So i've really been in this conversation about change right, if you think about what's happening in the market right now, you think about what's happening around the world right now: politics, business life, everything is always changing, and yet the vast majority of people when confronted - and i Mean confronted by change, they get paralyzed, they absolutely get paralyzed. Now, not all some of us you and me. We embrace change. We like change, i mean think about it like don't we love springtime coming out of winter.
Don't we like summer time? Don't we love the fall? Don't we love a new baby right, a new idea, a new business strategy like that stuff fires us up my question, for you is this: how do you deal with change? How do you manage change? I i'll totally butcher this quote, but we all know the quote: it wasn't the strongest that survived it wasn't the fastest, it wasn't the most intelligent. It was the most adaptive to change. That's who goes out and dominates so ask yourself. This question: where have i gotten stuck? Maybe it could just be as simple as the iphone shooting videos, an adjustment in facebook's algorithm youtube changing or what's going on in your local marketplace with disintermediators disruptors.
You know people that are coming in and trying new things innovating right. How do you respond to that? Do you lean into it? Do you say, okay, how am i going to get better? What am i going to do? How can i reach out to my past clients and sphere more? How can i connect with more people? How can i make a better difference, or do you rely on your past performance and the way you've always done stuff to make it happen? Look one of my long time mentors peter drucker, said in business. It's all about innovation and marketing, innovation and marketing. Innovation is the realization that what got you here won't get you there that you have to be looking for ways to surprise and delight your customers, especially when you've got discounters in the marketplace.
Better tech, savvy companies, people that are coming after your database, if you're not innovating, to make it special to make it different to make you stand out. It doesn't even matter what you do in terms of marketing you're gon na lose so just a simple rant. The only thing that is constant in chain in life is change. The only thing that is constant in life is change.
Are you changing fast enough?.
Mr. Ferry, I don't have a lot of money for paying for a RE mentor, but I am being told it is best to pay for training from a mentor, can you send me info on where to find a mentor RE trainer? Thank you
I want a change I am an RN have my RE license and want to do it FT, the change is scaring me because of the unknown and my weekly paycheck.
So true "Change is the only constant thing". We must adapt ourselves to all the changes that are happening for good. Thank you for the beautiful lines.
