I think the best strat is to constantly look at the phase 3 vaccine trials. Once a successful vaccine is made, airlines will more reliably rise.

Nice video Ricky! But keep in mind that the airline industry wont ever get back to the old levels in the next 5 years if not forever in my opinion.. Alot of the business trips will be skipped in the future even when corona is completly gone

I am dropping thumbs up down here Ricky! You mention about Airlines: as an example to say that; I bought UAL when it was $21, since then in the middle it went up to almost $50, but since then just vibrating…. Right now is the lowest so far… But as you said holding it for the next 5 years until it reach the resistance, I ask myself does it worth it to let sit the money up to there? And at least none of them has offering dividend!
I work for United and damn… if you don’t got United stock you might wanna lock some in because here at lax we are building another terminal.. 8 for wide body plans. United paid a billion to get it build and it’s almost ready.!just FYI cause you didn’t even talk about United smh

Airlines broke trust with the public by saying they would leave the middle seat open and then broke their word. Many people got on a flight to find it solid seated. This hurts flyer's confidence which hurts business and the stock price. It wouldn't be safe for sometime even if they vaccinations come out it will take time to sort out their effectiveness on a large scale.Since trial 3 success only means next that the final experiment can take place mass inoculations which is the shake down run. This feedback goes into fine tuning the vaccination formulation to obtain less side effects and increase reliability for the round of vaccinations. You should note since the development time is so short its not known for sure the length of time this vaccination will be effect for six months or years? Since it take years and still takes years to do it. The vaccinations will be only around 40% average to maybe, a big maybe 60% average effective. So that will take time to sort out. That means for a person with 40% effective it takes time to have enough other people around vaccinated to cover statistically gaps for each other. It will take some many months to deploy the vaccination to at least 70% vaccinated to achieve some resemblance to herd immunity. This denies statistically enough people it doesn't have to be everyone, by proximity that it needs to move and survive. Right now herd immunity can't be achieve without a vaccinations. The cruse lines will be able to manage the safety factors much more effectively as that has to do with layout and social distancing can't be done on a plane. Thanks!
