In this video I explain how the stock market works. This is a concise beginners guide to the stock market. The stock market is a place where individual investors and retail traders like you and me can buy shares of oftentimes very large publicly traded companies. As fractional owners of these companies, we benefit if the stock price increases over time, and we can also be the beneficiary of dividends paid by the company.
You might ask yourself why do companies trade on the stock market and why would they want to share in the profits with investors. The reason is because when a company does it's initial public offering on the stock market they receive the proceeds from selling those shares. That allows the company to reinvest in future growth. If they are successful, the company will grow over time, however, if they are not successful, the company will decline in value.
Given the stock market is risky, you might ask yourself why anyone invests at all. The two primary reasons are the obvious potential for profit that outweighs risk, and to hedge against inflation.

All right. So on this one Just bought 15 000 shares of 217. This is a stock that had a pre-market high of 225 and I'm looking for the retest of that level. I'm looking for it to break 225 and squeeze up to 230.
Getting in early with a tighter stop, Adding at 22, 21, 22. Adding at 23 to anticipate the break of 25, there's the breakthrough 25. That's profit on the retest, add back on, the dip pops back up to 30. Profit at 30..
now looking for a move up to 32? 33, 34, 35. I'm able to take a little bit more profit off the table as it starts to slow down. Not the biggest breakout that we've ever seen. this is a trade condensed into one minute, but it actually took place over the course of about five minutes.
A very quick day trade on a stock that was the leading gainer in the entire market on that day. Remember, my results are not typical and there's no guarantee for success.
Ross this type of Shorts video is very good and useful tip thanks.
