What's up everybody welcome back to the channel today's video is going to be about who qualifies for this stimulus check this stimulus package and I'm trying to answer some Q & A that I've really been getting on a couple month. Videos, we've done a few videos, one about how to get your stimulus check faster and also when we should be receiving it, which would be for direct deposit sometime next week or the week after that. So, let's get right into this video again guys if you find these videos helpful, make sure you like share and subscribe. So you don't miss any future updates on anything else.

I'm talking about as far as this or anything else, travel or credit wise. Let's get right into the video, alright guys, so first, let me start trying to answer some of the frequent questions on beginning. So a lot of people are asking that they have like they prepaid debit cards, for example like the Emerald card. They have like you know so, like H & R Block Jackson, Hewitt, they have these debit cards or you can like reloadable debit cards, or you can put some the money on it as opposed to getting direct deposit or check.

I've been looking all over. So it's on to find the answer. That's probably the most typical question that I'm getting right now is what about those customers so far. The IRS website has nothing to say really much about that.

If you guys found an article or of any sort and I'm wrong, please let me know, but so far the IRS has said nothing about putting things on a reloadable debit card. It really is focusing on direct deposits or checks, so account number routing number, not a debit card number, not a credit card number, nothing like that account number and routing number, whether that's a checking account or a savings account or a money market. However, you want to look at it. Those are direct deposits at this point, but again guys if you find anything else differently, please make sure you, let me know, put an article put a link if you have, as you know, if you have some proof put the link in there, so everybody else can See I know this is a really talked about topic, so that's the first thing now before I get into who qualifies.

I do want to talk about. Unfortunately, at this point it's not really talked about really much so SSI for if I'm getting that question a lot too so for anybody who's on SSI right now, there isn't really much to really say about it. All I can really say from doing my research is that it's in the works, but there's been nothing confirmed. I have a good feeling that you guys who are on SSI, because everybody is important.

We shouldn't leave any single person on everybody during this time and he's the money. I do think you guys should be okay, but again, I'm not a financial adviser or a tax consultant. So you don't want to take my word, a hundred percent for this, but SSI there has been no 100 % confirmation as from our research today, since I've really been researching this topic, that SSI will get the stimulus checks. Now, let me get into the people.

You know who will get these checks, so the first batch is, if you are a single u.s. resident with an adjusted gross income less than ninety nine thousand dollars. Now man, I mean adjusted gross income. That means, let's say you're a you, know: business owner and you make two hundred thousand a year.

But after you maximize your deductions with the tax consultant or a tax advisor, you are, you know your adjusted gross income. So you know, after taxes or after maximizing your deductions or like fifty to seventy thousand dollars in that instance, you should qualify as a single u.s. resident with an adjusted gross income of 90 k, ninety nine thousand or less so after average adjusted. If it's a hundred thousand dollars after you've maximize deductions, you will not qualify for the stimulus package, so that's number one again: ninety nine thousand dollars or less for a single US resident with an adjusted gross income after maximizing deductions, if you're a business owner or you Have write-offs, ninety nine thousand dollars or less? The second is, if you foul head of household and you earn under one hundred and forty six thousand five hundred dollars all right.

So that's very straightforward! If you are, you know a parent and you file had a household and you make under less than one hundred and forty six thousand five hundred dollars. You should qualify for the package again guys. This is off of me doing my research so far and last but not least, as far as earning come, if you are joint, so if you filed joint or a married couple, so you found them you're filing married without children, just you and your spouse and you Earn 198 K or less okay. So again, if you are a joint couple, so typically married you're filing joint and without any kids without knots, and you cannot have children but you're filing jointly without the kids right and you make one hundred ninety eight thousand dollars or less.

You should be able to qualify for the stimulus package, a good question. A lot of people are asking, but what about people who are on Social Security? So, like you know, retirees and things of that nature senior citizens according to the IRS, because you guys are to receive Social Security. Most of you guys, direct deposit every month. There shouldn't be any change to that.

There's nothing more! You have to do at all. So definitely make sure you just want to look out within the next week or so again, if you get Social Security, not SSI of the Social Security, then there's nothing else more for you to do as long as it's you know, come in direct deposit again, just Make sure the account that you're getting direct deposit in is still open and active nothing's changed for people who you know so. I've already talked about this, but I'll just kind of quickly go over it again for people who want to have direct deposit, but do not have direct deposit right now. The best thing you guys can do, if you haven't done so already, is to file your taxes for the year of 2009 teen.

I think that'd be the best way to kind of get yourself on board. If you let's say are a you know US resident and you make ninety nine thousand or less, but you get a check instead of direct deposit fire, your taxes for 2019, if you haven't done so again, you guys do have a deadline extended to July 15th to Pay taxes, if you owe but at least the IRS, will now have your updated information on file to help you out.
