I learned one BIG thing, and that's about what your stop loss should be relative to the price of the stock.
Ex. if you had a general stop loss of 10% (in general ignoring any support for the time being) if it were a 1.00 stock, that would only be 10 cents and you'd cut it at 0.90, however, if it were a 10.00 stock, 10% is a whole dollar, so you'd cut it at 9.00.
Of course you'd also factor in support and resistance in your risk to reward, but to have a general understanding helps immensely.
