Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior
Can I go back to? Citation is locked so I just got the message. Gamestop rips into app into the close after hours. back to 200 bucks. I can't believe it.
Diamond hands you guys. You just got a you just got a gift from the stock Market gods. I don't know where it came from, but I haven't I. I and I can't even trade the first person that starts watching this video.
I'm gonna give you the password to my account. I want you to log in and buy two million dollars in Gamestop after hours. We've still got three hours until after hours closes. I I'm missing the whole thing and you know what? Maybe it's for the best.
Um, but I can't help but feel ridiculous fomo that I'm missing out. I'm gonna put my phone up here so you see my car seat in the back? Actually no he's on that side so no one's in the car. I'm in the dad mobile much? I figured oh you know, whatever. I had a good day today.
made 80 000 on Sypr and then gave back 30 000 off the top. Finished up 53 grand. Hey, 53 000 is still a great day, right? We talked class, chapter nine for warrior pro students and then what did we do? Well, I had to go run some errands. I didn't expect that Gamestop would squeeze from 50 up to 200 bucks.
Good job for those of you guys that locked it up. good work! That's amazing. I hope it goes to 400 again too. So I'm not looking at the charts right now, so you Guys tell me the price.
Call it out. What's the price at right now? Price of Game Stop. So I I got the message. Um, you know I keep in.
I keep in pretty close contact with some of my students. Got the message, Hey Ross, You're not going to believe this Gamestop is ripping. What? What do you mean? That's like ten dollars a share? No, no, it's really ripping. It's up 100.
And so I pull up the stock on my phone and I see in fact that it's over a hundred dollars. 100 a share. I think. All right.
Well, not much I can do about it. I can't really trade uh, from my phone. Now some of you guys can I? I don't trade for my phone. I don't have software set up to break from my phone.
I'm old school. I only trade for my computer. So given that I only trade for my computer, really nothing I can do here. Kind of kind of locked out.
so maybe it's for the best. One of the things I'll tell you is that, uh, so I see you guys saying is it 137 140. All right. so that's 70 points off the high tap.
200. Did it did it break 200? So 70 points off the high? Oh my gosh, I'm feeling nervous. There's going to be a big fight tomorrow. Am I going to get knocked out? Or am I going to be triumphant? Uh, I don't know.
So now the the adrenaline starts to kick in, you know something's going to happen tomorrow. So I you know the question. Well, So one thing when I'm thinking about trading like after hours. One of the problems with trading after hours for me is that if I lose, I don't have time to make back the losses.
I don't mind trading pre-market because if I lose pre-market I still have the whole day to make it back. But the worst thing that can happen for me like today. I'm setting up 50 000 right now, so I'm at 50 grand right now. I haven't touched Gamestop, but I'm up 50 000 on the day. That's real money locked it up. So you know. The problem now is if I go back, let's say I pull up Gamestop and I lose 15 grand. You know, then I'm up only 35 000.
I'm gonna want to try to get back to up 50 grand, take one more trade. I lose another 15 grand and just like that, you know I'm up only 10 grand on the day. Whatever it is. 20 grand on the day.
And just like that my day has falling apart and if I get into a position and it's not really working, you know, as we get further and further into after hours, the volume is going to decline. the volume will typically taper now. Volume probably increased after hours for a little bit on this, but it's probably gonna taper down to eight o'clock eight pm. and then you know we're We're at the end of the day and I don't wanna hold stuff overnight.
If I if I hold something like Gamestop overnight, I gotta set my alarm for 3. 45 tomorrow morning to get up to trade 4 a.m Opening Bell pre-market My instinct right now is that, um, getting up at 4 00 a.m isn't really worth it and that's just my instinct without looking really closely at the chart. I'll look at the chart when I get home, but the reason that I wouldn't be super into getting up at 4am is because you're not gonna have a lot of volume. Most trading platforms won't let you trade before 7 a.m so you're not gonna have a lot of volume at 4 Am.
I mean, if you're on most platforms, you're not going to be all traded at 4 am. Of course, We might also see restrictions again tomorrow. We'll see about that. But uh, the second thing is that on that super light volume, the spreads could be huge.
So I took a trade on a Gamestop at 4 00 a.m on one day. I bought it at 229 dollars a share and it ripped to 329. It ripped fast. But the spreads were Huge.
The problem with those big spreads is that it's hard to manage risk. Uh, so I've been doing the best if I wait until 7am, so that's probably what I'm going to do tomorrow. Someone says a 5.75 spread. No 50 cent spread.
I can't read it super well. How big's the spread right now? 50 cents is 75 cents. I I wouldn't mind that volume peaked at uh. Jason says 450.
