Hey everyone me kevin here and today we are going to confront andre on his home. I'm super excited to see it andre tell me about this place. I see a lot of military vehicles right across the street yeah and i see a viewing deck up there. What kind of neighborhood is this? It's a really interesting neighborhood with a lot of very interesting people that do a lot of very interesting things.
So my neighbor over here owns a rental company where he rents military vehicles, pretty cool. We have a lot of really interesting people, my neighbor next door, she's a bone doctor. What do you call that? I have no idea of that and this guy does youtube. So, let's go inside.
Let's go! Let's do it! This video is brought to you by my programs on real estate, investing property management and agent sales link down below with a coupon code, expiring october 29th. But first you have to tell us about this, because there is this metal frame here with some soft fabric and a machine of some sort up here. Oh my god. Well that does this is this: is his uh apocalypse shelter? It's my iron man thing no way! So we have these in uh, germany, you have like a rope on the inside that you can kind of like pull them up, or you kind of put your arm down and just kind of slides when you want to drop them down and they're great, because they're Great for storms, they're great for security, and you get different levels of light too, and the best part is in the summertime which in vegas is imperative.
Is when you put those down the sun doesn't beat on you so hard, and so you save money on running your ac. That's every window in this house has that which i was told is extremely expensive to do. I would have never done it myself, but it's pretty cool. My guess is just this front door was probably somewhere in the neighborhood of three to four thousand dollars yeah, but i have massive windows in there that each one has that window, which manual or automating automated.
Oh, my gosh, i think you probably have a hundred thousand dollars worth of upgrades and that alone that you probably paid 10 grand for that's true market value. That's true! That's a good deal right there. I like that already. This is.
This is good. Oh my gosh! This is stunning man. This is so cool. I remember so.
I have not seen the after of your your after videos. I purposely did not watch your after videos, but i did watch the before and i saw this exposed yeah and i'm like. I don't know andre, what are you getting yourself into this? Is this is not normal about this? It isn't normal. So a lot of people look at them.
They're, like why'd, you buy a warehouse, it's not a warehouse, it's just kind of an industrial style home and the goal of the remodel was to make it warmer and more homey, and so we changed a lot of it to be a little bit more traditional and So i don't know if you guys know restoration hardware, that's, like my favorite furniture store. I short that stock. So anyway, the goal was to remodel it, to look like that, and so that's kind of the result. But i love the exposed ceiling. Uh. Look because it has such high ceilings and i love the open concept just because it makes me feel like. I have freedom to roam around and i like that now you wouldn't mention that this is actually normal in the neighborhood yeah or you're, not the only one. That's like this, every single house on this street has exactly this: okay, okay, that's better! I like that.
A lot, that's great because - and you did make it look really nice, so did you paint the metal up here? No, this is exactly that's that came with wow. Okay, so then it's all the other things that you added that actually tie it in now. Yes, so let's get in let's get into this, so i want to know so you put on lucha, you can control all these on your phone bluetron yeah! That's really! Nice! Okay, by the way, if you want to do smart lighting, lutron is the best company, i'm not sponsor we're, not sponsored, there's no plugs. I'm just saying lutron is the best, because it is the most stable, automated flight thing in the world.
100. I've done five years ago, i rewired my entire house with this, like z-wave insteon, crap, yep horrible yeah. These are the way to go and something really cool. Is it - and i do this in rental properties now is sometimes we'll have light switches in really weird places and so we'll add a lutron light switch which has a like a five-year battery in it uh to a different location, no wires needed right and you can Switch a new light from a different location, yeah amazing.
I wish we should get sponsored by the way. This is one of my favorite features of the house, this wall, this. This came like that when i bought the house, so i know this was not cheap. I don't know how much this was.
I was going to ask you because this is floor to ceiling a lot of times when people do these sorts of things they go up to a certain height and they stop yeah. This is floor. To ceiling. That's way more square footage, and it's it's almost this entire length here until you get to it.
It looks like your family room here, that's, and so this was here. This was here, oh my god, and i think it adds to the warmth now. The other thing we're really focused on in the house is the kitchen, so this was the big remodel where i think i spent probably the most amount of money here, and this was the this island, this uh uh gosh. What do you call this? A waterfall of uh calcutta yeah, so it's non-porous.
