Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior
What's up everyone? All right? So I'm gonna go over my trades from today, finishing the day pretty much flat you can see. Um, biggest winner was on Jspr. This was our leading gapper on the day and it's continuing higher right now. Jspr is up 68.
Uh, it was a gap of about 63. so this was on our scans early and then uh, Zvsa was on the scans as the third leading gapper. I actually lost 219 on that and Htgm the only stock that wasn't near the top of the Gap scan. Well, I guess it was up there a little bit, but it wasn't near the top.
that's the one that I was read on. So and look at that rejection there on Jspr, see how it just popped up and pulled back so you know today I should have I should have sort of stuck with my guns and not come back I Got my first trade on Jspr early and I'm actually going to go into the 10 second chart to show it to you. So uh, Jspr I found it right off the scanners. so using the same tool that you guys uh as members all have access to and my first trade was um I took an entry right here on this micro pullback.
I got in with 9 000 shares at 235 right here 234 on that micro pullback so it squeezed up micro pullback I Bought there because I thought if it broke through the previous High it would squeeze at least five or ten cents and we got a nice move there up to about 254 and that was enough to make eleven hundred, sixty four dollars and sixteen cents. Which isn't bad. All right, so that was some good good profit on that and I didn't take any more trades on it. One trade and that was it.
My second trade of the day was on Zvsa. Zvsa was on the scans and I took a trade on it as it was approaching the half dollar of Uh 450 and I was right about here that I got in and I pretty quickly stopped out for a 200 loss. I thought that it was going to break through this flat top here and I got in at 40. I actually got into like 43.
it went up to 50 something 52 but then it quickly reversed down into the 20s and I took the loss on it. So you know this one is kind of tricky because it was up and then it was down and then it popped back up and then it was sideways. So and then it had a hard sell-off there. So anyways, kind of tricky price action.
on Zvsa, it was our second lead, third leading gapper. it was our it might have been our leading gaffer at the time when I took my first trade on it though and then with that. So at that point I had these two trades, I was up like 950 bucks and I walked away for a few minutes. Um, I was helping doing something with the kids and came back and when I came back there there was a like Gardener landscaper running a wig of weed whacker or something.
it's like really loud. it's right here and I sat down and I pulled up Htgm and I saw that it had just squeezed up actually I had checked it on my phone and I saw that it was moving up on my scans and so I sat down and I was like okay, let me try to trade this. so I I took a couple trades on it I took two trades and I lost on both of them. So my first trade on Htgm uh I took a long on it at 7 20. and it I have 734 and I thought it was going to continue higher but I stopped out so I got in like right up here at the top I thought I was gonna keep going but I lost 200 on my first trade. uh it sold off here but when it came it sold off down there to that Well, but when it came back up right here I got back in at 7 20. I was like okay, it's coming back up I think it's going to rip through that 725 spot 7 30. and it didn't and I took a second loss right there I was over trading it a little too high in its range, they weren't perfect trades, wasn't super clean, and I lost 500 um 81.47 on that trade those two trades so that leaves me with 363.58 on the day.
A small green day, but small green days? Um, you know they certainly pay the bills and this is a I'm totally okay with this right now. In fact, my goal is to minimize my red days and try to have as few red days um, and as small of size red days as I can. and I was able to prevent a red day again today, which is good, right? And you know, just staying consistent with small green days. I'm avoiding red days now.
yeah, if something starts to really open up and look good, I can size up the guy only had a one day this week that I got nice pretty nicely in the green um, and I ended up giving back some of it before the end of that day. so not not the cleanest. Uh, well, not a bad week. I'm green five out of five days this week.
but um, no home run trades like no big Winners just small Basics pretty much every day. So anyways, grinding on base hits right now until we get that next. um, sort of wave of some really parabolic momentum. So I think that that's a good way to approach it and um, with that I Hope you guys enjoy the weekend.
