from watching so many of your vids, i think the reason you trade while youre traveling, is because you simply love trading. it's very hard to not trade, if youre profitable long-term.
one thing that is fascinating, is when your existing and former tudents (myself being one of them), continue forward with their journeys.
I also watched the recent Bill Ackman interview with Lex Fridman, and the way Bill describes his life, when he was faced with a $4B loss, was very fascinating.
He's not a daytrader obviously, but the psychological analysis was still informative.
I managed to lose money the last couple weeks but learned a lot. First and foremost, I NEED to have my stop loss defined BEFORE I enter a trade. Most importantly, however, I MUST honor my stop loss if hit, no matter how much it hurts to realize the loss. Too many times these last two weeks, I let my losses get worse and worse after my trade went against me. Had I honored my original stop losses, I’d have ended with profits this week and last
I lost so much money this week!
Reading your book and the forward describes my emotional mistakes to a T. I will adjust my approach to one built around risk management. I’ve blown off journaling and risk ratios. But I’m very down in my account so I must get serious about this. Thank you for this free education. I plan to join your course later this spring.
Hi Ross and all. I been watching the videos for a couple months and trading for one month. I started with 25k and have 4500 left. I need help and have been looking at the packages. I need up to the second scanners and some live direction. Does Ross give direction in the package with the live chat option. Do other traders with their badges give any direction in the live chat?
Do not forget since you are working while traveling you can deduct the entire cost of the trip on taxes.
