What's up everyone? All right? Well, Red Day recap here for me. Another Red Monday. It seems like this is my trend. Um, I don't know if I've Well, I know that this year when you add up all the Mondays, I'm red.

If I had not traded any Monday this entire year, I would have made a little bit more money because Mondays are a net negative day for me. This is the first time that I recall being this far into a year and having that be the case. Um, but it it is what it is. I don't know.

It's quite. It's quite unusual. I'm just looking at the metrics right here. Um, in trader View.

So I'm down 11 000 today. Uh, Mondays. So far this year, I've every Monday. So far this year has given me a total profit of fifteen thousand dollars.

read: a total loss of fifteen thousand. Um, so Mondays are just not my day. however. Uh, I did manage risk today by using smaller share size six thousand shares.

I still managed to lose ten thousand. Eleven thousand. So two dollars a share out of the market? That's not great, but I was trading higher price stocks. so it's going to happen.

And what I'm reminding myself of is the fact that it's much easier to recover from a 10 or 11 thousand dollar red day than a 30, 40, or 50 000 red day. So why not just stop here even though it's only 9 55 and say, you know what? I'll live to trade another day. It's it's easy to say. Well, yeah, it's 9 55.

There's gonna be lots more opportunities. I should keep trading. Yeah, well, but typically your best days don't start by you going deep in the red. So and in fact what is more likely to happen is that you start to get more and more frustrated and you start to fixate on recouping the losses.

And the next thing you know you are down. 50, 60, 70, 000. I've done it. so I'm gonna stop the bleeding right here.

Three red trades today. Three strikes. You're out. read: eleven thousand bucks.

I'll be back tomorrow. I hope that we'll see some better opportunities tomorrow. I I don't know that we will, but I'll I'll be hopeful that we do and just going to kind of try to lay low here. I was getting set up on my traveling trading station today and I did have some kind of like tech issues there.

Uh, this was a dry run getting ready to go away. So you know it's good that I kind of tested that out before I um, you know, was was on the road. so now I've gotta do some troubleshooting today. But anyways, that's it for me.

I I don't even know when the last time I had a green Monday was, but I'm red again today and I'm down eleven thousand. so I'm below my max loss, which I set at five thousand dollars.

Uh, I set it tight because I kind of felt like this just isn't the market for me to be aggressive and to keep that max loss loose. So I lost 1700 on Gsx on two trades. My first, uh, two trades on it were both losers. I tried to do First Candle to make a new high setup.

Um, right through this area and just two losses. so lost 1700 bucks on that. Those two trades bell rings. I wasn't looking anything on the Gap scanner.

There weren't any Gappers that looked good so I had nothing there that I was really looking at. Tcat I saw squeezing up right here and I jumped in it at 33 and then stopped out at 31.75 right here. so lost 9 000 on that. Which is kind of stupid, but it is what it is.

So 11 000 Red day, three losses max loss I'm done for the day. can't keep trading so no point in sitting and looking at the market. I mean, you know this isn't our it's a rule that I've created for myself to say I can't keep trading after a certain number of losses. but it's an important rule.

and it's how I keep the losses from getting bigger and bigger and bigger. and I don't always follow it. And when I don't follow it, inevitably, I end up with much bigger losses than are necessary. And that's exactly what happened last Monday.

I finished the week I finished the day down over fifty thousand dollars. I kept trading, I tried to go back and I just dug the hole deeper and deeper and deeper. So rather than do that, I'm just gonna say hey, I can recover from a ten thousand dollar eleven thousand dollar red day a lot faster than 40 or 50 000. So let's just stop it here and come back tomorrow.

If it was really a hot day, I wouldn't be down 11 000 at 9 45 anyways. so maybe something does end up moving later this morning. but realistically it just the odds are not super good. So I'm just gonna say hey, we'll just call it a day and live trade another day So I'll be back at it uh, tomorrow and hope to see some better opportunities.

I did have a couple nice days on Thursday and Friday was up 25 000 24 000 in those two days, but I've given it back. Well, given back half of it here today. So this is two steps forward. One step back.

Maybe I can get back to a couple more steps forward here going into Thursday and Friday. All right, that's it for me. Have a great rest of the day. I'll see you guys first thing tomorrow morning.