Hey Jason, So you got your badge? You're I know who you are, I recognize your name. Jason's in the Uh in the chat room. He's got a profitability badge. I think you just I know you've got the 50k.
I think you just applied for 100k. So yeah, um, so I don't know big spreads. You know that's that's a tough thing. And actually that was a problem this morning on Um, Nv Os.
It was Nvos Big Spreads two point spreads. We were actually just watching a video for Warrior Pro Students. We're watching the live archives of Um, Bpth Biopath for some of you guys who may recall it. So Bpth squeezed from it was like thirty dollars to seventy dollars a share. It was just like straight up. And on that day when I was looking at the recording of it which is in the live archives, there was a halt at. Um, I think it was 47. It dips down to 43, 42 searches back up and halt's going up at 55..
you know I was looking at that on the recording with the two-point spread and the five-point flush before the rip. And man, that is some hard stuff to trade. So big spreads like that. That's I think what gets me kind of anxious about trade and Gamestop tomorrow because I'm like oh god, it's a another trip on the roller coaster because it is a roller coaster trading that stock.
There's big ups and there's big downs. And you know, my last trade on it was a hundred thousand dollar loss. So for that reason I'm a little. I'm a little gun shy on it.
Uh, you know it doesn't mean doesn't mean I won't trade it tomorrow. Good chance I will, but I have to respect the risk, you know, And that's that's an important thing. It's so easy, so many of us are going to be thinking oh my god, why didn't I buy 10 000 shares of it? You know, why didn't I buy 50 000 shares of it or however much you could afford and just hold it Well, The odds were pretty good, but uh, we would see action there. We go, All right.
So here's the game plan in case I get cut off again because I've got not very good uh service. I'm going to give you the game plan for tomorrow. game plan. You can expect that I will be trading starting at 7 00.
7 a.m tomorrow and what I'll probably do buffering I don't even know. I don't know what that's going to do to the video if it's just going to be a blank minute of buffering. So this is what I'm probably going to do. This is Big.
Okay, so tune in tomorrow. 7 A.m That's first before I get cut off again by poor cell service. Tomorrow 7 A.m I'm gonna be ready to trade block and load at sunrise. we ride.
Okay, so that's tomorrow. 7 A.m That's first of all. Second of all. Um, I when I get home, I'll look at charts.
Um, we're gonna do. I gotta do bedtime routine. So car seat stuff in the back seat. I gotta read some bedtime stories.
I gotta do my bedtime routine. Nothing gets in the way of that. Not game stop, Not nothing. So I gotta do the bedtime routine with my boys.
Then I'm going to look at charts and I'm going to break it down. I'm going to see what it looked like, what the big move, You know, just basically how it sits. Uh, as of 8 Pm when after hours closes. I'll probably come on, do another quick video then, and just give you my take of what I'm what.
I'm thinking. what levels are in play for tomorrow and then we're trying to get some sleep. I'm gonna be so excited. I probably won't be able to sleep, but I'm gonna. I'm gonna try to get some sleep and we'll see. We'll see what happens tomorrow And you know what? I don't know. I I hope it keeps going. I I I really hope for those of you guys that got in too high that this does go back to 400 to 500.
some of you guys are stranded up there and it's time for a rescue mission. We got to go get you. I'm coming. I'm coming for you at 500.
we're gonna come get a big big valley. All right. So that's the game plan. All right.
I'm gonna, uh, come back on maybe around 8, 30, 9 o'clock Something like that. Uh, break down the chart after hours. We'll see what it looks like. What's the current price? Well, I'll find out.
I'll find out when I get back. So 145? Okay, all right, that's not bad. So it popped up, it pulled back. We're consolidating in range we're flagging.
I can visualize the bull flag. I'm liking the look of it. Market's hot, so you know. I would also be mindful that we may very likely see some sympathy momentum.
Tomorrow we may see other stocks that just catch this momentum Fomo, so we may see a lot of volatility. We're gonna have to buckle up now. we don't want to get ahead of ourselves tomorrow. Could Also, just like any day, it could be a red day.
So we've got to trade mindful of the risk. Respect the risk. Trading is risky. In case you didn't already know that most beginner traders lose money.
you should be trading in a simulator before you put real money. on the line. But for those of you guys that want to learn, I'm happy to teach you. and it's going to be a continued learning event here.
as we watch Game Stop and this crazy move unfold. I'm excited all right. So um, I guess I'll I guess I'll hang here for a sec. My service is back.
You know what? Youtube cell services? I don't know if I'm one bar. I'm four bars. can't tell. Hit the thumbs up please.
