Today is the day Apple and Amazon are reporting earnings today after the market closes and I will be live streaming it for free and all I literally ask you to do is to get this video over 1 000 likes and again I'm going to be hosting that free live session here on YouTube So make sure that you subscribe. But first, let's go ahead and talk about the details and what the current market expectation is for this. As you guys can see behind me, NASDAQ Market is indicating signs of an uptrend. so you know what we do on over here.

When Market goes up, we go into Tqq indicating signs of an uptrend. We just broke above the five minute moving average. We can see that we're retesting previous resistance levels. So I'm actually going to reduce my position size just a little bit by 4 000 shares here on Tqq by reducing by 4 000 shares at 167 000 worth of Tkq, again 8 000.

Now on the day and on SQ I Took a very quick trade, leaving myself with my one lucky share and made thirteen hundred dollars on this. One of the things that I quickly want to talk about is again Apple and Amazon report earnings after the market closes I wouldn't expect it wouldn't really surprise me if Market begins to trade sideways leading up to it. One of the things that I want to remind you is there's two parts to every single earnings, right? especially if they actually have an earnings call. There's the earnings report which is released right when the market closes and then There's a second.

Catalyst And this is the earnings call in my opinion and 100 just in my opinion. I See the earnings call to be often more valuable and more significant based off of the market and the way that it reacts. Remember, the earnings report is based off of the Stock's performance based off of previous quarter. The earnings call is where the executives come on the line and actually give a future forecast for up and coming quarters.

So therefore, is it not just again, how we've done in the past, but this earnings call gives us a better understanding of how we're set to do in the future. And this is where investors can get either very excited or turned off based off of expectation that are set during this earnings call. And this is why I see it to be so important. but I need to to understand that there's two parts to it.

and again, I'm going to make this video super short and sweet because I want you to understand this. Amazon Earnings Reports Today August 3rd Current Market expectations for earnings per share is 35 cents per share. The overall forecast for revenue is 131.45 billion I Want to remind you that just because the actual report might come in higher or lower than expected, that doesn't always mean that the stock has to Rally or drop based off of what is expected. It is also what is said in that actual report itself.

And trust me, the market reacts so much quicker than what I can read and most likely you as well. So therefore, I don't personally like to have an open position during the actual earnings report. and if I do have an open position, I like it to be much more on the lighter side of things. So if things begin to go south for me very quickly, I can quickly manage and mitigate my risk.

And there it goes. We've got NASDAQ still indicating signs of an option back there. Now the last one is Apple. Apple is the largest company that's publicly traded based off of market cap valuation.

This is why it's so significant. This is why today is so significant. It's not just another company's reporting earnings, it's Apple is reported earnings that has a three trillion dollar market cap. Apple has an expectation and a forecast of earnings per share of 1.19 per share and has an overall forecast of Revenue of 81.73 billion.

Again, the same thing applies to Apple. It doesn't matter if it beats or comes in lower than expected, it often matters more of what is said during the earnings report and during that earnings call. Apple has such a large market cap that it wouldn't really surprise me that if it really begins to Rally or really begins to tank, it will drag the rest of the NASDAQ Market with it. This is why I mean you don't often see me trade Apple but I trade NASDAQ and I know the influence that Apple can have on over overall indexes such as NASDAQ and S P 500 which is why I'm sharing this with you.

So again, the way that I like to prepare is I like to keep a light position if I intend to keep one open or I like to stay cash. So I can be late to a rally versus trying to hope for something to happen and being early to a sell-off let's see where we're at so far. So during this video I've made what was it. we broke 8 000.

Now we're almost at ten thousand dollars just for Tkq and I'm at that SQ position again I close. It just left myself with my one lucky share. Beautiful setup. One thing that I do want to let you know is again.

I Did share my trade plan with Tkq with my Lpp team. They got to see me trade live this morning. I Don't know if you guys ever feel like it's very complicated to trade live or trade on your own. Um, and on the one minute time frame for me, it's just a little bit more impulsive.

But on the five minute time frame when we broke above that moving average and we've been testing it, you know this is something that we've been waiting for to happen since the market went live and we originally got rejected by it and sold right Back off. One of the things that we pointed out is on the four hour time frame we are testing the moving average support and again what a significant time to be testing it right if you look at QQQ support at the moving average which has been incredibly bullish so we knew that this could be a very very strong support. But again, remember this is a technical support. As soon as Apple and Amazon earnings come out, it's completely out the door.

We can blow right through that support or we can go back to to retest previous high. So I'm very excited to follow up. but again, why try to predict the future when you can simply just try to prepare?
