While many investors were disappointed by Tesla's battery day but missed the entire point of the presentation. In this video, I cover why you should be excited about Tesla's battery day.
For Tesla’s prototype line in Fremont, I made a mistake when I switched the operational electric consumption with the battery output. The actual output is 10 gigawatt hours and the operational electrical consumption is 92.8 gigawatt hours. Now, this is still a substantial amount. Tesla’s prototype line is literally manufacturing a third of the gigafactory one’s battery capacity.

Something like magnesium NH3 ammonia battery could also work in the future, but also Sabatier CNG from electrolysis H2 + air CO2 so zero carbon cycle cheap but only on the basis of new nuclear power or cold fusion with a much more efficient turbine.

Daily lithium price explosion and import gas price rallies real cold winter expected to fight global warming alone.

Especially after a hurricane or a hurricane as a wind farm broken.

Cheat packs at only + 2ppm / year are CO2 dangers, so only again in 2070 + 100ppm +0 5 ° C minus cooling of sulfur and the problem is above all a lack of lithium. In purely electric cars, hybrid also saves on charging infrastructure, the lithium price in 2021 already quadrupled and there is a CO2 reduction without green excess electricity, often absolutely too little in the world, anyway not with electric cars and electric trains with line losses and little brake recuperation and a lot of coal & gas flow approx. 40% are only diesel routes without a catalytic converter the locomotives and without centrifugal filters in coal-fired power plants in coal-gas power trains in the world.

All over the world, oil, gas & coal is increasing all the time, also in Germany, gas imports instead of fracking when nuclear power is stopped.

2017 approx. 4% energy from solar and wind power approx. 20% electricity.

700+ bar CNG hybrid car is also cheap in the long term with Sabatier CNG from H2 + air CO2 based on nuclear power or cold fusion with efficient turbines, which also saves heating gas.

Only a little more CO2 if coal is burned instead of gas, but not in the overall balance with long transport routes and a lot of methane slip

more and more imports dependent on 2016 gas import world champion and 1st lignite production

also No. 6 Import Oil & Coal.

Braunkohleproduktion

dazu Nr.  6 Import Öl & Kohle.

"advertising is the last priority for tesla" that's why he made a stupid show around the cybertruck, presented for about 5 minutes the properties of plexiglass, a material known for decades, like it was groundbreaking, and then failed miserably to proove that the cybertruck was effectively bulletproff.
Then he did the presentation of the tesla bot with a half-assed choregraphy to mask the fact that they have not product at all.

He say whatever he feels cool to say at the moment, no matter if it's in contradiction with its actions or what he has previously said…

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Miguel Sanchez says:

    Not to advertise!!!???
    Bullshit
Elon pulls constantly attention needy stunts
His mining is NOTHING BUT A THREAT to pressure prices
It doesn't need to work at all!!!

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Miguel Sanchez says:

    Elon needs ego stocking.
But he wants to be praised without having to tell people…it wouldn't be the same.

If the compact car only has room for a battery half the size of the current Model 3, with energy density increase of 14% would alone make the car go 205 miles on a charge, and that's not including the fact that it's a smaller car so it would be more efficient from that alone, or the fact that because it's a structural battery it will be even lighter.

What I am curious about is Tesla's 170wh/kg batteries vs their current 240wh/kg (it goes up so fast this may not be accurate) but if the wheelbase is 1.5 feet shorter and the wheelbase of the model 3 is 115, the batter is that minus wheels (95 inches) so the battery would be 77 inches long 81% the physical size and 69% energy density..

    So 353×0.81×0.69=197 miles

So even in the worst case scenario this small car will go at least 200 miles, and that's the worst case scenario.

But we also have to remember that Tesla increases their energy density by 5% every year and that energy density was in 2020 The car will be coming out in 2023 (197 or 205 miles) x 1.05^3=228~237

I keep running all these numbers because I'm getting antsy from not getting any updates about it (because I'm going to be buying it)

Some very good info covered here!
Can't wait to get my Cybertruck and drive it coast to coast, stopping only 4 times (for vehicle energy) in total.
    THAT'S good battery performance!!!

