Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior

What's up, everyone? All right? Well here we are Monday morning and it's a little bit of a snow day. We've got some snow in the ground so I decide to trade this morning from home now. Ended up finishing the morning off about 400 dollars, which is a good day. It's obviously not a home run, but one of the things I want to be really mindful of is easing off the throttle when things seem a little slower.

and today momentum seemed a little bit slower, just wasn't as hot. We didn't see quite as much action and so I was a perfect day to step back a little bit and trade from home and make a little bit of money and then come back tomorrow. Hopefully we see some better opportunities on the scanners tomorrow. All right, as always Questions Comments: leave them down below I'll see you guys first thing tomorrow morning.

All right everyone. So we're gonna do our midday market recap here. A little on the earlier side: I'm trading from the house this morning. we've got a little snow outside and so I figured I would trade here today and you know I'm up 436 dollars which is a Green Day It's always nice to have another.

Green Day but not a lot of clear momentum in the market today, which is kind of interesting. If we look at the halt halted scanner here, you'll see that no stocks this morning got halted. If we go back to the Gap scanner, I'll run this time frame for 9:25 a.m. you'll see that our leading gapper was VT VT gapping up 81% with 23 with a 23 million share flow and 3.6 million shares of pre market volume.

3.6 million shares of pre market volume is so much volume that for me, it's kind of hard to feel like the bell ringing really means anything. The stock has already been very actively traded. Of course, in the first one minute candle, an additional 1.3 million shares of volume were traded and in fact it did break over the trigger that I was sort of watching a for and it squeezed up 2 for 23 before rejecting and coming all the way back down here to a low of 3 56. So I think that it was the right move to steer clear this one.

It was very choppy. There was a quick opportunity on that break of 4 that I missed. and part of the reason I missed it this morning was because I wasn't really sure VT VT would end up being a big breakout stock and and in fact it really wasn't the next leading Gap or that I was sort of looking at was PL AG But that one, although I did trade as it broke over this level here by the time the bell was ringing, didn't look that great. Seed Sed was on the watchlist.

This one right out of the gates, ripped from 680 to 780 and then all the way back down to 641. So as the bell was ringing, I had three stocks on watch I was watching seed PL AG and VT VT and I also had bwa why on watch although I didn't end up trading at, the volume was too light. so I was kind of watching for different stocks and sometimes I find that when my attention star divided among several different stocks a I don't trade as well as when I have one stock that is the obvious you know, setup the obvious breakout stock and I think that that's also true. Generally speaking of the market that we get cleaner follow-through when there is one stock each day.
that is the obvious stock and everyone's watching it. and today we we didn't really get that, you know VT VT once that one failed, you know on the high bay Momo scanner we had VT VT then PL AG hit for a second but it didn't trust it right out of the gates I thought that it just wasn't really sure it was coming up to the 200 moving average on the daily. It had news but I didn't feel like I could really trust it. The one trade that I ended up taking on it was on actually this micro pullback under three.

It tapped a high of 295, pulled back and as it surged back up I jumped in for a quick trade. It ended up hitting a high of 350 but on a red candle that ended up forming the shooting star Dao was the surprise stock this one I wasn't planning on trading but it hit the hide a momentum scanners you can see right here. it was shared in the chat room as a recent IPO doing a breakout. The breakout really started on Friday as you can see here and then started to open up more this morning.

So I took a trade on this at 3 sorry 23:50 which was right here I held through this consolidation here and then when it popped up right here into this candle is where I took my profit I only traded 500 shares of it and I started taking profit out kind of fast because after I got in at 20 350 it dropped for a second down to twenty-three-twelve So I was like I'm down 40 cents a share. That's not great so came back up to 2375 2380 I was happy to take some some profit off the table. so that's where I finished today. It's not a home run day, it's It's not what I would typically consider to be achieving my daily goal, but on the other hand, if the daily goal is just to finish the day green which is a great goal generally speaking, then I achieved that and I don't want to lose sight of the fact that four hundred and thirty six dollars Although it's nothing compared to making forty eight thousand last week, the reason I was able to make forty eight thousand last week was because I was just focusing on lots of base, hit, slow and steady and walking away when I didn't feel the momentum.

and today I'm not really feeling the momentum. So I'm walking away and it happens that I'm only up for thirty six. I could have maybe just has easily been up forty three hundred, but today, momentum slowed down a little on the earlier side. so I'm hopeful that tomorrow we'll have a gapper that is a little more I don't know that performs a little bit better.

that is unlike VT VT doesn't fail out of the gates, but actually rips and ends up squeezing up. you know, another 50 60, 70 percent or more. so we'll see if we can do. But I'm gonna shut it down here today with a little bit of profit.
No trades in the IRA account today. The trade that I took on PL AG is the only one that I would have been able to afford in the IRA and it kind of happened so fast it hit the scanner, you know. And the thing of course, with this accounts that I've got to do that math of, well, how many shares can I afford to take? Do I want to use a hundred percent of my buying power? only fifty percent. So here I could have bought I could have bought well I guess almost a thousand shares of it.

Nine hundred if I wanted to go all-in or five hundred if I wanted to be a little more conservative and I just ended up skipping it entirely so trade the best, leave the rest. Today was a little choppy, but we'll be back at it first thing tomorrow morning and hopefully we see some better stocks on the scanner and better follow-through in the market. Watching this Hulk scanner is a great indicator of what type of strength or weakness, and today was definitely a little on the slower side. So I hope you guys do well if you do keep trading.

Maybe something will open up this afternoon, but the first hour of the day is when we typically get the best action so didn't get much today. I'm not gonna overstay my welcome. All right I'll see you guys first thing tomorrow morning. Bye everyone! Hey, did you know that I Go live every single morning between 9:00 and 9:15 to stream my pre market watch list.

Awesome videos! You inspired me to begin doing some trading. Slow go so far with the pdt rule. Opening a cmeg account this week. Only problem I have is i work full time and when the bell rings it’s difficult to keep up especially when td ameritrade is kinda slow. Is there any mobile apps I could use to help me identify stocks better?? I’d love to join the warrior team but just don’t have that kind of money currently , and I’m not so sure it would be worth it working full time. It seems u work strictly from a desktop or laptop. Thoughts?

    Ross,
Just watched your email video on level ll. After choosing a good stock to trade, do you typically trade exclusively from watching the level ll? Seems like that's the way to go. Awesome video btw.

TD Ameritrade lag bit me today. Tried to buy SEED at 6.80, filled at $7.72. Clicked sell market at $7.35 and was filled at $6.53. First time experiencing any lag with the platform for me and it was costly…($357)

Hey Ross, I’ve downloaded your Trade-Ideas layout an it does not match up with what you are currently using. Do you have an updated an latest version to download?

Does TOS not have a hot key for using a percentage of your buying power? so you dont have to figure it out , time is money

  30. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Chris Read says:

I also noticed how slow the momentum was today. I did manage to catch a reversal trade on MAC from 35.02 and closing the trade at 35.32. In retrospect it went on to 36 by end of play, but it stalled for so long around 35.30 that I lost confidence in it heading higher.