So if i spill things here, it'll be fine. Like the coffee, i spilled yeah, that's fine! It's not like marble! So i'm looking at the metal here, it doesn't look like you had to move any walls up in the front here. Did you no? No, nothing! That's really nice! So you had this as sort of a a blank canvas yeah exactly do whatever you wanted. Exactly. That's incredible, and so it's all new cabinets, all new appliances, everything's new everything is new yeah, the whole kitchen was ripped out and this island was a completely different shape. Oh my gosh, okay. It was like this like rounded thing, and i was like: let's, let's make it a right angle: yeah just make it right when you walk in you. Have this whole surface like a male cheese bed, that's awesome, yeah, so uh.
How much did this cost you? Because, before you say, you've got two colors: you've got the the um gray style cabinet here with the brass hardware, which is really in right now super gorgeous, but then over here you've got that craftsman, style, white and the black. It's super nice. You carry the same counter: the soft clothes very nice, and this oh okay and the subway tile even went all the way up around your vent hood yeah. Actually, interestingly, that vent hood that i bought didn't go up all the way.
So it was three quarters of the way and because it was so tall, they had to custom mill that last steel piece and they put that in there, which was unfortunately more expensive than i liked for it to be. It was like dollars or a thousand dollars to do that, just for that upper portion just for that upper portion, which is so silly, but my favorite part, i will say, is: do you know what this is? It's your faucet. Let's go cause. They plummet to hot water, cool cold from the fridge.
This is a pot filler yeah, that's amazing! I love those. That's amazing good for you. That's super cool. Now.
How much did the pot filler cost you alone? The pot filler alone was 200 plus that's for the faucet itself, yeah yeah. Well, that's not bad plus around five to eight hundred dollars. I believe for the install for the water line. Well, i mean if you're gon na have a kitchen like this yeah yeah.
You should so, how much did this kitchen cost you, because at first of all, i want to say it's gorgeous, thank you, and can you give it to me without appliances, because you got a sub zero right there yeah and that right? There is how much i spend on the kitchen. This is true, kevin's, just like blaze, everything we're done we're done so the kitchen i want to say was about 45 000.. I'm honestly impressed okay and then appliances. On top of that on appliances.
I want to say another 20, 000., okay, okay, so 65k uh, and that includes all of the stone and the thailand. Yes, that's nice, because this kind of countertop alone, you probably spent everything here, what 12 grand just on the countertop, probably yeah, probably, but this is just such an amazing piece and it looks really good. Thank you. It's a really good job yeah, but from the front it looks really cool, because what we have here is this three inch thick, which normally, i believe, there's.
But the lip here is three and they did this really cool thing. Where uh, it's called the ship lap and it's just a fancy word for just saying, like you know, just wood panels, but this is a really great way by the way to make your house upgraded on like not that much money. It's really chip left yeah. It just looks: upgraded chip and joanna gaines will be proud uh. This is amazing. Thank you really good job. So uh did you run into any challenges in the kitchen. It looks like you've got a lot of pantry space.
You got endless. There is war space, one major challenge that i came across, which is when we redid the shape of the island. Underneath this there was this. You see this really really gray kind of concrete yeah.
They had to diamond cut that out around the island. Now i can't get it here, so my solution to that and i haven't - i don't - have enough rocks yet i need to buy one more bag, but we put this little cedar border around here, because this concrete paint is underneath this. So we put this river rock formation to cover that concrete, which is a different color than the floor that i have - and this was a really cheap way, because that diamond cut process around this area, which is so hard to get to, would be extremely expensive. So we're like, let's just cover it with something that just looks really pretty and you went with river rocks yeah incredible.
I really like i like that: a lot yeah, so on top of this you're saying with some kind of finished concrete here, yeah that they you had them grind away so, rather than like, pour over it or floor over it, you're like let's grind it down. Yes, okay, i love it. Yes, because it looks really good the way you have it now so uh. You actually have another floor under this.
You have a basement. I do this is amazing. Do you want to see upstairs or downstairs it's like a choose. Your own adventure choose your yeah uh wow.
Well, i want to know, what's in here, that's my garage and i i don't want to show it because it's a mess, all the boxes, that's what they're meant for two-car garage. There. You've got your kitchen here yeah and you have those automated uh yeah things yeah everywhere, yeah awesome, so we can come in and this is our dining room right here. We don't really use this space, but i like it.
This is a restoration hardware, dupe chandelier from house, so this this whoa, i like that, because house is way cheaper than restoration, yeah yeah. So this was only i want to say, like 800, whereas restoration hardware was like three grand, oh yeah. So this is not that this is our little concrete table. Wow.
