I was finally able to restore my accounts, but wow - 2FA is such a joke. It's too easy for someone to get access to your phone's sim card and then spoof their way through email accounts and have access to whatever they want. Never thought I'd be target since I don't hold bitcoin or anything untraceable, but the vulnerability this exposed is pretty shocking. Please learn from this, take steps to prevent this from happening. REQUIRE your cell phone companies to use your password and not a social security number. Have the cell phone companies call your number before making any changes - my hackers were able to spoof the number to show up as mine. Change all of your passwords and make sure you don't have one email that links to everything else.
The psychological fall out is akin to being robbed having your house ransacked. I imagine Ukno Ono rummaging around my accounts with a torch. It’s the worst feeling in the world.
Netflix everything. I feel sick , I’m suffering with anxiety and stress atm.
This exact same thing happened to me unluckily for me they put a 2 authentication app on all my accounts so I was screwed
Sorry Graham, have you considered temporarily disabling the comments ….
Did you ever catch the thief?
I unfortunately know the feeling… a few weeks ago, I suspected someone may of gotten access to my YouTube account… which is connected to me email… and as you know, someone could then easily get access to my PayPay and other info. I was freaking out. No offense, but I would’ve been more concerned with the social number than the phone….
Have you changed your social (is that even possible?) -Would love to know!

Am Soo happy, after been mugged off twice I finally got my account and my phone unlocked after a long while, thanks to u.sbasehacker on IG for helping me out.i will forever recommend you for your honesty
After sharing all the hardship and scare that you experienced….the ending was a respectful finish…..props to you big man! 🙌🙌🙌
Amazing! Thank you Graham!
Sorry to hear, thanks for sharing though. I'm a software developer and 2FA is not a joke, but it's sort of minimum security. Only passwords have been easy to break for a long time, getting control of a SIM card is harder, but not impossible of course. Point being – you don't get to use the internet AND feel safe, ever. You can only be diligent about your safety and hope for the best. But, you can use services like LastPass to have very hard but easy to use passwords along with 2FA to make things more annoying for people.
Get a 2 factor authentication usb key
Did you call the police? What can you do for justice? So sorry and thanks for sharing!
Nothing like hearing about a millionaire getting hacked to make you stop and rethink your life decisions at midnight. Kind of don't think I'll be getting any sleep tonight…
Graham I didn't do this but you can buy someones social security number by just their name and like a relative area in that they live in. It usually costs like 10$ and it takes about 5 minutes. And there is something called a fullz where if you pay 15$ you can literally find anything and everything about you. That one takes about 15 minutes and it is extremely scary. Make sure you protect yourself as best as you can.
So much for apple security eh lol that's why i tell people not to buy tech based on security features.
Dude, I know this video is old and you might not notice this message. But maybe you will. Account hacks basing on stealing phone are quite popular and very dangerous. Even if you think that you don't have much to take from there (btw, you probably have, but just don't realize) – some guys can get a lot of it. I know some people who were holding photo-copies of their documents on google drive for their convenience and it is truly convenient, but… one your phone is stolen – they can get access to your google and whatever else. Having your for example documents – i had a friend whoose account got compromised and on his behalf the credit was taken in some insane online-credit company like in 15 minutes (I didn't even know such company exists). Your bank accounts are assigned to your phone – so the transactions can be made from your banking account (my friend lost possession on 2 out of 3 banking accounts)…. if not spoted and reacted in time – that can go the horrific way. And, by the way – you're lucky that your operator managed to respond in 30 minutes. My friend spent half a day to get the second card blocked – sometimes telecom companies can be quite a je.ks. It was like an insane nightmare for him.
dude set up 2 factor authentication
Wow – what a great video. Sorry it happened. Very good advice.