If you haven't already, call all your friends. I'm going to be uh, sending some text messages to some of my friends who I know are holding two shares of Gamestop. This is Big. anything can happen.
Yeah, I heard Reddit. Uh, I tried to refresh rent it one load and then I someone said Reddit's crashed Wall Street bets. Man, don't underestimate Eight million degenerates could be crazy Stock game stop, can't stop. Well, I I would be right there with you trading.
I can pretty much guarantee it if it weren't for me running some silly errands. but you know, on the other hand, on the other hand, just for the sake of argument, I could picture myself. I could picture myself easily watching a stock go up 100 points and somehow losing money on it because I bought too high or I I was afraid I didn't get in, didn't get anything to finally get in and it flushes eight points on me. I panic and sell and then it pops right back up.
I've been there and that's something that active traders definitely know about. Some of the, uh, folks on Gamestop are in the the buy and hold kind of approach, which is a little bit different certainly than um, than the way than the way I trade because of course, I'm jumping in, jumping out, jumping in, jumping out, riding that momentum. But the problem with riding the momentum like that is sometimes you get in high and then you gotta cut your losses in in one trade. you give a lot back. So sitting at 143? All right. Good, good, good. So while I'm driving, let me give you a little less. something that I was talking about a lot with students.
The stock, The chart. Those are my rear view mirrors. I look back. okay, I'm looking back.
I can see the historical chart. I can see the historical chart and it's helpful to see the historical charts. Helpful to see what has happened. but what's coming next? I'm gonna see that by reading the tape, the tape, and the level two.
So the level two shows us the stack of buyers and sellers on both sides of the spread. and then of course the tape shows all the orders as they're going through. and that's where you can see in that moment, the strength. so the stock chart that gives us our historical context.
We need that no question about it, but to really dial into that entry to know when to press the buy button, When to press the sell button. That's where level two time and sales for me is key. Now that's not true for uh for all strategies. If you're a if you're not a day trader, you don't need level two time and sales necessarily.
But for active day trading which is probably I don't know to me the only way to trade something that's up to 300 percent I can't buy it and hold it for? well I could I guess. but I don't know. All right. So I was this funny.
Uh, before I left, I left. Um, I left my two dogs alone in my office all by themselves in my office. And after I left I thought to myself, did I shut down my trading software and I I pictured just for a moment June hopping up on my because I left. There's a piece of banana bread wrapped in just a little bit of tin tinfoil and I thought my god, would she go for it and on her way would she with those big stupid paws hit my hotkey.
What if Diamond Paws I taught my dogs right. They've got diamond Paws so for all I know I could get back and I'm already in game. Stop. I hope I am.
I hope they did it because they would have done something I wouldn't have had the courage to do. Diamond Paws. All in all, buys, no cells. We'll find out.
we'll find out as soon as I get home. and if they didn't diamond paw me into two million dollar position on Gamestop. Honestly, I'm trading them in. They're 2014s.
It's time to trade up. Looking for a new dog? I'm looking for a dog with diamond Paws. I'm looking for a dog that goes all in on Gamestop. It's not afraid to sell, just holds, holds, holds, holds. Not afraid. That's what I'm looking for. So if anyone's got a lead on a new dog, but well, I don't want to get ahead of myself. I haven't gotten home yet.
Maybe they did me right. I hope they did. I hope for their sake they did. All right.
Well, it's getting dark how much time? Let's see. it's Five, six, Five Thirty five. We still have still have two and a half hours of after hours trading. Game stop is dropping.
It's at 140. That doesn't sound too bad because what did it? What did it open today at? It's like like 50 bucks. So 140? I mean okay, that's a pullback from 200.. Is that a crash? I guess it depends on how zoomed in you are.
If you're looking at from 200 to 140, that's a big drop. And for most stocks, that would be a pretty pretty nasty flush. But from 44 to 140, that's nice. That's really nice.
And uh. so by the way, my youtube video from this morning because I was playing music in the background. so if you watched it my youtube video from this morning, you might see ads on it. I don't put ads on my youtube videos, but if I play music, they auto enroll it in ads to monetize it and then give the mind of the royalties to the person that owns the music.
So someone complained about it, said, what are you doing You're a sellout. You're putting ads on your ads on your youtube channel. You made fifty thousand dollars today. Why do you need to put ads on your Youtube channel? Well, it's because of the music.
Rules are rules, all right. Thank you guys for tuning in. This makes the drive a little a little more exciting. I was gonna be thinking about Gamestop either way.
saves me from refreshing my phone and trying to check the stock chart. Someone posted a picture of uh, a, uh, their uber drive, uber driver, Lyft driver and they had monitors like all right here. like this is a monitor. This is a monitor stock charts, but it was a nighttime picture so I'm guessing it must.