I'm gonna go to the beach I Uh, I'm you know, trying to enjoy being out of uh, the winter in New England for a couple weeks here and I'll see you back at it on Tuesday Markets closed Monday So we have a market holiday on Monday but we'll be back at it on Tuesday All right, have a great weekend, Make sure you check out some of the new episodes we've uploaded and I'll see you back here on Tuesday morning. Oh and hey, reminder, In case you didn't already know, trading is risky, My results aren't typical and there's no guarantee you'll find success whether you're trading your own. You'll learn from me. So make sure you take it slow, practice the simulator before you put real money on the line, and don't try to blindly follow me or anyone else.
We'll see you on Tuesday.
Ross I have a serious question, if you get a chance to see it. Ive been trying to trade with Lightspeed and the same platform used in your classes, but the company is super slow on acceptance. Is there something I am doing wrong? Itried it with the minimum for margin trading($25K) and they still never accepted me. CMEG was even worse! I had a intake person who wanted way too much info on me, my SS#, my acct#'s at other brokerages, etc. Thats NOBODIES business. Why was CMEG so difficult to trade when I had cash and told them I was coming from WT? Loved the ProClass! It gave me way more than what I paid in money, in experience. I KNOW I can trade, Im doing it. But it was nice to learn where my weaknesses were before I used real money!
Is Ross using leverage, if so , what range
Hey Ross when u check the market on your phone.. Is there an app you guys developed that’s connected to your day trade dash platform?
Had a tough Friday too, but luckily it ended up as green. I made the erorr to buy NEGG just at lunchtime, but i got hard headed and stayed with big loss until after lunch, when, exactly (to the minute) 1hour later it went back up and sold for a profit. Lesson learned, well deserved break to all until Tuesday!
👍
thanks for the video 🙂
What do think about Hmbl? It’s getting crushed at .01! But I like the idea of certified sports memorabilia….
Big red day until MGOL, took a big risk and finished green for 1K up. Quit and said thanks to the trading Gods. Big lesson for me, don’t trade emotions. Got lucky.
The most important lesson I learned in the Pro series is that it's OK not to trade! Don't chase the move, if you missed it oh well. Also, keep your trading ammt$$$ fixed. When u get over confident and start using a larger ammt of money be ready to trade that consistently! Minimize your losses, and do what you know(from here or elsewhere) and manage your money.
I'd give a suggestion about what platform to use, but CMEG and Lightspeed are difficult to get set up with. I'm still using TDAmeritrade, (I hear the groans!) but I'm comfortable with their margin specs.
Hope You ALL had a good day, and make it a GREAT year!
i lost 18c on ZVSA…so painful
how about u?
Had a red day today; had two red days this week on BBBY & MARA. But I finished the week +$9,000 .
It’s hard to accept the losses and not over trade and give back everything you made that week; I almost gave into my emotions and kept trading and I probably would’ve given back all my profits had I done that.
I’m glad I had a cushion and grateful for my second green week in a row. Can’t wait to get in the classes ✨
Thank you Ross. I started the year on a bad foot until Monday of this week. Have been consistent all week. Still have my 9-5. Today I traded WFC. Got in at 40.72, out at 43.60 @ 800 shares. Had the best day of the year at $2300 profit. Yesterday was good too, traded OKTA from 63, out at 65.20. I always lose when I trade small caps. I know they are much more profitable but needs to join warrior trading when I eventually quit my job. Have a great weekend everyone
Ross, question: why do you only trade the small caps?? With all the volatility in the market these days, some of the larger cap stocks seem to have cleaner price action and still make big moves. You're WAY beyond my level, I'm still a beginner, but I was just curious 🙂
I had a red day got in $JSPR to late 1.38 sold half 1.41 then it flush to 1.31..$APRN bought to early 1.30 had to let go 1.23.. deff have to practice better entry points
A small green day here as well. Had some distractions during the last leg up on the JSPR run. Thanks as always for sharing!
Back on Tuesday, baby!
Small red day chopped out on HTGM, honestly shouldn't have even touched it… Felt triggered and shut down
Nice staying green Ross! Enjoy your weekend!!
❤ thank you $ROSS !
Did you trade MGOL
