Thanks Ross. I really needed this. I have been scalping NQ in a paper account for the last 30 days. My plan was to get 30 days in and go live. After 20+ days it was looking incredible. I was actually getting over 100 trades in a day (just as practice), and I was around 70% wins, with minimal losses. They week before my go live date, it fell apart. Losses ran away on past winning setups. Volatility was so fast I had to stop trading the open since I could not get stops in fast enough to prevent big losses. Frustration started to set in but I am pulling back, paper trading the open and taking small trades as the market slows down. I think I have a big enough sample size to know it works, but not is such fast markets. Thanks again

Hi Ross, Do you have any idea any brokerage have hidden orders for option trading, lightspeed does not have hidden order for option whereas ibkr have hidden order, but the execution is really bad. always miss my order being filled despite i buy at higher price (hidden). if any other person knew too, please update, many thanks

Ross I really hope you get back to making 5 figures a day and know you will but you can't imagine how valuable the last couple days videos have been. Trading is such a mentally heavy task and it's great to see how you deal with losses because we've all been there, lol some of us way more than others 😅 in the last couple weeks I've lost 75% of my account but I'm taking it very slow and trying to focus on my emotional state and confidence. Thank you for such helpful content.

When you have a big loss and feel emotionally compromised, the best thing to do is shut off the PC and walk away. Come back tomorrow and start fresh. The market isn't going anywhere.

How can we watch your full live trading day? I always watch in the morning and it gets cutoff at market open. Is that explained/linked somewhere? I can't seem to figure out how to see the rest.

The brain science here has to do with the amygdala (controls emotions) hijacking the prefrontal cortex (higher reasoning) due to the fight and flight we feel when we fail in trading. It's EXTREMELY hard to overule the amygdala in the moment. You NEED an emergency strategy plan. The plan will save you from making further poor decisions. When we are charged up like that, we literally cannot think straight and we go back and ask "Why did I do that?" – the more you can be aware of what's happening in your brain, the better prepared you can be in the moment. The results of not having an escape plan can be devastating!
Exactly Ross. I've blown up more $500 accounts just exactly as you describe. I win 3-4 trades and then wipe everything out and get red on the day… 🙁 It's the story of my life.
