What's up everyone? All right? Well back from the weekend. Monday morning in the Green 9 700. That's not bad. I was up about 19 000, gave back half off the top.
so finishing up just under 10 grand, that's a good start for Monday. At least it's green. better than uh, my first day of trading last week, which was a thirty thousand dollar red day. So I'm in the green happy about that.
Yeah, bummed I gave back half off the top. Uh, had two losses back to back. One was five thousand, the other was five thousand. So uh, you know it's just not a lot of follow-through today.
There are a couple of different stocks moving, but you know it's only 10 a.m now, but I've already given back half my profit. I don't really want to keep trading and losing more money, so that's the point where at this moment I just have to say, well, I gave back half. At least I got to walk away of money in my pocket. It means I miss out on the rest of the morning or maybe afternoon opportunities.
But at least I lock up Monday as a green day and then I'll try it again tomorrow. You know market's open tomorrow. It's always. that's kind of the thing.
Well try again tomorrow, so I'll be back at it tomorrow. Hopefully we see some better momentum. Hopefully we see a better gap scanner. We not much on the gap scan today and that was the challenge.
That was tricky. so did the best with what we had. Didn't have a lot but got green as always. In case you didn't already know, trading is risky.
Most beginner traders lose money and so you should assume as a beginner that you will lose money. With that assumption in mind, train a simulator before you put real money on the line. Do not try to blindly follow me and remember my results are not typical. Hope you enjoy the recap and I'll see you tomorrow.
What's up everyone? All right? Well finishing the day here up 9761. was up uh 20 000 gave back half. only stock I traded was eftr had a nice trade on it pre-market as it squeezed here from 29 up to 35 but then gave back some profit at the open and gave back another five grand right here. Got in at 31.
was looking for the break of v web. lost a dollar a shares. it came back down 4 500 share position. so typical I suppose kind of slow Monday but at least a green Monday which is a good start.
Good start to the week. Ater this one I saw it was watching it but these topping tail candles made me a little bit nervous. It's a meme stock kind of have a hard time trusting it so just left it alone. Just very choppy.
Big move up, big move down, back up, back down so left that one alone. There were a couple other stocks to hit the scanners, but generally pretty slow day. Gap scanner wasn't great, leading Gappers were buyouts. Eftr obviously was on the Gap scanner, but has sold off a bit since the open Blue was on the Gap scanner.
This one has sold off since the open. So this one, um, just really. um, not holding up well at all all the way back to not even being a Gap. Pretty disappointing, but you know that's that's the way it goes. Some of them work, some of them don't, so a lot of choppiness. Today, Olb I saw this one hit the scanners, didn't trade it. I'm glad I left that one alone. That's back at 550 as well, so you know we're seeing some opportunities here and there, but still a little bit slow.
So happy to have a green day. 10 000 just under is great. Be back at it tomorrow, we'll see if we can, you know, find some more opportunities and maybe have a good Wednesday Thursday. Uh, this week.
Wednesday Thursdays are kind of when I've been doing the best midweek Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and then Mondays and Fridays have been a little bit slower, so it was green on Friday 12 000. another 9 700 here. It's about 20 000 in two days. That's great.
We'll try to keep it going tomorrow. No trades in the small account Today I didn't see anything that looked good, so uh, that's fine. Small account is flat break even zero trades, but no losses. which is good.
so that's it for me. Give back half the profit off the top from up 20 000 to up uh 9700 and that's my cue to hit the road and try again tomorrow. I'll be back in the morning. See you then! I'm confused, you are not showing an actual trade how you made those 9,7k?🧐 Isn't it the most important part for your audience, potential students, who trying to evaluate whether this strategy is working for them? Really frustrating.🙁 Or am I missing something?
i was +1050 on ATER, till i decided to do one more trade which costed me a lot, closed the day with -500 $ !!!!!!!!!
Any advice!!!! Why I am very good in paper training and suck in real money how can I change this 😫 tks in advance

Ross, how did you find EFTR? Was it just the premarket volume? Or you acted on alerts for the first few minute candles of breakouts?

Trying to understand pre-market trading-the strategy Ross used today with EFTR. If your broker is open for pre-market trading is this the process: study pre-market conditions using level 2, set a limit price and the order gets filled and bring those purchased shares to the market when it opens to sell for profit-is that correct?
Amazing job making money today Ross! I didn’t like anything either on the scanner except ETFR and unfortunately it was too pricey for my small account as I saw it @ $30 ripping. My minimum buy in is 100 shares and only have 4K with my 4X margin so said no as a reversal could have blown up my account. So today was a 0 trade day and happy with my decision 😊

We have a "Quadruple Witching Day" on Friday. Anticipate Activity to pick up later in the week. The previous one in June 2021 almost set an all-time market record in trading volume.

You must have put a huge amount on to make $9.7k, that spike you mentioned is a 3% increase meaning you'd need to put on $300k to make $9k from it.

Hey Ross! What brand of scanner are you currently using?
I hit my total loss about 2 weeks ago so I have stepped back from trading, and attempting to get into sim trading. Sadly, there is no quality free simulators out there. There are a lot of free sims, but they are delayed or don't allow hot keys, etc. So pretty bummed right now.
Hey Ross! Hope for an answer, what specifications do you use for your scanner? also do you use a specific scanning platform? i know you have talked about this before but I can't find the video.
