Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior
What's up you guys? Alright, well here we are. End of the week finishing up 15% in the small account with TV merit rate I Didn't take any trades today, but you know, traded in three days this week and right now I'm up 1987 dollars. Where's that? Yeah, something like that I closed out my platform but yeah, right around $2,000 on the day in my Lightspeed account. but it felt like I was you know, fighting an uphill battle all morning I didn't go green until my last two trades on CPA H I Started the day with a couple of kind of breakeven small trades fifty sixty dollars and this is my big account then dropped into the red by a thousand bucks, dug my way out, drop back into the red and then finally on Cpa.
H got myself adver ed and nicely into the green. So two thousand dollars is the daily goal once I got there I said I'm taking my money off the table I'm walking away I'm not gonna push my luck. Wild card Friday Well I guess today is a it's a day off from that because the last week fries have been awesome but today I don't know em but I do see it ripping up here from eleven twelve to thirteen but price is a little higher and the spreads are a little bigger I Just don't have the cushion to be aggressive. That's one of the things that's can be so frustrating you know right now I might occasionally see a more speculative, a little bit of a riskier trade, but I don't have the cushion to really take it.
You know if I'm only up barely to my daily goal I I just don't feel like I can afford the risk. On days where I'm up five, six thousand then I'll feel like hey, you know what I can take a little risk I can afford it and when they work, those are the days that I spend up finishing up twelve fifteen, twenty thousand dollars. but it starts with the cushion. so if I can't get a cushion I can't afford risk and that keeps kind of happening.
This week that I get myself green but not green enough to you know really put the pedal to the metal so that's okay. First full week here of January Not a lot of progress but you know the small accounts doing well. the big account chopped out in the first couple days coming back here Wednesday Thursday Friday Three green days in a row. Let's try to keep it going going into next week.
I Hope you guys enjoy the weekend. I've got a video that I'm gonna upload tomorrow which I think you'll really enjoy, so stay tuned for that and I'll see you all first thing on Monday morning. As always questions, comments, leave them right down below and I hope you're already subscribed to the channel, but if not, hit that subscribe button. Alright, see you guys on Monday All right everyone, So we're gonna do midday market recap here.
Go over The trades from this morning. I'm gonna finish the day up 1987 dollars and 38 cents which is 13 dollars off my 2000 dollar daily goal which is the daily goal that I have for my big account. now. today was a day where I felt like it was fighting an uphill battle all day. Um, it was not until my last trade that I actually got myself up this far into the green and for a while I was sitting in the red today. Not the easiest finish to the week and in fact this week was a little choppy in general. No trades in the small TD Ameritrade account today I've got the buying power now up at two thousand eight hundred sixty nine dollars thanks to my three hundred eighty five dollar profit yesterday which is great I'm very happy with that. but I only had seven hundred thirty three dollars of buying power today when I was looking at stocks like Jean or CPA H CPH I could have taken you know three hundred shares of, but this one being a little cheaper I didn't expect it to move in twenty thirty cent increments.
so I didn't think I'd be able to make a hundred bucks on it and Jean I'd only be able to buy you know, 150 shares. It's just gets to a point where it's not really worth it. And also remember, you know that if I'm focusing on the small account, its sacrificing the ability to take that trade in my big account. So I'll sacrifice that ability if I can take 500 shares, 600 shares and actually make a nice, you know solid trade.
But to do that for a hundred shares feels like it's not worth it. So today this account is gonna rest I traded it three days this week it's up 15% in three days and on Monday all of my buying power will be back at the full 2869. So I'll be able to take you know potentially a thousand or twelve hundred shares of a stock like this. So so that'll be good.
