Today I Want to talk about why Ape would not be delisted due to DRS and your shares even if 80, 90, 95, or even 99 of the flow was fully DRS. However, I also want to talk about why DRS and your shares may not be the best idea and how the squeeze is still very likely to happen even without it. So stay tuned and let's make some money. And now I'm going to dive straight in with the key information. So Spence tweet is saying the rumor that AMC will get delisted if we log 80 of the float. It's complete rubbish created by a bunch of people who don't know how the market fully. Works He said institutions own 118 million shares. The New York Stock Exchange only requires 1.1 million AMC shares to be publicly held to remain list it. Obviously, 180 million shares held by these institutions significantly exceeds the 1.1 million share requirement and therefore would remain listed on top of that. Even if the float was 99 or even 100. DRS then every single share was DRS. It still wouldn't be delisted from the New York Stock Exchange because these shares would still be held at the DTC even if they've been DRS at that part. I'm going to explain a little bit later, but the key point is, even if a hundred percent of the float was DRS, the stock still wouldn't be delisted from the New York Stock Exchange. However, at that point, all of the shorts would be recalled. Obviously, if an institution isn't holding a singular share and every single share is DRS over to Computer Share these shorts would no longer be able to borrow AMC shares and therefore the shorts would forcibly be recalled. But now I Also want to talk about why DRS and your shares isn't really required and isn't necessarily the best idea. As Edward Burchak tweeted, he said earlier, when you DRS your shares Computer Share gives you an IOU under your name and the DTC keeps the book record of that IOU. Therefore, even when you DRS your shares over to Computer Share, the DTC still keeps the record of that share being held by computer share and you simply get an Ioub similar to what was given you in Ape through these Brokers. As Edward tweeted, he said only the DTC and the Dtcc know which Shares are real, their location, and also the true number of synthetics, Ftds and all of the Securities that have been re-hypothecated by them. Computer Share technically doesn't own the shares. they're just a transfer agent and note the ownership that you hold. it's simply an IOU and they don't physically get the share certificates in their name from the computer Share website says, the bar system enables participants to provide electronic custody, transfer, deposit, and withdrawal services to beneficial holders more quickly and efficiently. For the far system, the DTC establishes an account with the transfer agents like Computer Share for each issue these Accounts at Computer Share are registered to seed and Co the Dtc's nominee AK your AMC and Ape shares will be held at Computer Share in the Dtc's name still and that represents on the transfer agent's book the sum total of shares for that issue held by Dtc's participants. participants maintain corresponding books representing their shareholder accounts held in street name. Transfer agents like Computer Share can then make requests to debit or credit these accounts. AKA They're not physically receiving actual share certificates, they're just noting down. yet that's one IOU over here. And yet that's two IUS Over here, the balance on the transfer agent's books is increased and decreased on a daily basis. Take note of that. The balance on their books. Okay, they're not receiving physical AMC shares, they're just simply writing down numbers and letters on their books to represent your shares AKA Ious. And in this section for Drs it says the DRS or the direct registration system operated through. The DTC was established as an addition to the Far system in 1996 and enables share is to be held on records of transfer agents in book entry form aka. the records of those shares can be held on a book entry form. Okay, there's no physical shares, it's just simply book entries or ones and zeros. So instead of your shares being held by these Brokers being held directly at the DTC, your Shares are instead held in the Dtc's name in an account at Computer Share. Just a quick one. In fact, at this point, the majority of the GameStop flow is actually DRS. However, GameStop still hasn't yet hit ten thousand dollars per share or twenty thousand dollars per share. and therefore, whether DRS is actually doing anything is still yet to be seen. I Do think that if DRS single shares was going to make a significant difference, then GameStop would have squeezed by now already and AMC would be left in a dust. But the fact that neither AMC 8 nor GameStop have yet squeezed goes to show the DRS thing doesn't actually make a substantial difference and I think on top of that, not only does the RSC not make a substantial difference, but drsing also doesn't stop DRS shares from being shorted. As a prime example 741 trade tweeted saying on Friday GameStop traded 69.66 of all volume short the 35th consecutive day above 60 of all volume. If DRS was halting shares from being shorted, surely that would mean the daily percentage of short volume should be like 20 or 30 or even 10, not 69 or higher. However, as a prime example of why GameStop will still squeeze is this tweet from Charles Gasparino Charles twitch saying I know Tesla was shorted for years He said it was a terrible trade repeatedly for years and he was warning everybody from buying Tesla because Tesla was a great stock to Shore and he's saying I won those Tesla investors just like I'm warning those AMC investors now because he thinks that AMC is a pump and that it's a terrible trade. But as a quick Bear news flash if Charles Gasparino didn't know Tesla actually had a massive short squeeze and everybody that was shorting Tesla ended up getting burnt. Therefore, he's basically saying that he is warning those AMC investors because a squeeze is coming. He's saying don't invest into AMC because it's a terrible company and it will definitely squeeze a suspended POS tweeted said that this guy indirectly say that AMC is gonna squeeze comparing it to the Tesla squeeze considering Tesla is being shorted for years and on top of that I also wanted to come back on touch on the potential partnership between AMC and Disney. CEO it says Bob Iger returns as the CEO of Disney where he served as the CEO from 2005 to 2020. in that time he led the Acquisitions of Pixar Marvel Lucasfilm and the entertainment assets of 21st. Century Fox Could AMC be next If Bob Arger typically goes on a run of massive massive Acquisitions like Marvel Lucasfilm and 21st Century Fox, it would only make sense He, as a CEO would be looking for some more. Acquisitions Bob obviously has this relationship with Adam Aaron Adam Aaron has this relationship with Disney and Adam Aaron could potentially be looking to be acquired to cause the squeeze. This would be a perfect opportunity for Bob Iger and Disney to swoop in and acquire AMC buying up all of their shares, causing all of those shorted shares to be recalled, causing the squeeze.
