No surprise really, the drug had 0 proof that it might work and the only reason it was pushed to the front is because it helps fight trump since he was all about hydroxychloroquine but I very much expected the shares to fall soon once the drug is proven not to be anything special because it had even less evidence to work than hydroxychloroquine did and apparently neither work that well or at least we are still waiting for HCQ trials which don't seem super promising either.

I think we will be OK, yes $GILD had disappointments today, but there are 30 Firms in the space working on the virus, Covid 19.
A firm was recently awarded Millions from this government for research, and the Gates Foundation gave money to another firm. The army of companies with overseas help are looking at Cures, therapeutics, and finding current RX on the shelf drugs that might be used now. There was a story on NBC tonight about a company helping currently with a 6 month trial.

Shorting GILD tmw, and i feel like the impact that this is gonna make is another huge tank In the market.
Unemployment rates, earnings reports, no demand for oil, and no drug or sign that will cure the virus. Unless the gov has an unlimited amount of stimulus to crutch the market along until we have a cure, it will inevitable that we have another bottom.

I believe we are going to have a double bottom, and we are about to crash. This news is obviously not the total reason, but a little bad news is all this bearish market needs to be the straw that broke the camel's back. I'm selling off while I'm still ahead, and will buy back after the crash for some bargain basement deals.
