What's up everyone? All right? So uh, another great day trading in the bus green green so I'm happy with that. Grateful Thirty Six thousand dollars I was up forty four thousand, gave back 8 000 off the top. Typical. That's classic Ross.
I trade aggressively all the way until I start losing money and then I try to get good at walking away before I give back too much. I'm often sitting here saying man, I wish I'd stopped just a little sooner. But of course I could have stopped him. I was up ten thousand, I could have stopped and I was up 15.
I could have stopped when I was up 20. I kept going all the way until I started to give back a little profit off the top, which for me seems to be the right way to trade. And it's It's a way of trading momentum that makes sense. I keep buying as it goes higher, buy high, sell higher until I buy and that starts pulling back And then I say okay, that's it.
I'm done, so I'm gonna break it down for today for you guys in the recap. As always, you know trading is risky. My results are not typical. most beginner traders lose money and you should trade in a simulator before you ever put real money on the line.
All right. So with that, I hope you enjoy the recap, Hit that thumbs up and I'll see you first thing tomorrow morning. All right everyone. So um, I'm gonna do my recap here for the main account.
I already did the small account recap. Today was day two of the small account challenge. Up uh, six hundred dollars there which is good and in the main account I'm up. Uh, thirty six thousand, Nine hundred.
not bad. I was up 44 000 and then I had three red trades in a row. I lost 2500 on Dtss. so I went from up 44 on that to Up Uh 22 42.5 lost what is it? 1700 on Ahpi and lost 3 900 on Mdia.
And just like that, I'm done for the day. I gave back a little more than, well, 20 of my profit 8 000 off the top. Uh, you know I see Sgoc continuing higher. It leaves me feeling a little frustrated.
A little sense of loss. uh over over traded a little bit, got caught in some chop, gave back profit some of those stocks. Well, Sgoc has continued uh to make a move and I didn't catch any of it. but you know at the same time this is a great day.
It's a green day. 36 000 is uh, well over my daily goal which is 20 000 a day. So life is good. I can't complain and I gotta shut it down before I get Fomo.
So let me recap. Uh Dtss. Um, in the most detail because this was the leading gapper today and it was the the one that I obviously did the best on. So uh, I traded in my small account and I traded in my big account and some of my best trades on it.
Um, let's see, we had a fantastic trade right here. Uh, this was a big trade for me. I bought this dip right there. So we got this dip and this was, uh, just before the open.
We got this dip off of the Um 20 moving average here on the one minute chart. We had the support at about 587. it broke it. I did a dip, it came right back above it. So I was in initially at about 587 588, 592 and then I started adding. I added for the break of six 6 15, 625, 635, 645 and we got the squeeze here up to 658. Right there I took profit, it dips down. I did a dip.
We got a squeeze all the way up to about 684. This was right at the open, right there, it dipped down, it popped back up, and then I started giving back a little bit of profit as it started trending back down. But that was a fantastic trade right there and right in here right around. Uh, I think it was 550.
Uh, what was really interesting here was, um, first it broke to 552, then it dropped. It looked like it was fading and then all of a sudden it popped back to 550. There was a 100 000 plus buyer on the bid at like 550 and then it just ripped through 65, 75, 85 through six And that's where we got that nice big move up to six dollars. that right there I can't remember.
I think that was a ten or twenty thousand dollar winner and then this right here was about 25 000 dollar winner. So got some really nice trades uh there on Dtss and then was like okay, I don't want to overstay my welcome and it started to pull back and that was that Mdia. This one halted going up. I got in it for a dip and Rip Right here it popped up.
I sold for a thousand dollars profit then got back in for a second dip. Average down cut the loss down five grand on that. So that put me down 3 900 on the stock. Ahpi this one I took a quick trade on and halt resumption.
Dip and Rip failed there as well. I think the biggest issue is that our leading gapper was, uh, was faded. with the leading gap or fading. I just don't think that these sympathy momentum stocks were as, um, had that same level of momentum.
Uh, except of course Sgoc. The one that I didn't trade is the one that actually continued higher. So what's the deal? It's just the look of the draw. It's the way it goes, so it's all good.
It's fine. Um, you know 36 000 is a great day. I'm going to shut it down right here. Keep that money in my pocket.
I I feel the urge to try to get back what I lost and at least finish the day up over 40 000. And that right there is the indicator to get as far away from the computer as possible because Fomo is already kicking in. It's only 10 15. but Fomo's kicking in, so I got to be grateful for what I have.
