Let’s talk about the Airbnb IPO. In a couple of days ABNB will offer 52 million shares at $45 to $50 dollars per share. Airbnb is one of the year’s most anticipated public listings, and in this video I will tell you everything you need to know about this company and mainly is it worth the $5 billion dollar valuation they are asking for? ABNB was severely impacted by the pandemic, and saw a 39% reduction in activity, mainly due to pandemic effects, but with or without the pandemic, it is still not consistently profitable, so is this IPO a bad idea or an opportunity?

Closed at $144 yesterday… I was looking to invest, but this is too much! I closed a few TSLA positions to have the cash to invest… but now somewhat regret this move :-/ If TSLA drops below 500 I will put it in TSLA again.
Hey Tom, thanks for the great content! I disagree that AirBnb is not harming anybody. In my view they are the prime reason why a lot of cities are running out of affordable rentals for actual residents. Most homeowners realize it's more profitable to rent out on Airbnb and repurpose their properties exclusively for tourism, thereby pushing rent prices through the roof. The quality of properties is also going down since short-term rentals don't require the quality you would need to actually live in it. I think if there's one thing we learned this year is that the previous amount of global traveling is unsustainable, causing problems like quick spread of viruses, rent prices going up, etc. This is just an aside from the investment discussion obviously. Looks like they will do well despite the mentioned issues. Keep up the great stuff my man, thanks for everything!

Thanks for the video, this time you don't repeat yourself but your numbers are wrong. They have 700m shares outstanding and they are going public at 68$, meaning they are 50% overpriced compared to your fair price estimate.