Did you like this? No, we bought this yeah. I say that one of the reasons i like like if i were to invest in restoration hardware. The reason i would is because they know how to rip people off, so this is brilliant 800. Would you call it a restoration hardware dupe yes, dude, that's brilliant, there's full youtube channels that are dedicated to showing you where to get dupes. Oh, my gosh, that's very smart. I've studied those. I like that this is alexa. Oh no, i'm just kidding, but she doesn't talk to me.
You should build or like stick an alexa right here. That would be crazy. That'd be hilarious. All right, great idea, all right.
So this is also a dupe from restoration hardware and the number one comment on my video was like: where did you get this sofa andre, and this is a cloud couch dupe so in restoration hardware, this would cost like eighteen thousand dollars. You just wan na jump on it. Please do go right there in the corner. Go ahead! Three! Two one! That's amazing! It's just thank you.
So what honestly, what i really love when right, when i come in, is at first, i didn't love the metal, but now with how you've warmed it up. I really like it because it opens it up so well, yeah see on a normal, traditional home. I feel like you'd, have to remove walls to get this kind of open, feeling right and it'd be a disaster uh. How was dealing with the city or did you have to we didn't have to? No? There was no permanent request, see anyway.
That's what this looks. Like this whole entire wall, at night, we have movie nights. So this whole entire wall is a projector and this bose speaker sound system came with the house, which was awesome. It didn't change anything.
This is as it came, and you had a prior owner who spent money like crazy. We had, which is so great. We had two private owners that dropped insane amounts of money on this house. One of the guys that used to live here, the guy before i bought from him was, i don't want to say his name, but he's a very famous host for a ghost hunter series.
He used to live here and he decked out this house, and he added this wall and like just a ton of stuff, see like that's. One of the people you want to buy at home from is not the do-it-yourselfer, but the guy who's got so much money that they will spend a ridiculous amount of money to have something perfect right. If you see those shutters coming, it's like right away. That's a deal because you're getting it for pennies right right.
Yes, i love it yeah, let's see what happens. Let's go see the bedrooms real, quick. Yes, so my girlfriend corey her dad. He helped us a lot with the house.
Yes, and one of the things he did for us was so this is a guest bedroom right here you have such cool things. Oh, why do i not have cool things like this? Look at that the original iphone. This is the iphone one. Oh, my gosh - and this is the game boy color.
This is the exact one. I have game the purple one yeah, so this is awesome right here behind us is a shared bathroom between these two bedrooms. That's did nothing to the bathroom like nothing. This is how it came: okay, um.
This is incredible. What is this blacked out? Glass? I don't know what it is. It is because i thought the tile was black and i'm like wait a minute. It's not yeah! It's just blacked out glass. I've never seen that before, which is really cool, because you can't see like really the water spots unless you get like close to it all right like that's, usually why people don't like glass. This is cool like a white kid yeah. So this right here is something corey's dad did for us, which is this wall again. This is the stone wall, which was.
This was three hundred dollars from home depot. It was about a thousand dollars to put in here and he cut around and he just made this beautiful wall and also more artwork. Oh, my god, you almost have all the iphones yeah yeah five four 3g, which was iphone 2. Yes, oh my gosh, the six! Seven yeah we got the ten up there.
Oh my gosh yeah wait. How much did those cost you, those cost? 200 a piece no way? Yes, this looks like something that would cost exactly. Oh man, it's so easy to get a good look for cheap, and this is these are. This is a manual one.
This is a rolling manual one, but on top of that we have these installed just for privacy. In case you know you just you know you don't want to put the metal one down, but yeah. That's incredible. Can i do it yeah yeah, but it's pretty heavy, so be careful yeah.
Let's give it a little. Thank you from here yeah. That's our! Oh! The old style is just kind of holding it like this yeah. Oh, that's, amazing.
It's beefy right! I love it yeah and look at i mean you are in a bunker now yeah a little bit of light there you go. I love it. Oh that's amazing, perfect! Very good quality yeah good job. This is our little guest bedroom.
So if anybody stays here, that's that's their room and they added a closet over here. Oh my gosh, there's one more thing: yeah, so the guy who's, the host. I guess he put a not a podcast room but like a voice, i guess sound recorder for you for audio. Oh, my god um.
This just is just a room. That's completely sound proofed and it's a tiny little closet, but it's a sound. It's incredible in case you wan na do voiceovers yeah they've even got the threshold on the floor, so it seals nice and tight yeah. It's amazing wow, okay, yeah! Let's keep going let's see, and then you have another guest room over here.