It was probably bitcoin. The nice thing with cryptocurrency, you could trade. Yeah. 24 hours game.
Stop curling up. Nice 143. Okay, all right, not bad. This is a Range Rover.
That's right. Range Rover was up. Uh, let's see last week 300 000? That's Range Rover money. But this is A.
I've had this car for five years and I've loved it. It's been the best car I've ever owned and it's a turbo diesel. I get 26 27 miles per gallon. So not only is it a fantastic car, it's also not terrible on the environment all things considered for a car this big 145.
So half dollar the 150 mark, it's it's A. It's a whole. It's A. You know, the 50 mark.
I call it half dollar whole dollar. but the 150 is. uh, that's going to be a line in the sand 142. yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if volume.
uh, you know, volume tapers a little bit because you know the thing is, you think if if you just got off of work and you you know you go to check. Um oh look at this guy, you go to check. um you know, Reddit or something like that you're going to realize oh wait a second. this thing is, uh, you know this thing is up. So would you go ahead and would you jump in it? you know Or would you would you just say no, I can't I can't get in up here. it's up too high and I think that I think most I don't know. I feel like I feel like people would. I don't know, I don't know.
I'm not sure if they'd get in. I mean day trading but I just don't know if we're gonna see a lot of volume. but do you think anyone anyone was shorting it anyone? short reloaded short at 50 hoping it's gonna go back to 15. That would be so crazy.
I mean it would just be crazy because you know given what it has just done, would you would it? Would you really do that if you're a big hedge fund? So I read about a hedge fund that made 700 million dollars going long during the short squeeze. They were smart. They said if we can't beat them, we're gonna join up. Boom long.
700 million dollars. That's the right idea. So could we see some institutional buying tomorrow? Because the thing is, if you saw to make 700 million dollars you need to buy a huge position and probably a lot of options, right? So you think about realistically how much volume that could bring into the into the stock. If you do start getting some institutional traders that step up to the plate and I don't know and I'm and the short flow has come down.
I know that but I wasn't checking to see what it what it's actually at so I don't know. I'm not sure it might be too rare for for those like really big money type of type of people because it's hard you know it's just the liquidity to get in with. you know, I don't know. 20 20 million dollar position or something like that 30 million dollar position.
It's just not going to be as easy to get in and then unwind it. Especially the way tomorrow once the market's open, will potentially be seeing big halts. So if we go back into the scenario of seeing those halts, it's yeah. it's gonna be.
It's gonna be hard to manage risk, even for me. I don't know what I would set up my cap on it. but realistically, at 200 a share I mean depends on, well, it depends on whether or not I can use leverage. I believe Gamestop was actually easy to borrow in light speed this last week.
So easy to borrow. But I don't I didn't check the margin. uh, whether or not I could use margins. but I could probably buy.
Depending on the leverage, I could probably buy up to three million dollars. maybe three and a half million dollars on it. So that's that. Could be a pretty pretty big position.
At 200 a share, that I think that would be my max buying power. That's the most I could buy in one position. But again, that depends on what the leverage is. So yeah, I don't know. Got a little little sunset. Red at night? Sailors delight? Red in the morning. Sailors take warning. Well, I'm going to be up my side.
I'm gonna be up for sunrise. So I'll tell you what it looks like. What time is sunrise. right now? It's like 6am.
But yeah, I'm not sure if I'm going to be up for. uh, I don't think I'm going to get up super super early on it just because I don't want. I just don't want to get wrecked. And you know this is a thing.
It's true that you know sometimes if you get up at 3 45 4 in the morning and you know it, you do get that big trade and then by the time it's 6 7 a.m it's already fading. You're like, man, the big trade was at 4 am. But then look at the volume and you realize that at 4 a.m it went up 100 points on like 200 000 shares of volume with 10 point spreads or something like that. And then you're like.
All right. Well, realistically, I probably wouldn't have been comfortable trading more than a couple hundred shares at the most, and even then I would have been risking thousands of dollars. So my philosophy generally with these is that if they're really strong, they will prove themselves and they will give us more opportunities so we'll pro. We'll probably, you know, if it's really strong, we'll get opportunities.
Maybe early, early, but most likely if it's still strong. seven to eight to nine bell rings at 9 30 and then at the open, it'll depend a little bit on the halt levels and uh, what? It looks like 75 million shares of volume? That's great. No, that's great right now for sure. but pre-market at 4 00 a.m I I would wager it will be very, very light.