It was good enough. Yeah, I gave back some off the top. I flew a little too close to the sun. I got aggressive, but that's momentum trading.
We know trading is risky. I often get aggressive for those big moves. So um, that's the way it is today and I'll live to trade another day. So that's it for me.
As always. and you can see down in the bottom corner. Uh, over there that way. day trading is risky.
Most traders lose money and my results are not typical. So if you're thinking about trading with real money, you do yourself a favor and trading the simulator before you ever put real money on the line. If you can't make money, a simulator, you have no business trading with real money. And don't you dare try to blindly follow me or anyone else. I don't care who you're trying to blindly follow. Whether it's Warren Buffett, Jim Cramer, or me or anyone else blindly following you, don't know what you're doing. You can't do that. Trade in a simulator, prove profitability, and then flip the switch.
All right, So that's it for me. Thank you guys for tuning in and I'll be back at it first thing tomorrow morning for day three of the small Account challenge. And uh, just a regular regular old Thursday in my big account. All right, I'll see you then.
I hope you really enjoyed that video and make sure you hit the thumbs up and subscribe to the channel if you haven't already. Our goal is to hit 1 million subscribers this year, but we won't get there without your help. So please, please please hit that subscribe.
Hey Ross how many shares did you buy pre market? cause i rememeber you said you always go light but it looks like you bought 20k shares to make 20K$
If you donβt mind me asking, where do you find news posted about short squeeze candidates?
Hey Ross. What type of orders are you using to get out of your positions quickly? Market order? Also, lets say your order isn't completely filled…how do your short cut keys know the quantity to sell? I always get a message saying "short is not allowed on this stock" and then I have to manually change the amounts in my active trader which takes a ton of time and the price is flushing. Thank you.
Hi there,
Does it make sense to put your stop loss at your entry price? ()only on Bull Flag and Fallen Angel strategy)
I have noticed that when a leading gapper is breaking a new high with decent volume to justified the move, it normally goes way higher of my entry, but when it is a false breake, it just keep that up and down movement as seller keep fighting buyers with a hiden unmproportional amount of shares being short, or simply selling off.
Thanks,
Hi Ross, I saw in one of your videos you mention if you can take 10 cents out of the market you are beating the market. I would like to know how much do you usually aim for, and how much beginners should aim for as they progress? Thanks a lot!
We want more live stream for Youtube Ross! love you!!
What's your brother name and his youtube channnel name please tell
How did I make $500 and u make 42k there is. Disconnect. How much shares did u buy. Massive leverage use I guess.
Seems like lots of stocks to pick during pre-market and faded off after the open
Great trades yet again today Ross! Congrats!!!
HOW DID U KNOW THAT 20DAY EMA line was gonna hold after breaking/dipping below that support line???..very curious…also I downloaded that micro pull back pdf, but a full 5 or even 25 min video showing how u know when to buy those damn pull backs like that would be unbelievably helpful! π₯Ίπ₯Ί
I am very interested in your trading courses. Thank you
Well…. I made a nice $4.9k on DTSS. Not bad for a small trader π
You're awesome man I love your videos I lost my job last week And I've been studying for 6 months or so on the stock market. I opened an account with cmeg. You're a huge inspiration, I hope one day I can be a quarter of the trader you are.
Iβm 18 learning to trade and love your videos ππ
Will you do a live on YouTube when you trade in the morning so we can see how you find stocks and trade at least to give a idea or record it and up load from the very beginning in searching the stocks and what platform
these kinds of stocks pop in the morning and then they rug pull the rest of the day. early bird gets the worm
Loved the more enthusiastic intro before the intro. Nice video
If I can only do that twice a year, Iβll be very happy.
Warrior pro alum : Made 485- $ today on DTSS and SGOC . 8 / 10 green trades . $5,000 max trade size. All of my trades were direct result of what I learned from his $4,000– course, well worth it it, Takes money to make money !
Ross, I agree only in part with you on trading into the simulator and the reason is that is not real, no real money, no real emotions, no real trades and the list goes on.
Man, I went in, just had losses… Maybe swining 20k shares is the answer….
Hi! Do you trade mostly using macd, rsi, sma, and vwap? I use those indicators to follow most of my trades
Hey ROSS WHEN ARE YOU COMING TO PUERTO RICO π΅π·
Haha, and just like that!, Iβm done for the day! π. Nice