Yes, so the other guest room is exactly like that one, but it's decorated differently. Um my roommate lives in here no worries. How much are you ready for? Can you say it? I am charging him 600 a month. Oh that's awesome! So that helps pay the payment.
What's your payment, my payment yeah, it's paid off paid cash, which was not smart, but you could always refine it, but i could always refinance later and i just i couldn't get approved in time, so i just didn't want to deal with it and i knew i Wanted this house - because i looked at this house not like in the community but this specific house in 2014. - oh my god and i couldn't afford it at the time - well see now you can uh. When you find out taxes, you can refinance get like a three percent right, put it all in bitcoin, exactly yes, yellow did you did you do the doors uh? No, it came like that. These are incredible doors for them coming this way, and so you would imagine just in the heart we just did the hardware yeah, it's just an easy, easy upgrade yeah! That's amazing! I do that in every rental property, new hardware, simple yeah - this is very nice. Let's go upstairs: let's do it all right, so the rail was here and it kind of goes with the the industrial yeah. I had somebody reach out to me and say andre. You need to complete the look and change the railing and i gave him some examples, but he he was just a metal worker and i didn't want to change the metal look because i don't want to make it look more industrial right. I, like a wood, warm color and just a warm tone and right now the white kind of blends in it.
Just i don't really notice it. It disappears. It's good yeah, it's perfect, so metal staircase. This is cool.
I have. I don't know that i've seen a metal staircase inside of a home, but it works. It comes wow. This is insane, i'm just blown away like there's so much space yeah and it's all open.
That's see. Whoever designed these was brilliant because they really just carried the weight of these properties from the front to the back to where inside you could just have whatever right. It was just a blank canvas, and so we changed the floors, so this is lvt, so it's gory. So this is luxury vinyl tile, so this is also waterproof um and it's like nine inch wide this.
I love this color. It's very warm. It's very, very good, color beachy vibe! This is exactly what i would use. I love this good good super cool, nice yeah, and so this is the master.
Yes, no. This is a den. This is our denim hangout area. So when we bought the house, this whole wall was not here.
So that's what we created so this wall right here. This railing went all the way through and it was like a right angle. Okay, so we added this wall, this wall and this entire aluminum. It's called critter style divider.
How much did this? This was very expensive yeah, because these doors alone look like. I would guess just these two doors, not even the whole frame. These are probably at least six to seven thousand dollar doors. Uh this whole frame, twenty twenty five, so that the whole plus, then you got ta, build it out too.
What do you call that? The the anyway that stuff, your headers up here, yeah yeah because they came through so we had to put something solid there to soundproof that so and to mount the the divider on. So this cost 24. 000.. Oh, i was close.
Oh dang, that's amazing! Very, very nice, so then this is also uh. Is it a dual pane? No, it's it's a single! I don't know that you needed a really a jewel, but this is but it it's on a. I guess a little soft closed. So it doesn't need to really be a double painted thing: it's and then you have a curtain. This is sort of just the aesthetic on the side. Well, we wanted some privacy right. So this is the uh owner's bedroom right here, and this is what we did. Oh, my goodness, so this this is a king-sized bed.
It doesn't look like it corey and i was so large. It wasn't corey and i lived on a queen-size bed for years for over six years, and then we saw this bed. It was like, but that's a queen and it's not it's a king-sized bed, but you can't tell in this room because this room is so big. We have the same headboard.
Do it really yeah wow? In fact, when i got my hair dyed, i was i was caught myself leaning up against it, i'm like i'm gon na turn. It green, oh, no great minds. Think like me, yeah this is uh. This is a chandelier from wayfair for a hundred dollars, no way with the led spirals too yeah.
I don't believe you. How do you find these things very? The best? It's amazing good job lauren does furniture. I don't do any of that yeah target way fair. These are great places yeah, it's the best way, fair stock that whole set of furniture that was under a thousand dollars from target target's.
So good people don't underestimate how good target furniture is amazing. Yes, i'm glad you're shopping there yeah. I was worried. You're like every piece was gon na be illustration hardware.
No, no. This is cause studio, mcgee collection, it's amazing, it's so good, yeah wow. So how long do you plan to live here because you've really made this perfect well for me yeah. I did uh, i don't know for the first time yeah this is, i love it, but so this is, i think, the best part of this room is this wow, the bathroom right here.
