What's up everyone? All right? Well, today's Day 38 of the Small Account Challenge. So this is now, uh, just about two trading months. you know, 20 trading days each month. So I've been doing this for a while.
The account is, uh, making slow progress, but it has grown for sure. Started about 4 300 sitting right now just under 20 000. Goal is 30 000. so I've got 10 000 before I hit the goal.
Excuse me, I'm yawning because this market is exhausting me. Um, it's gonna be very slow getting there at the rate that I've been trading last three days. Slow market, slow momentum. it'll pick up.
it always does. Had a couple of great weeks, made some great progress, then caught a couple of red days and now the market has cooled off a little bit so have to wait for things to heat back up. Over trading in low quality, poor quality markets is just going to produce losses, so got some small gains today leaving it at that level to trade another day. I'll be back at it on Monday for day 39, But remember, as always, my results are not typical.
The typical experience of a beginner trader is losing money, so take it slow trade a simulator before you put real money on the line. I'll see you guys all right. So I'm going to do my recap here for Day 38 of the Small Account Challenge finishing up about 450. Traded three stocks.
uh rklb. I traded early in the morning as it was squeezing up right here through third. uh, 2076 for that. Move Up to 2133 made 155 on it.
Net profit after fees and commissions. Nothing too exciting. Opad this one. I jumped in off the high day momentum scanner.
Uh, popped up a little bit, not that much. jumped right back out when he couldn't break over 12 and Dtst jumped in that off the high day momo scanner. Uh, break a 7, hit 7 16 couldn't hold. Today was kind of a choppy day.
We didn't have a lot of good momentum. Rklb sold off hard. Um, you know Isee was our leading Gapper, but very choppy red on that in my main account. No trades in the small account, so you know 450.
It's a small green day. Live to trade another day. I'd be back at it on Monday. Uh, Yesterday I was up a thousand, took one more trade in the afternoon, gave back half my profit, finished the day up only about 500..
So unfortunately gave back quite a bit of the gains yesterday from being up 2 600 or so at the high I just was stretching for that, you know, bigger trade, bigger day. couldn't get it so you know it is what it is. I'll get another big green day at some point here. it's just a matter of time.
I'm not being very patient waiting for it, but you know nothing else I can do. You know, if I chase low quality setups, I'm going to lose money and today kind of chase some low quality setups. I guess I made money, but with small size with big size, those become break-even trades or losses and it's not fun. Cei, We were talking about this one earlier in the week.
Um, or maybe it was last week. the break of a dollar. It's moving higher. I know it's good to see, but I just can't take the risk on it. So I'm shutting it down as a green day. Day 38. Be back at it on Monday for Day 39 And that right, there was an entire video with no ads. I don't monetize my Youtube channel with video ads, which means you guys get to enjoy the content.

Ross watch for CPI data scheduled to be released on September 14, 2021, at 8:30 A.M. Eastern Time. Could affect trading that day.

Question, how did you buy 3600 shares of RKLB when the average price today was $19? That's $68,400! I thought it was a small account. Are you using margin? If I remember correctly you said in one of your recent videos that you were not using margin in small account. Please clarify! Thank you!

Thank you Ross for the video recaps! I nearly always lose on Friday’s so I switched to the dark side and went short. Saw a good short setup on ISEE premarket and made 4% which is much better than my typical 5-10% losses for Friday. 😖 New strategy for me might be short Friday? 🤷♂️🤣
You need to wake up earlier to prepare for monday. Go to bed at same time of the kids, it will help. You want a green day this time. I have a new challenge for you. 21 straith green day. If you miss one, you have to start over. No other rules. No % or money goal. Possible?
