What's up everybody, so this video was unexpected, but um american express and uber have this thing where you get 15 a month um from january to november, in uber credits that you can use for uber eats or uber, you know delivery service or a driving service. I'm sorry so i typically use it on ubereats and sometimes, if i'm flying i'll use it for you know uber, then in december you get 35 an additional 20 to equal out to 200 per year. I already used my december credits this month for 35 and then yesterday i realized i had an additional 35 in uber credits and i was like this must be a mistake. So i made a community post um and i put it right here for you guys and some of you guys said you were able to use it.

Some of you guys said you had it, but then they took it away. One person ordered sushi because i think they had a total of 80, which was crazy, um. So to me it was like a. It was a mistake.

Obviously, but it was like a merry christmas mistake from uber. I don't think it was from the amex side. I think it was uber giving them. You know, making the mistake, but it really doesn't matter um.

I was able to use it. Yesterday i decided to splurge a little bit since it was a little gift um. So you know don't do what i do. You know.

Try to always go to zero, but i just decided to splurge a little bit. The uber black ride was about 55 and um. It took it down to you know about in the 20s and i obviously have to tip you know. So i did, you know a little splurge and got picked up in an escalade all black.

You know i like to do that, sometimes especially around the holidays. You know we work hard and we deserve the splurge and it's only 20 30 bucks. So it really wasn't much but yeah an additional 35 in uber credits. Some people said they got it revoked a couple hours later.

Some people didn't receive an additional credit at all. So this obviously was a mistake. The funny part about this mistake is, i got a notification from the uber app this morning. When i woke up and it said oops, we gave you additional money.

We have reflected something. The screenshot is right here, screenshot's right here, um, but it was too late too late uber. I already used it. It's already gone so i'll.

Let you guys know obviously uh in a couple of days if they adjusted it to the point where they've charged me for the entire purchase uh amount, but i don't think they will. You know it's just too late, it's it's their losses and it's okay. Companies make mistakes um and you know if it's there i mean i'm going i'm going to use it. I don't see why now it's just 30 something dollars, so let me know guys down below if you use it again, the one person that used the sushi because you had 80 bucks.

Congratulations. You got a nice little meal, a little merry christmas gift from uber. We do so much for these companies. These companies profit so much from us if they make a little small minor mistake like this, i'm probably going to take advantage of it and i hope you guys do the same.