Alright so we'll move that back down here and my let's see Lightspeed account as you can see here in nice shape today. Thanks mostly to see PAH Let's look at the Gap scanner and kind of break down how this day began. So I'm gonna go time Frame: Historical date: 9:20 A.m. So at 9:20 A.m.
see PAH was our leading gapper of 54% and guess what? that's the stock that I made the most money on. so that's nice. Straight off the Gap scanner straight off the pre-market watchlist. Which means every single one of you guys had every opportunity to trade this even before me because I told you as the stock that I was gonna be watching I didn't know how good it would be.
we never do, but it was on the watchlist so that's good Jean This was continuation from yesterday an NBC hide a Momentum scanner seed continuation a and te Momo scanner AG TC this was continuation and PHAs was on the Gap scanner right here. Alright, so Gap scanner CPA H Sr Ne and PLM the floats are to big Drad I Pulled up the chart and you know I thought okay, this looks interesting and but there's there's no news, there's no, there's nothing really happening. So I figured well it just needs more volume a CRS floats a little high. this one floats a little high too cheap.
no volume too expensive. this one a little more expensive. Not a lot of volume so I just skipped over it. a nte I did end up taking a trade on it, but it wasn't something I was looking at until it broke over a dollar 50 I'll show you that trade in a second years. I've treated that before, not interested. too expensive on rare PHAs ended up being halted pre market on news and so it halted at 6 I don't know what was a 6 6 31. It resumed at let's see, 701 surged up to 771, squeeze all the way up to 8 49 I still managed to lose money on it. We'll break down that trade in a second and let's see.
Yeah, so that's that's basically what I was looking at off the Gap scanner. Okay, so the bell rings and this was kind of a little bit of a funny start to the day. Nothing looked really great so I didn't take any trades for the first couple minutes and the first stock that ended up trading was a nte right here as it was squeezing up. I Pulled up the chart and I realized this is a recent IPO and above a dollar eighty three all-time highs and so sometimes these stocks end up giving us some really great opportunities.
Oh I See em bot here. Good job! For those of you guys that did jump on this, we'll see. We'll see if it holds these levels for the squeeze from 1140 up to 12:40 1280. That's nice.
Nice daily setup I ended up passing on it but worth keeping an eye on to see if it continues. The next resistance is 1385. So anyways ad which one was I oh so am te and TE I liked the daily chart and as it started to squeeze up I was like oh wow this thing looks good so I jumped in it I think it was it. let's see him I jumped in this around.
Excuse me a dollar sixty a dollar seventy Looking for that squeeze up into a possible halt and a move through to maybe 250 ended up rejecting I Stopped out with only $58 a profit on a 10000 share position so you know, just it didn't end up working and I stopped out. So that was my first trade. It's never A great sign when my first trade is basically a loser I mean essentially it was breakeven, but it was not the winner that I hoped it would be. and then I took a trade on a GTC a GTC traded yesterday with over 42 million shares of volume and it squeezed from a low of 6 all the way up to 950.
It then pulled back a little bit here and pre-market I was thinking alright, this looks good once the bell rings for a break, red to green move a break nine and a search up to 950. So I got in right here. My first trade was actually right here to anticipate that and I stopped out of it with a very tiny winner. So I was like okay, I was a close call tiny winner I got back in right here and stopped out right here for a 1,200 or $1,100 loss.
and then it did exactly what I thought it was gonna do right here. So this is really frustrating. It was really disappointing, but um, you know I am. it's just it's just the way it goes.
It's interesting that you guys have more chart on a nte than I Do I wonder why? um hmm looking at that anyways. Um, that's a little concerning I mean it's if your charts aren't accurate that can really throw off your kind of bias on a stock. and bought nice little one-minute pullback right here as you can see 78 up to 13. We can look at the level 2 on it. there's 95. by 98 800,000 shares of volume, it's up 16% Some sellers there 97 flash down to 80 right? so those those can be tricky. Alright so anyways second trade was on AG TC now I'm two trades in and I'm down I'm red on the day by almost a thousand bucks. Um let's see next trade was seed.
