I think the Bank of England should make a few billion available to the average joe at 1.5% before they let the fat bankers make more money that will boost the economy very quickly
But saying that we have bought two properties in the last week and been in a bidding war on both of them also had one come up for rent and it went straight away just makes me think is this recession going to be as bad as they think it will be

Hi Thomas I think you have missed out one of the big problems with negative interest rates it completely screws savers people who have been frugal and have life savings cannot retire comfortably because inflation and no interest is a double edged sword It’s really unfair it’s great for young people like yourself who want to borrow to expand but it’s terrible for those who have saved?
