Are you achieving your full potential or falling short?
In today’s episode of #MindsetMonday, I reveal the secret sauce that Rockstars use to live up to their full potential. It’s either complaining and not doing the work or being laser focused on the steps they need to take to become the best version of themselves possible. Ultimately, achieving your life’s full potential is no one’s responsibility but your own… you have to keep moving forward and adapt.
At the end of the day, who do you want to become?

People that underperform their potential, they don't take personal responsibility. They they blame their management, they blame their team leader, they blame the government, they say it's somebody else's fault, people that underperform their potential under perform their potential versus people that seem to achieve more. What's the difference you know when i look back on, you know: 27 28 years of coaching 35 000 hours, there's really just one thing that separates again: people that under perform their potential, i'm not saying they're not doing well they're just underperforming their potential versus people that Just seem to achieve it's such an extraordinary level and it they don't make it look effortless they're working hard to make that happen, but they achieve their potential. What's the difference, what would you guess, discipline mindset, skills, i'm telling you right now.
It's only two words, personal responsibility. That's it people that underperform their potential. They don't take personal responsibility. They they blame their management, they blame their team leader, they blame the government, they say it's somebody else's fault.
I don't feel good all these. These lists of things that they give all their power away to that's why they underperform their potential, because they they don't take the personal responsibility that hey you know what no one gives a you know what how you feel what's going on the world changes all the Time, taxes change all the time, rules change all the time the achiever just says whatever it is, it is keep moving forward, keep pivoting keep adapting do whatever it takes, because that's how they're wired and this group they get depressed. They want someone else to do it. They want the man to solve the problem and that's the difference, and i'm not saying these are bad people.
I want to be very clear, like they're, just underperforming their potential, we're all going to die. We've talked about it before tick, tock, tick, tock, right. It's gon na happen and the question is like on your deathbed, which one do you wan na be? Do you wan na be that person that that looks back with regret with upset that i wish i would have i wish i could have, and only if and if i just got lucky, which is just another way of saying i should have just done the work. I should have just been the one i should have said it doesn't really matter.
What's going on around me, i just got ta. Do what it takes every single day focus on what you can control. That's it so here's my question: what will you do to up your personal responsibility just between now and the end of the year? What can you do this week? Things like, if you say, you're going to do it, you do it. If it's in your schedule, you take action on it right.
If you're supposed to write a plan, you write a plan. If you're supposed to do marketing, you get your marketing gun, you're supposed to make phone calls, you make your phone calls and it doesn't matter you just do it, because that's what achievers do and you got to decide look around the world is full of people that Underperform their potential and there's very few of us that just decide to follow through and do it no matter what the choice is. Yours.
Think of what you should do and do what you have thought was the great learning. Thank you.