Obviously it'll start with zero and then you know the first person to pull the trigger depends what the spreads look like so I don't know. Diamond hands? That's right, I, I just. I've I've learned not to underestimate Gamestop both directions. The day that it dropped from 400 to 100 bucks.
I'd never seen a drop like that before. So Gamestop it goes both ways that's for sure and definitely have to. You have to have to be really careful with it. have to manage risk.
All right. thank you guys for tuning in. Uh, hit the thumbs up if you haven't so already need to add more uh. depth fluid.
Diesel exhaust fluid tank level is low. Yeah, I wish I had my charts here. I wish I could. I wish I could see.
I wish I could see what was happening. And you know there's certainly a temptation to trade when you When you can trade on your phone. There's a temptation to trade on your phone. And so with my Td Ameritrade account which is my one of my retirement accounts I was able to trade on my phone and I would just find that I would go places.
I was just staring at my phone the whole time because I would get focused on a trade. so it's really hard for me to trade on such a small screen. I don't have all the tools, I don't have. Everything I need. Is it going sideways right now? Slowing back down a little bit? Yeah, that makes sense. Oh boy. 135. All right.
that's not bad. But yeah, it's trending kind of sideways. Long volume is dipping down and you know you may have some. You may have some paper-handed.
Um, cowards who are selling. You know I'm just kidding. I'm I'm the worst Because I I'm I'm the worst. Uh, I.
I would sell if it were me. I'm just as a day trader. I can't help myself. You know, I get in and then I get back out.
I can't I just it's just not within my risk tolerance. But you may have some people that are logging in that are like oh my God. my position on the day has gone from. you know what was previously down X amount to up and selling after hours.
You may have that. And then you have those people with the true diamond hands that they're looking for the moon. That's right. we're going to the moon and we're bringing Gamestop with us.
so I'm living vicariously. You guys, you guys are. You're there. You're seeing the charts.
I'm jealous. Time Check. We still have two hours and 10 minutes left of after hours trading. What are the spreads? and for those just getting tuned in, here's the game plan: So tomorrow 7 a.m block and load time to trade.
I'm going to be getting up a little earlier sitting down 7 a.m because the game stop now. Tomorrow uh morning I will start the Youtube stream a little early. for you Gamestop fans and for those that want to watch the game, Stop price action. So please tune in and make sure you hit the thumbs up and make sure you subscribe.
We're doing a uh, kind of special thing right now. We just crossed over 750 000 subscribers and so we put together this uh coupon code youtube 750. you guys can use it on uh, the starter class or the warrior pro class. Get with the subscribe button.
All right says it's reconnecting so I don't know if you guys can hear me but I'm going to be back first thing tomorrow morning and a little later tonight. I'm probably going to come on and check my check my charts and start to break it down a little bit. 150. Oh my God.
I'm missing the move 151. can you guys see me? It says it makes it. It looks like it's uh, still reconnecting. I'm hot All right.
good. Good job those of you who bought the dip. Good work. Even if you're trading the simulator.
Keep practicing, prove you can be profitable in simulator, then flip the switch and go live real money So you know what some of you guys that start practicing even when Gamestop first started taking off back in January. Now you've got a couple weeks of training in the simulator. I guarantee you after a couple weeks of training the simulator, you will be more knowledgeable about the markets than you were before you started. That means you'll be better able to really understand what's happening when we get the next squeeze. So is it going to be today? Tomorrow? I mean from 50 to 200 is already a pretty big squeeze. You guys start practicing. it's just what you have to do. So all right.
Game Plan: I'm going to get home, do a little bedtime routine uh with my boys, and then I will jump on. We'll do a quick, uh, kind of breakdown. I'll give you my analysis of the chart, I'll break down the levels, everything that I'm looking at, and then we'll make the game plan for, uh, what time we're going to reconvene in the morning. I? I'm not planning on trading it.
Uh, after hours tonight. I don't want to ruin a good day. I already had a great day and the problem, like I said, is that with volume declining as we get closer to the 8 Pm cut off, if I do lose, I might not be able to recoup those losses. so I'd rather wait and start fresh tomorrow.
I locked up 53 000 today. That was a fantastic day. I was up 80 000 and gave back 30. but yeah, hey, it was a green day.
Fifty thousand dollars is awesome so I'm gonna be back tomorrow. and uh, you know, trading tomorrow. but I'll see you guys in a little bit. All right.
So that's the game plan. Uh, tune in, stay tuned. Uh, in a couple hours for me to come back online and break down Gamestop a little bit more? Alright, see you guys then.
