Okay, let's go over the benefits, all right, the travel benefits. First, you are getting that 200 hotel credit that i talked about. Um. You can use it all at once.

It's not broken down in the months or anything like that. It's going to be for prepaid, fine, hotel and resorts, or the hotel collection book news with amex travel. You have to play with your platinum card um. You are still going to get the global lounge collection, which includes like priority pass, and things like that, so you're not losing that at all.

You are still keeping your 200 airline crime credit. You still have to every fiscal year pick your qualifying airline for incidentals, such as check bags and flat refreshments and things like that gift cards and they are hit or miss. But typically it's going to be for check bags and in-flight purchases, you're still keeping your 200 uber cash that i talked about you're getting a new 179 dollar clear credit that you can use for your clear membership and guys, if you are like a delta sky miles. Member you can get that discounted as well, but keep in mind you are getting a clear credit as well, which i am so pumped about, i'm finally getting a clear credit and it sucks, because i have the green card.

That has the clear credit already. So i may have to do something with the green card very very soon um we are keeping the global entry tsa pre-track credit, which i begged i prayed for - that the rumors that the clear credit was going to replace it. No, i love that it has a combination. This is the only card to give you both.

This is why platinum is the best travel car, in my opinion, okay, so you're, keeping that um, you are getting something called the hotel collection. What this is, i just got off the phone with the um amex rep pretty much every year you get a hundred dollars to use. You have to call concierge which, which is what she told me it's going to be for things like dining or a spa. It says minimum two nights day required to be eligible for this benefit.

I was told that you have to call kanchi arizo to get more information, so i'll call khan. She airs um later on today. If you guys want to know more about that, you're still keeping your marriott gold status, your hilton gold status, no foreign transaction fees, car rental and loss damage, insurance, premium, car rental status, trip delay, trip cancellation, you're, keeping everything let's get into the other new things. You're going to also be getting the 240 entertainment credits so 20 a month, and this can be an annual savings of 240..

Now it says to visit, um participate in partners visit, americanexpress.com platinum, which i'll do for you guys uh in a quick. Second, i'm just going to keep going down the list. You also get that 300 equinox credit that i told you would be divided into 12 at 25, but it does appear. You have to enroll here first.

So when you click on that um you get to enroll and i'll look into more of this in a more detailed video to see exactly what it and you know has and because some people were asking me, can you buy things on the website and all that Stuff, i don't know i'll check that out in another time: um you will get and still keep the shop sacks with platinum and it is july 1st. So you get your other 50 to you starting today. So definitely go ahead and use it. I already got things in my cart, ready to go um, you still keep platinum card, concierge, um and all that good stuff.

So guys i am extremely satisfied with american express. I think they did an amazing job. Like i said, a lot of you were kind of on the fence when i made the announcement yesterday. To be honest, the person that i spoke to just now on the phone was the same person that i spoke to last night or two nights ago, and she gave me the spill.

Um and she's amazing she's, amazing, i'm not saying any names, but she gave me the spill prior, because why? I hide the information and yeah it's. I think it's definitely worth it. If you wanted to really sit there and add up all the numbers, we can add them up for you um. I did the math um already and i think if you used all the credits, it was about fifteen hundred and forty four dollars of dollar value, that you would get minus the 695 dollars um an annual fee.

So you will be profiting about 849 and let's say you can't use that 300 equinox credit. Okay, we do take a loss by 300, but you're still profiting 549 and, like i said i get so much value out of this card that me losing that 300. I'm gon na make it up with the status matching like i said, i'm going to the bahamas in a few weeks for only 200 because of the platinum card. So i'm going to find a way to make that up the referral bonus.

The referral um commissions i receive and all this i'm going to make it up for sure, so i'm definitely keeping this card. The only question i have for some of you like myself, who have the green and platinum combo. Do you still keep it because now the clear credit for the amex green card seems counterproductive? If you have both, but i know you still get like 3x on things like expedia.com and priceline.com. When you use your amex green card, you don't get that on the platinum card.

So it's a it's kind of tough. For me, i'll have to sleep on it. I may end up upgrading to the gold card which american express wins again because they get some more money out of me, but i'm happy overall and guys, like i said you heard it here first a couple days ago, so put some respect on the name.