Alright so seed this stock. you know this was again continuation from yesterday pre market it was kind of flat but then the bell rang and it was consolidating right here around 35 it pops here up to 69 70 and I jumped in I took my starter it's I think it was 75 and then they added my cost basis was 815 I kept adding this hit a high of 871 which is pretty impressive and I only made 71 dollars on it and that was mostly just because it moved really fast. The spread was a little big and I I just wasn't able to to lock up the profit so that was a little disappointing I know some of you guys did better on much better on it than me but I just had a little bit of a hard time there and NVC this one another setup that kind of hit the scanner I jumped into it, squeezes up to let's see what was this 388 then right here it comes back up I got back in or I got in. where was it? It was actually right here for the first five minute candle to make a new high which was it's 89.
it pops up to a high of 407 I took my profit got out. Then we had Gene continuation as well over yesterday's high. All of a sudden starts to squeeze up I jumped in this at 5:00 or right around 490. it squeezes up to a high here of 536 but it didn't hold that level super well.
and then we've got CPI H CPH starts to squeeze up right here I didn't get into it until right here. $2 14 at this point I thought it had a chance of going up to a dollar to to 14 to 225. It did. It squeezed up to 239.
That was my first trade I then bought this one minute pullback right here. we got to move up to 259. then it consolidates and I bought right in here for the break first 5-minute candle to make a new high. So I took a few trades on this with larger share size and ended up doing the best on that one and Phas.
that's the one that is kind of disappointing. It resumed from the halt and I didn't buy it on resumption because the spreads were kind of big and I was like I don't know I'm not in a really good shape on the day and then it surges to 77. it then pulls back and right here at about 8:00 I got in I got it at 8:00 it then surges up to 850. it pulls back for a second I added an 8 48 for the break over 850 with a target of 9 and then it dropped here back down to 8 and I lost 1,200 bucks.
So at my worst today I was down about 1,100 and at my best I was up just over 2,000 but only by like 30 bucks and so I'm gonna finish the day taking the money off the table 1987 dollars again I traded pretty actively today I could sit here and keep trading and you know, try to get something out of em, but it's it's tempting and you know this one might end up going higher, but at the same time I don't want to give back profits I don't want to overstay my welcome. So I think I'm just gonna take the money off the table. you know? let this week be what it was and be back at it first thing on Monday I'll have my TD Ameritrade account back and and up and you know with cash available to trade. My Lightspeed account has had a couple of green days here so that's nice and I hope that by the end of the month that the TD Ameritrade account is you know doing doing really well and is getting up close to I don't know ten thousand or something like that and that between that I'm able to average two thousand dollars plus or minus on the days that I do trade in Lightspeed that that would be a nice way to kind of smooth out the next three weeks or so or to two and a half weeks the first. I don't know. whatever is ten days here of January has been pretty choppy. I've had a couple of days where you know in my small account I was in my Lightspeed account where I was big in the green and gave back profits I've had a couple days where I just went immediately into the red and we haven't had at least I haven't had a really really big winner and I feel like a week. Not to say that I wasn't up five grand the day before yesterday, but like a big winner for me would probably be an eight to ten thousand dollar green day.
and it's been a little while since I've had that maybe like a week and a half or two weeks. So I'll be looking forward to a couple of those big green days here again at some point. but at the same time have to remember that I you know, really make the bulk of my profits on on base hits. and you know today was a day of many base hits and that's really, that's the way it works.
So anyways, that's it for me. I Hope you guys have a great weekend and I will see you on! Monday If you're still watching, you must have really enjoyed that video. So why not subscribe and get email alerts anytime? I upload new content. Remember when you subscribe, you become a member of the Warrior trading.

Thanks Ross👍
Hey Ross, I like your baby sweater. It's cute.
Ross i had a quick question. one of the reasons i join Pro and im very happy with the course was to be able to watch your small account challenge and your break down of your trades. you said you would be posting those for WT students. you posted the first 5 days and then nothing tell day 13 and then theres no more. once you get up there its not really a small account i would have liked to seen the first two weeks. i know it was the holidays and you were travailing. hope you do another one soon when you wont be travailing and can break down the first two weeks or so. Do you have more videos to post?
Love your shirt! Suits you.
Two straight days where if you would have bought at first 1 hr (7:30 AM ET) the two top stocks by volume and percent gain (AGTC thurs and CPAH frid) and placed a 15% trailing stop…. you would have made tons.