So that's. This is awesome yeah. This is the buckley design as well. We got the river rock here.
The tub is in the shower yeah in the glass, so the most expensive part, the most expensive was this pane of glass right here, but yeah, it's a single piece. They weren't sure if they could even get this inside the house. Just because of how big this glass is it's like, do you want two panes of glass or one, and i think they would have had the line yeah, but then the line? I was like. No, i'm gon na splurge on a single right here.
Okay, i got ta know this pane of glass. I mean four grand, no more, no way double that, oh, my god, that's nine! Nine grand for the nonsense for this painted glass yeah just to not have the line just to not have that life. Let's go dumb! Money, no i'm sorry so, but this is genius that you have this. I i really actually like the tub in here, because most people have the tub separate and they never use the tub right.
But now it's just like we use it every day as well, because you could just do both it's like you're in your steam room. Well, what's nice is you know how sometimes you get in the bathtub and you kind of feel dirty? It's a shower first, but you have to get out and fill the tub, and this way you could just rinse off and then just use it and it's and we use it every day. That's incredible! So are there uh drains? There must be drains under here as well. Yes, so you could like have squirt fights of yeah shower and lash around and do anything yeah. This is very cool. Yeah uh! I don't know if that one little exhaust there is gon na cut it for how streamy this probably gets. Actually it doesn't get steamy at all. It's just so long, it's just because it's so open, yeah wow, that's true.
I mean this is the size of a bed. This is the size of my office. Yes, it is, it is been in it where kevin films is that size, i'm not exaggerating. Oh yeah gosh.
Well, i i feel horrible about myself now. So if that was nine grand for the pain of glass, this entire uh set up here must have been uh. 30. 35.
20.. What how if you spent nine on that piece of glass, there's no way the shower pan? It was about 20 to 25. I don't know off the top 25. wow.
I'm just really impressed it's expensive because it looks way more. But tell me this. The value that you get for the house and where you should spend the most money on a remodel is the kitchen and the basket. The bathroom right and the bed, it's once you get past paint and carpet, but primary bedroom.
Yes, yes, it is where you get most of the return which i'm not saying. I'm gon na get a return on this, but so what did you pay for it? For what the house entirely? Yes, seven hundred thirty thousand seven thirty, and how much did you spend in total for the remodel? Yes, one, fifty one, that's not bad! That's under a million this whole thing for the amount of beautiful things that y'all have done yeah. It feels way more custom for sure now how much time did it take y'all to plan this, because there's some really good detail that went into this. We bought this in february thinking that we would be ready to move in by april okay, and we didn't move in until last month - whoa, okay, so it took four or five months for us to finish this and it's because of code supply chain issues.
Everyone was ah just it wasn't getting done. I mean honestly, not that horrible uh i mean just you you're, four or five months. I mean some people get caught up in permits longer than that right, they're sitting on paperwork. I will say i learned so much as far as dealing with contractors and that business is so sketchy, oh poor, because the contractor that i was paying wasn't paying his subcontractors.
Oh, my god, and they wouldn't come in and they wouldn't do anything, and so what i learned is. I should pay the subcontractors directly and give the contractor his fee at the end and not let him be the money juggler because contractors, as you know, they just juggle money from house to house sure and sometimes they end up short, and so you end up suffering. Well, what you have in california just show how litigious things have gotten for this is they will actually uh make the any sub who walks into the house sign a lien release, saying that they've been paid by the contractor before they can even get work? So that way, the sub can't lean up your place right, because if the sub doesn't get paid by your contractor, it's not their problem. It's your problem because they can lean up your house exactly. It's called a mechanics lien it sucks, but you got through it. I got through it: okay, i'm sorry to deal with the stress of that guy, but anyway, so they come on in - and this is the closet here which is actually bigger than any of the guest bedrooms. We don't need it to be that size, don't tell anyone. It just is that big, but this is the closet right here.
This is definitely two of my studios. This is two of yeah kevin's studios, i'm just blown away, i mean the functionality of your house is. Is this is 10x? What i was expecting right, because i think you got so much value out of the things the decisions you made. You spend money like you said, kitchen's bath, but you saved money where you should on light fixtures and furniture, and i imagine rugs or other things, because you shopped well right.
