It looks like Dan has repeatedly mislead his followers about the success of his companies, where his money really came from, his success in the sport of poker, the ownership of the property he lives in and much more
Dan supposedly made his millions playing poker, however, it seems that his Corporate takeover specialist father, Paul Bilzerian, could’ve given him a hand, making hundreds of millions throughout his career.
Ignite brands is currently failing due to significant expenditure being incurred vs little revenues, a lot of this expenditure revolves around ‘marketing’ which appears very high considering Ignite does not run TV adverts or sponsor large sports events.

Thomas I agree with a lot of the points you've made in the video but also a lot of people are saying "he's funding his own life" with the money that's meant for the business so therefore he'll go to prison or whatever. But if you come to think about it, don't you think that the stuff he bought can be actual business expenses? For instance the Yachts he rented, the "mansion" he rented, etc. Because his whole idea is that he has this "image" of a life-style that people want to live and he's basically renting it all because it's apart of his marketing scheme. Basically meaning that he's trying to convince his fans that they can live like this too, meaning that's how he markets his business because in essence his "lifestyle" is his business. That's the whole idea. So therefore, can't that all be Legitimate business expenses?

I'm no accountant. But I've seen enough episodes of American Greed to recognize what's going on here. Having a real company, but using it as a personal piggy bank. It seems like this and the good old fashioned Ponzi scheme are really common.
