So, if you have not heard American Express is making big changes to a couple of their cards starting January 1st 2020, they would be adding trip, delay and trip cancellation. Yes, let me say it one more time: American Express is adding trip, delay and trip cancellation. This is really big, so, first and foremost shout out to everybody who saw Amex fans out to chase fans this. I want you guys to tag your favorite youtubers down below talking about credit.

There are so many awesome youtubers, so I'm not gon na name them all name. The big one put the big ones in there. If they watch this channel, the smaller ones doesn't matter, but calming them tag them in. Here I want their opinions.

So let's get into these changes and these changes are courtesy of the point sky.com not from American Express calm, not from American Express just yet, but from the points kayo is a really reliable source, so shout-out to you so starting on January, 1st 2020 American Express will Be adding trip, delay and trip cancellation coverage now does appear when October 1st, if they're going to be giving the information to us so might be, sending us melons might be giving us emails all that stuff. So trip cancellation and trip, interruption and storage, which is really awesome. You have to book the full round, so it has to be round 2 flight number 1. It has to be booked entirely on your eligible American Express card which I'll go over very soon in agony hostage, so you'll be covered for trip cancellation for terrorist action, inclement weather the jury, duty to topic, illness or injury to you are eligible traveler and you may Receive I'm a reimbursement of non-refundable travel expenses up to 10,000 per trip, which is awesome, what's the maximum of twenty thousand twelve month period, so that is really really awesome and keeping my guys has to do round trip.

So if you're going from Philly to Chicago Chicago to Philly, it has to be like that it can't be like so house, wherever you start out, you have to finish, has to be around so, if, like the cards eligible for this are gon na, be the Platinum Car from Amex the business platinum card Hilton aspire card doctor reserved both business and personal side, also the Marriott Conway business. So I'm Mariette bombed way to cart. So we also going to have trip delay insurance, so that is really awesome as well. So they're going to cover again round-trip flights purchased entirely with the AMEX card, and if your trip is delayed by more than six hours due to a cover reason, this perk will reimburse unexpected expenses like meals, lodging personal use the so the cards are gon na offer.

This are a platinum card, business, platinum card, hilton, IRS, buyers, card doctor reserved most personal and business. Marriott, Bomboy, brilliant american express did not forget the cards who aren't paying the hefty hefty annual fees. So if your trip is delayed more than twelve hours, due to a cover reason, you'll be eligible for expense, reimbursement up to three hundred with these cards: Amex gold card, Amex, business, gold, American, Express green card, the Platinum Delta card for business and personal card, and these Changes are going to take place January 1st 2020. There are going to be up some other changes for extended, warranty and purchase protection which I'm making another video.

But let's get back to the this video right here. So this right here is awesome because the biggest downfall that a lot of people always say when they compare Chase Sapphire, Preferred sapphire reserve against the Amex Golkar Amex platinum card that one thing that they can hit, that's actually really important. A valuable is a trip demand trip cancellation. I have a lot of youtuber friends that I'm you know talk to in a consistent basis.

Even my subscribers. Some say you know. If Amex had trip, delay and cancellation, I would switch on over to team MX. Well guys.

Now is the time to switch over, and you know who you are so come out clean before I call you all out now: that's the time to switch, I love Amex and how they do their thing. Nothing wrong would taste at all, but I'm just team Amex. My gold and platinum card, I'm really excited if these announcements are true, which they should be, I'm really going to be happy to use this card without any hesitation. I'm not gon na have to worry about losing five points per dollar or losing trip billion cancellation.

Now I can have both as long as it's a round-trip flight which, most of the time I'm going to be going round trip flights. So I'm really excited for this. What do you guys think again, the biggest comparison for Amex and chases? Well, Chasez trip delay Castle, tip Amex. Has it now starting January 1st 2020? These this card is a really. These cards are really nice. Travel cards to have especially the Platinum Card, the 550 annual fee is hefty, but it is really an investment and I get at least a thousand plus value per year from this card every year. So I have no problem paying that fee, because I'm getting more out of my 550 and with this noun being trip, delay and trip cancellation definitely worked at 550, not to mention all the other benefits and perks that this car comes with gold status for Hilton Marriott Status matching from different concei knows to hotels, I'm getting a trip for about 200 bucks for the Atlantis and Bahamas and that's including aqua venture.

The waterpark is including all that for a five-night stay just for a little over $ 200 resistor taxes because of the Amex platinum card sex with Avenue credit uber credits on the airline credits, the TSA PreCheck Global Entry priority pass the concierge, the Amex lounge. I mean guys the perks go on and on and on to make travel, nice and simple and not forget, don't forget Amex, just as a bank is a really good Bank technology's, always a one really smooth process and I will give American Express the edge over when It comes to customer service, never have an issue and I call Amex customer service. I do have issues sometimes when I call chase and that's just what it is. But what are you guys thinking I mean if you guys want to apply for these cards.