So what got like? How did you know where to shop just youtube yeah? Oh my gosh! There are incredible youtubers who do restoration, hardware, dupes design, and i i kid you not watch those youtubers for a month. Wow, like just i did homework and i just became a designer and i was like okay, i kind of get the language of contrast of design of staging of all this stuff, and it's not that difficult to recreate. Did you do it or a quarry or together? I was kind of running all the decisions by cory. I was like corey.
What do you think about this and she would say i like this, but mostly it was just me obsessing dozens of hours on youtube. That's incredible, see that's a lot of people. They they talk smack about youtube before they actually use it right. You know, but like youtube, is so incredible the stuff that you can learn the perspective.
You can get so good job man yeah, so we put a door right here on the closet so because it's kind of a long walk to go all the way around. This thing was a part of the extension of these shelves, and so we removed this middle section and we put a door so that in case you forget something you can just come out here and now you're in the den and now you can just come here And now we can go downstairs and now we go downstairs. What's in your vault room, my vault, oh, that room, that's secret stuff. So this is the play area right here.
This is our theater right here, movie theater for one this is incredible. Okay, you got ta. Tell me about this: this is like a car converted to bench, yeah, that's so cool! So what is this thing, and where did you get how many tens of thousands of dollars this was 800 shut up? People spend eight hundred dollars on just a generic couch at target yeah and you're telling me this fancy thing here. It is 800. I don't remember the website, but i could give it to you later, but it was a really cool deal. I'm just gon na sit here and do this because it feels really cool. Look at that giant bean bag, though it's bigger than grams okay, we've got the big orange one. This is like twice as big, but here's what's interesting as with many things at andre's place.
Here's what's interesting: the pool table came with the house. The shuffleboard table came with the house, the tv with the audio came with the house um. You got so many good upgrades for freebies yeah yeah, it's incredible so by the way this furniture out here was supposed to be in the backyard right here, but we're remodeling. The floor, oh, you can ship it all out.
Yeah we're gon na chip it out and put some white tile like it is upstairs, which i'll show you but uh. Do you want to see this on? You have a sauna. This is this is where the podcast is going to happen in the song in the song inspired by the hot ones. It's going to be the steam room with andre.
It's all going to get filmed in there. It's going to be called sweat talk. Every question gets hotter and hotter turn up a degree, every question yeah, so this is uh tory's dad built this for us as well. Oh my gosh wait! So oh it's hot here, yeah actually he's actually getting gon na get him a sauna.
Before you came and you're like i'm coming, i was like all right, never mind, so you just keep it on. Oh you just turned it on. I just turned it off when you came. Oh gotcha, okay, this is amazing.
Uh cedar lined it's beautiful yeah. So your dad out of this cory's dad did this yeah just like how did you think i'm gon na add a sauna in this we had this extras closet space, which i didn't need because there's another one like it. That's even bigger right there. So, let's just put a sauna yeah, let's just put a sauna, because i'm russian and i can't help myself - there was a giant water fountain right here which we took out.
I didn't need it. I just want a flat plain like just i'm impressed man. I thought i was going to be able to get angry at you, but i'm and this you got like how much for this traffic light. It was a lot.
It was 800. That's not a lot for what it is. That's a real! That's, a real! That's what i'm saying it's like amazing yeah like i would expect this to be like one of those five grand art pieces right right, no, that's from a vintage shop that just sells antiques! Oh my god! This is an etsy bar, which i got from etsy, which is the coolest thing ever. It is so cool. How much was this? This was a 150 dollars. He is a good shopper that is really impressive. Yeah, like i'm, losing my voice over how excited i'm getting out of these shopping deals. Yeah.
You could create a whole channel about how you got these deals. Yeah, i'm really frugal when it comes to shopping and i will which is not cool because i probably spend more money than it would just take me to just work and get the extra money to buy the real thing. No. But i will go obsessively over just where can i get the ten percent discount yeah? It's it's just it's painful to spend like why spend four or five grand on that traffic light if you can get it for eight right, you know like that's and that's money that you're it's like a few videos that you don't have to make exactly exactly.
You know so me: on the other hand, i got ta make six videos a day this this this room is a full shower full bath. So this right here is a full bathroom. Nice didn't do anything here. This is how it came so downstairs.
I come here in the mornings i get ready and then i start to shoot my videos, which i shoot right here. Oh my gosh. What is this handle holy smokes? That is very nice. My secret bookshelf opener, which came with the house.
That's another upgrade no yeah. I didn't do anything. This came with a house. You see good man, oh i'm, going through a charizard car on the floor.
