The Hottest Stocks To Watch: March 18

Pretty amazing to look back and notice that this ticker was on the VERY first edition of this watchlist in December 2016 when the stock was in the low $50’s. Look back at the chart and this might be one of the very best performing stocks over that period. The process we use to generate these lists consistently finds these types of charts.
Bring up the 2-year chart and review the notes from December 2016, all comments remain pertinent:

Microsoft Corporation (MSFT)
Interesting breakout on Friday, huge company that moves slow, but if you are learning and not yet ready to dive into really volatile lower priced stock this is a solid chart on a company everybody knows that currently seems to be really turning things around. I’m a big believer in Microsoft going into the next couple years- and this is coming from a ten year Apple fanboy.
$YETI
Another repeat mention on this list breaking out to new highs. Trendy stock, solid chart, recent IPO. We often compare this stock to GoPro when it comes to “cultish” following. While GoPro eventually faded after its IPO it went from $30 to $100 per share first. Any late day pushes to new highs should be watched for potential swing trades.
$TEUM
This past Monday 3/11/2019 Lead Trainer Tim Bohen went over this stock LIVE at the TradersExpo in New York City. Using our preset charts and the tools built into StocksToTrade he walked the attendees through a possible trade in the low $4’s.
The stock closed the week at $5.21, a 30% gain in just one week. Look for any weak open red/green type moves this week.

We first had this one watch a couple of weeks ago when gapped up and broke out in the high teens. Since then it has based and consolidated, then rebroke higher into the end of the week. That gives us the technical chart setup we look for on swing trades, then couple that with a solid fundamental idea.
Gene testing and editing is very hot right now in the media. Last weeks Barrons cover story was based on the emerging business that $NVTA is in. CRISPR and other gene technologies could be the next big technological breakout.