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Chris Jenkins says:

I’m sorry but, Battery Day was all smoke-n-mirrors. All they did was take 5 small batteries and combine them into 1 big battery then, abracadabra, you have a battery that has 5 times more energy than it’s little brother. 😂🤣😂

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Srini Iyer says:

I saw the entire Battery Day event, and figures presented could be summed up only as “revolutionary”, period.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars himos 784 says:

funny how Panasonic can say they can increase but when I tried there AAA battery on a Gameboy Advance did not even last for 2 hrs….. wahehehhe Energizer lasted 2 days before it got low batt… wahehehhe.

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Bo McGillacutty says:

Some of this is unique, WELL DONE Sir. I remain skeptical of Tesla mining producing results anytime soon UNLESS they have been at this for say 5 yrs. Bureaucratic friction alone can take that long. The problem with mining Co.s is the price for Li is too low to warrant investments necessary to massively ramp up production. Li is going to get tight next yr! Their bargaining position will not help much in this instance.

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Gammon says:

Don’t feed the Bears, they believe enough lies and misinformation about Tesla as it is. No matter how much money they lose shorting Tesla they still keep throwing more at it

SOON THE ELECTRIC GRIDS WILL BE OVERLOADED . MUNICIPAL POWER SUPPLY WAS NEVER DESIGNED TO HANDLE PEOPLE ALL USING ELECTRIC CARS . THEN WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Patrick Paterson says:

I like how there was that one video about the Osbourne effect and Tesla and now every Tesla video has a bunch of comments about it.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars AK 565 says:

Run this past me again…. Larger batteries charging in the same amount of time is not a tech improvement? More kWh into a battery of the same size is not a tech improvement? Producing the same capacity battery at a lower cost is not a tech improvement?

It sounds like many in the audience didn't understand what was actually being said so they focused on the intonation & body language of the speakers. Anyone who's hard of hearing or has struggled with a new language can tell you that's not an effective strategy in settings like this one.

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Diamanté Lomax says:

I'm confused all I see is people saying how many people hate on tesla or don't understand but all I see is circle jerk videos like this praising it i challenge some to find more then 5 videos hating when there are thousands singing his praises not hating on tesla just the people saying how many people are

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Yousef Ahmad says:

I was like damn this is long lemme see if I'll watch the whole thing. You made such a quality video that I stayed interested and impressed the whole time. Keep it up man.

70's: The world does not need more than 1000 computers
80's: 640Kb is more than enough for everyone
90's: Internet is a waste of your time
00's: Machine learning is to power intensive for machines
10's: Qantum computing is never actualy going to solve math problems

Also 50's: We will have working fusion power in 50 years from now
I'm a software engineer not a battery engineer. But they will have the same experiance in there own field

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Martin Boyd says:

I don't think they lied. The audience just didn't appreciate the plethora of AMAZING improvements. I don't think I've ever seen so many significant innovations in one presentation. Telsa understands the risk we face with Global Warming and is doing everything it can to change the Keeling curve. If only other corporations as well as each of us individually would take Global Warming as seriously as Tesla!!!

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars James Irwin says:

Anyone who sold their stock because of battery day wasn't listening to what was said on battery day.

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Sandeep Shetty says:

Musk wants to buy back Tesla public shareholding and go private and is not keen on the stock prices going up…he has claimed it openly

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Benjamin Chen says:

Tesla into Lithium mining is as big news for me as Apple making its own silicon.
There are going to be interesting changes in the mining industry, if this venture succeeds.

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars zigmeisterful says:

Tesla lies to keep their competitors on their toes. If you understate everything that you're doing, the competition will attempt to beat your understated claims, all the while they're actually playing catchup without realizing that you're still another whole step ahead of them.

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mark Edwards says:

I was amazed that other people didn’t get as excited as I did after watching the battery day presentations. To me it was clear that they had a number of game changing technologies and a clear roadmap. I went and sold off some other stocks and bought some more TSLA.

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dan Albertson says:

Was in batteries during my career and thought battery day was huge news. These advantages will help Tesla continue to compete against car manufacturers with larger manufacturing and distribution networks as they enter the EV space.

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tom55data says:

Battery day was huge, that the ordinary investor and the media did not understand the significance just shows they need a proper education in science and engineering.

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars fliteshare says:

That 92800 MegaWatthour equals 92.8 GigaWatthour.
    Who would've thought ?
Any other brilliant observations that could be drawn from this expose ?
    And before I forget:
Car manufacturers that understand production scaling more than anyone else, are exactly Volkswagen and Toyota.
Just to point at a flaw in your argument.