How much was the charizard rock? Was a hundred dollars? Hey there's a lot, that's not a lot for what it's so good. Oh my gosh! It's brilliant, brilliant, oh my gosh, so this is the studio wow. This is where we film. So this is your new set yeah.
So this is my first set right here. Oh, my goodness, so this is where i'll film, the camera will be right here and that's the classic setup, where you start your magic trick where i start my magic trick right here, yep and then this right here is the second set we're actually the third set, Which i've never utilized yet i want to utilize it. I don't know how okay, how much was this? This was free, yeah, normally this retails for ten thousand dollars. This is the most painful walkthrough i've ever done, because you were so good at getting these things.
Thank you uh, like graham, can't hold a candle to you in terms of the deals you're getting on this stuff. Don't tell myself we're putting that in the video, so this is a thing i did as a trade. So when i was broke, i was a really talented videographer and i traded services with an artist that did this and i said, hey i'll, do videos for your art. I loved your art pieces.
I can't afford this ten thousand dollar table and he's like hey i'll. Give it to you, if you can make me a couple videos and that's what we did. That's brilliant yeah, and i just i love it. I've had this for for over 10 years now, this table wow keep this forever.
This is so cool yeah. If your door is it's all made out of wood, this is all made out of this. Wait the gears everything no way, the only thing. That's not are these rivets right here, the metal wow, but everything else is wood. I'm impressed away yeah they like twist and turn it's pretty cool wow, and so you have pokemon. Oh you got ta see this if you're a pokemon nerd. Oh my gosh. This is a 10 base set star.
So this is a uh nine uh. So this is actually nine unopened ones and they're all heavy. So if you open one guaranteed holographic card from 1998, which is pretty cool but uh, i i've we could do a whole nother video about my pokemon collection, because you saw i just recently bought that collection. Uh he opens up a kitchen drawer, which says we put our bags down and just charizards come falling out of the drawer like what, if you guys, have a random kitchen drawer too.
It's like, what's in the other one, if you guys are fans of now, you see me by the way. This right here is the hero card from the second movie. What that, basically, the card that like can control the world essentially, so i consulted on that movie in 2014, which was really cool. It was like the highlight of my life.
Then my life went downhill after that yeah right. Oh my gosh, good job man. What a set wow three sets in here? No, do you have air conditioning? I don't i found something he did wrong. Yes, i, but he freezes to death in my studio.
It's not a studio. It's just a really large fridge. It's a really large freezer. Thank you.
He keeps it at like. I want to say, 60 right, it's like 60 in there yeah i get like sniffles in the first few minutes of being there, because it's just so cold but yeah. That's the second set right there and by the way, cory's dad also did this whole wall. So that's one of the things we upgraded is this wall, so this entire wall cost me two thousand dollars.
Oh, my gosh, if you paid a contract for this it'd, be like 15 grand no way yeah, it's a big. They charge you that it's a big wall yeah, it wouldn't cost them 15 grand, but they charge you right right right by the way, if you're trying to do a studio, the biggest thing i found for sound dampening because this was so echoey yeah. We put these um panels right here because i thought that would dampen the sound and make it not less, not echoey yeah, but it was the carpet that solved it thick pad carpet here yeah. That's amazing that that's what makes the audio sound good! It sounds excellent, and what does this fancy like lighting charge? These are called nano led lights, so i really like them, so you can puzzle them together, yeah any shape.
You want. Oh, my gosh. How much are they they're kind of expensive? I want to say they're, like 150 dollars, for that wow. Okay, that's expensive for like for what it is, that's expensive, but for the little.
But it's a write-off. It's a studio, it's part of my business, so it just looks. I mean this whole property. Is your studio yeah, i'm actually expensing most of it. You should. I mean the amount of tours and videos you've made out of it. Absolutely it makes sense, absolutely yeah, so uh that set is for just like so sometimes you're there yeah. So i will shoot half my videos here and the other half right here next to these shoes, yeah and what's really cool is because i'm here and there's no natural light.
I solved it with a magic trick, because this right here does not work. Wait. Let me plug it in yeah, always plug it in first, all right so check this out, so this is bouncing off of that mirror through here to create an artificial window. So when i'm sitting, it looks like i've got sunlight and it just looks really nice, because when i turn the rest of the lights on it just give me some hair light.
