I love Cathie but curing cancer doesn’t necessarily mean monetisation. What if it only happens or applicable to those who are very rich? If sth is not to be affordable by the general public, the stock price can’t go very high. If you say yeah the cost will go down in the future. Yeah it probably will, but how long? 25-30 years? That’s too long for an investment.
I’m interested in Crispr and already hold the sector a little in my portfolio, but the sector shouldn’t be anyone biggest portion as the risk is too high and most of us have no very deep knowledge about it even though we had done a research. It all depends on how the government and pharmaceutical companies handle it ultimately. I’ll still buy but just little imo.
Pacbio had its first profitable year thanks to the money they got from illumina for the failed acquisition. Illumina is still #1 in the industry and had increased sales with pandemic testing.

It's really really annoying, because Elon has this amazing army of people that are behind him every single turn, talking about him constantly to their friends and family and literally going out to meet new people just to tell them about this mission. And then you all keep making these pointless videos, about how he's losing ground with Tesla and I'm sure there's a bunch of SpaceX videos about it as well I just haven't ended up seeing any yet. But it's really really funny because you don't understand that no matter what happens in the temporary, Elon musk is just going to slept all these other companies around like ragdolls. I'm not sure what his circle of financial advice or business advice is but apparently it's pretty freaking high because man really really knows what he's doing, or if he doesn't have any trainings he is just a simple financial genius.or so many people like him that the star just keeps going up. Cathie should invest in SHLX – SHLX – Shell Midstream Partners declares $0.46 dividend for 02-02-2020, the stock is CHEAP now comparing to $22/share before the pandemic but still makes almost the same profits as before pandemic it is because it has long-term contracts for the transportation of oil and gas in its pipelines regardless of oil price (people still need gas for cooking and heating in some states)

The Ark ETFs such as ARKG, have a fairly hefty expense ratio of 0.75%. If the genomics medical disruption is something that excites you as a buy and hold strategy then consider buying the holdings directly. Always look under the hood of ETFs
When I first heard about cryptocurrency I was not interested because my mindset was what changes will it bring to the world but when I began to carry out some deep research of what it is about I was more than interested because the opportunities it presents is very wide and can equally make someone wealthy. Sucks that I only discover arkg into second half of 2020, before I didn’t realize there is a arkg stocks focus on genomics stocks so I was going for some biotech stocks so I just roll them to arkg once I discovered that, I strongly believe in genomics since 2018.

I'm sure in 20 years people will look back in their perfect bodies and think "well duh, of course genomics would be big". Today they are like "what about trials, what about market cap, I wonder if anyone will trust it?". Believe me, when your option is a certain death or hope, you'll chose hope every single time.
When Tesla drops it will fall like a brick… So massively overvalued. I would not short the stock but I definitely would not be buying at these sky high levels.