How do you use TOS scanner for watchlist? Thanx
Lol my reaction to that shirt was the same as my reaction to the CyberTruck. First it was like "Wtf is this?" Then it was like aight it's actually kind of dope." Haha nice win Ross
Funny shirt Ross. I 👍
I have a situation I was looking for a suggestion about. I drive a truck nights with a team partner and we have what you may call a "guru" that is helping us with how he trades successfully. Our problem is getting started because we don't normally get home until close to 11 on all but Monday mornings so we miss the opening bell. We are currently both using cash accounts on thinkorswim since we don't get to trade that often. We both have kids and family so we can't just quit our jobs for this risk currently.
I know you trade mornings mostly but do you have any ideas on how we can trade more regularly to start building our capital?
You said to give you ideas for new videos, you might have already talked about this before, if so, please send me the link, ok so the other day when INPX took everything including my underwear, where did the money go ?? When I buy stock at 2$ each and it goes down a dime, where did my dime just go, or I go all in on 2$ stock and 5 minutes later, I'm up two thousand and cash out, who just paid for me to have that? I know this might be a dumb question, and everyone knows the answer, but I'm knew to this and ive been wondering
Hi Ross, I love your latest AMERITRADE challenge, but how are you avoiding the PDT rules on that small account?
Wow Cpah was gorgeous today. I played the exact opposite and rode ptla from 13.90 to 14.80. Nice 4k. 💰💪
Your logic going through the stock scan has been very good insight. It really helps to see what your are looking for in a stock before you hit the chart
Are your trades only stocks or do you trade options too?
Very cool Ross, by the way I think I have found Waldo on your shirt 😉.
You should take a look at how good a 6 day SMA line looks on the chart…im learning your strategy. I feel like im getting better every day.
Check out CPAH from today Jan 10th with the 6 day SMA line on the chart. (5 minute chart.)
Nice 👍🏾 trade Ross! How is it you manage to make these 5+ trades in between 2 hours is it fast processing? Or move right on with out reviews? Next is immediately? Thanks 🙏
Hi Ross, I am currently only tradin currencies, and I was wondering which brokerage I can use to day trade. I am currently living in Canada.
Hey Ross, is there a trading simulator you would recommend?
How would I determine the best stock to chose? And is td Ameritrade mobile good to use on the go? And is td Ameritrade free to sign up?
Great job Ross and thank you again for all of the informative videos! I was in the Pre market YouTube vid with you today and called out TRIL @ $3.00… and then my TD account froze so I wasn’t able to trade until I got to work. Shoulda coulda right? Still, the information that you share on your channel is invaluable and I appreciate your tips and advice. Going live soon! Best of luck to you next week!
Ross if I wanted to test a new strategy, without risking money, how accurate is a paper account? As in if the strategy where live traded then would it have the same or close to the results of a simulation test run?
Hey Ross, I know that your strategy is day day trade, my question is if i want to swing trade what do your recommend?
Is CMEG compatible with apple Mac laptop?
Very late start today —Traded CPAH only – from 1pm est to the eod… 7 trades = +$7000! All using the TOS Active Trader… which I am starting to really appreciate now… You should have stayed with CPAH Ross… Perhaps don't stop trading before 11am sometimes… Lot's of profit to be made mid to end of day lately… Awesome end to the week! Thanks for everything Ross!
Nice Ross, not a home run but you still made your daily goal on a choppy Friday!
I enjoy your videos but can you tell me how you set up your trade ideas scanner??
hey ross, In your experience can mid day public offerings happen within the first hour of regular trading? Or do they usually happen later in the day? In other words, when is the most common time companies would do a public offering? Have you ever experience one within the first hour?
Hello, do you go live premarket everyday or is that a paid service you provide because I only see it sometimes in the week.
Just had my first $8000 dollar week!! Thank you for all the help and tips Ross!
great video ross! I have small account with around 600 dollars with no margin and I traded it today and was up 200 dollars but lost on my last trade and that put me at 170 dollars but I learned on that trade so that was a positive thing.
Russ CPAH been crushing all day, i know I did. Was very patient and nailed it to the end.
good risk management Ross
Kick ass shirt!