Let's see all right! Well, that's not working right now when i needed to anyway got some hair light, got my camera and it just looks really nice with the with the window light you - and you have this incredible rack here that is holding a mirror. Oh my gosh, it's a mirror! It is really in here so one key lighting technique is just to reflect light off of shiny surfaces, because that's what sunlight does in natural light. It reflects off of surfaces anyway. It's a cool little great job, yeah, very cool okay.
So what did i miss? Because you i mean, with the exception of these shoes, what's the story with these shoes? Oh, i was given these from somebody who owns a shoe shop and they were like hey. Could you just give me a shout out, and this is from the back to the future? Oh my gosh, i'm just embarrassed. This is so nice and then you just got this. I did no.
I had this. I bought this originally for two grand and i think at the peak they were like selling for, like eight, i think, graham bought his for like four he copied me. I was first, oh that this is what graham has in the hallway. Oh, but you also just bought a big pack.
Yes, so i have like a whole crazy set there. So you have more that's another video, that's my alternative investment yellow thing, which could be a separate video. That's amazing, yeah, and this by the way i put here. Just to cover my electric fuse box, because, oh smart - i just don't like that - look, and this is what that hinge in that's brilliant where's, that yeah she's good he's good wow i mean most people would just put a hook there right.
He also. He also did one more thing i haven't shown: yeah outside outside the sauna, showed it oh yeah. Oh, you did yeah so nice. It looks professionally done everything.
What did he do for a living? He? He was a handyman he's a real estate agent, very impressive. In case, you want the knowledge that i have in real estate as well. You will not be disappointed. They come with private live streams as well. Take a look at the programs for all the details linked below the only thing i'll say i splurged in here that was not smart purchase was this kind of centerpiece here, which was by an artist, oh, my god, and it kind of like it. Just it's a halo light and it's a little art piece that i probably spent more money than i should have, but it's going to end up being like 150 dollars. This was three grand okay.
So there's one thing in your house that you spend a lot of yeah relative yeah. Oh my gosh uh! Okay. What if i missed, because this is so impressive - i think you've done a phenomenal job. I actually think for 150 grand you did a three to four hundred thousand dollar renovation, really renovation and staging job combined.
If you hired a designer to do this, 400k wow good job. Oh thank you appreciate it. Yeah! That's there is. There are parts of this house that have secret doors and rooms that i haven't shown that i don't want shown because it's like my secret area, wow.
There are no more secrets, so you i mean, because you showed me: a secret, sound booth, a secret sauna, a secret library, yeah and now you're telling me there are even more secrets. There are more wow, oh yeah, okay, all right! Let's do it all right! So we're here in the backyard - and i see these massive motors on these windows for these huge windows here, both up and down yeah, including this little door. You weren't kidding that every single thing it's crazy, i'm blown away. I mean that that alone makes this like an under market deal yeah.
This is so incredible, so this is what we switched right here. This was kind of old. If you look down, i don't know if you can pan down or not, but there's this stone that that's what was here, which we changed, which we're changing down there as well. This is actually porcelain and it's probably the most expensive thing in this backyard, including that cedar back wall right there.
This accent wall. This is gorgeous and nobody's got to come mow back here, because you've got the grass it's smart here in vegas, you've got it. You see it just gets hotter, it gets so hot everything dies yeah. So this is nice and we added these little squares here, which i think look cool, absolutely yeah beautiful.
This is really and you've got the led lights over here yeah, we got a little distro lights at night. We got the little u-pines right there on the side and we got lemon trees right there. Two lemon trees - and i think this is the coolest part - is like this cedar back it is it takes away that because i imagine it was this block, it was that block here yeah this really classes it up, because when you walk inside you see it, you See it from the out from the inside of the outside, and it's just like wow, you get that warmy home to grass to a nice wood panel. Look! Yes, you get that sort of vista! Look through yeah good job! Thank you! That's the backyard! Let's go downstairs! All right, if you have not yet make sure to subscribe to andre ed j-i-k-h, it's the first time someone's pronounced my name right boom thanks man. Thanks for having me.
Thanks guys. Twas fun. Kinda wish I was there to ask some questions.

Uh, "orthopedic surgeon," or orthopod for short. The Brits spell it "orthopaedic." Some American surgeons have adopted this spelling as a affectation, cause they wanna be fancy. Rothman Institute of Orthopaedics, for instance. Great docs, my orthopod docs, at Rothman.
I've absolutely so enjoyed watching you, Kevin and Graham the past few years. Thank you! And congrats on the BEAUTIFUL asset!!!!
No one cared abut the sound…. Thanks for the upload.
