What's up everyone? All right? Well, today is day three. Trading in the bus. Uh, trading the big account today up 9 400. No trades in the small account.
It was kind of nothing I was really crazy about. It was a choppy day. Yes, there was some momentum, I got some profit, but it wasn't easy. so I'm gonna break it down during the recap.
I hope you guys enjoy it. As always questions, comments, leave them down below. And in case you didn't already know, trading is risky. Most beginner traders lose money.
You should trade in a simulator before you ever put real money on the line. I don't want you to assume that my results are typical. Don't try to blindly follow me or anyone else. Take your time study, study, study, and practice in that simulator.
All right, it's getting hot in here so I'm going to get out and I'll see you first thing tomorrow morning. All right everyone. So a quick recap today Thursday, July 15th and pretty choppy. I'm up 9466 dollars, but uh, it was a choppy day.
False break out of the V wap right there. seeing a lot of false breakouts today, carve popping up, dropping down Mitq, popping up, dropping down Sgoc. say oops Sgoc. same thing there.
just not a lot of follow-through And I think the problem today is that there were a lot of different stocks that were moving, but none were really obvious. So I got green on Dtss. I actually made 9000 then gave back 3 000 off the top. so you know that's that's not a big deal, but um, it was.
You know you could just see how. this one on the daily chart didn't make a lot of sense to me, but you know, one just seemed seemed like it wanted to bounce up. So I thought, all right I'll give it a shot, but it feels like today a lot of uh, bull traps so stocks that pop up. You jump in thinking they're going to go higher and then the bottom falls out and they drop.
And a good example of that is this candle on Ahpi right here. Look at that so it breaks 720. It goes up to a high of 777 or so and then in one candle drops all the way back down to 684. So those rug pulls are not fun and I was in a couple of them today.
I was A I averaged down and was able to get back out some of them for smaller losses or even break even. but I don't like to get into doing that so this is my cue to hit the road and call it a day. So 9466 dollars, green on three out of five stocks. Choppy morning.
But Green is good. And you know some days are easier than others. That's just the way it goes. Trading, obviously in general is risky and difficult, but within that kind of spectrum of trading as a whole is hard.
Some days are going to be more difficult than others, and today was a more difficult day. So managing the risk and throwing in the towel here before I over trade and then end up um, you know, being disappointed because I pushed my luck, So I think that's that's the right approach here for today. So very quick recap. Not much to break down, but uh, I'll be back at it tomorrow Friday and hope for maybe a little bit of a better day to finish the week. All right, that's it for me. the last few days have been garbage. In the last three days ive only traded xelea twice. My dumbass tried to use a mental stop loss though and lost all profits.

Very choppy today, AMC spiking all over The place. Very good for My trading style, but risk is definetly increasing last couple Of days.
Ugh yeah it was a bad day for my tests today. Didn't find a single stock that followed my set up. Trying to find new set ups, but days like this make it rough.
Knowing when to walk away is part of the skill of trading. That's why Ross is still a Warrior Trading, not a warrior who used to trade. 🙂
Ross, you are the man. So likable and a great educator. I started following mid April…studied for about five weeks and started paper trading on Think or Swim May 20 using TradingView charts (iPad /iPhone at the Architecture office where I work.) My “cash vehicle” (right word?) has grown 50% since then….I intend to go live once I recoup the losses I made in two days when I switched to a funded “live data 🙄🙄” Td ameritrade account. Ive done this based on the info you give for free. My first goal will be to make enough to buy your course,

Ross I have been diligently following you for about 2-3 years here on YouTube. It would be an understatement that you are great at capitalising off of the frontside, yet I still wonder why you have not considered shorting weakness on the backside.

Nothing obvious today, so it turned into throwback Thursday with lots of previous gappers shooting up into bull traps. Went green premarket into the open on DTSS and did not see anything worth trading after that. MITQ almost sucked me in when it halted but it to was a trap.
Yess very choppy VERY and DTSS both went from green to red for me today.

Hey Ross, Professional PC repair guy here; probably don't need to say this, but DO NOT leave your equipment in the bus when it's 90+ degrees outside. You can easily cook your system and it can also damage your screens. Just pack up into the house (or at least not in a metal box in the sun) during the hot part of the day and you'll be fine.
I had 3 losses and walked away. Pretty content still, I stuck to my rules, had 3 losers, each well under my max loss per trade, and walked away when my rules say I should. Of course I feel like I shouldn't have traded today now, but I'm still green on the week and everything is going according to plan. I already hit my target for the month!!
Was up 20% this week until today gave back some profits but learned a great lesson in risk management on choppy days like today. 8am I saw enough and cut it short today. I had a feeling Ross found away to walk away with profits 🤑 nice job Ross!
