First, you gotta know the reason for stock pumps. Often, the only reason OTCs and pink sheets trade is to sell stock. And these sketchy companies can lure people into buying their stock so insiders can sell shares at inflated prices.
Check out Optec International Inc (OTCPK: OPTI). It spiked six times just this summer — and failed every time. That’s what these stocks do. Tune in for the OPTI chart. This company used to be in the auto industry and now they’ve pivoted into coronavirus PPE.
So, what’s a stock pump? You’ve got a sketchy, struggling company that’s desperate for money.
It issues a press release related to a hot sector. During the pandemic, it could be a UV light device for killing coronavirus.
Part of the recipe is the timing of this press release … typically, around 8 or 9 a.m. This brings in the early buyers, the FOMO traders.
The hype builds and the stock runs up. Insiders sell into strength, then traders and investors scramble to get out. The stock slams back down.
How do you confirm it’s a pump? There are plenty of red flags you need to check first. Pumps are definitely not trades you want to be trapped in. So tune in to find out what you must know.
You can trade these stocks ... but be careful and skeptical. Remember, these are short-term trades, not long-term investments.

It was interesting watching this video after I've been loading up after the spike to 20 cents. I started buying at 13.5 and have been averaging-down forever, married to this thing like a super-duper…average is only 4 cents now, so, I think I will be okay. On the other hand, ZN (Zion Gas) has been on NASDAQ forever but got delisted to OTC as ZNOG, and they're about to drill for oil in Israel…went from 15 cents to 50…will probably fly…fwiw.

Thank you so much for exposing $OPTI! I was starting to suspect that they are a P & D but couldn't figure that out until you explained it. Luckily I only invested $100 to feel it out. Now I know not to get sucked in further. Bought for .12 and set up GTC sell order for .20 so I don't have to babysit it anymore. (Now they're saying there's @ $600k revenue so maybe this one turns legit lol.)

HALB & INNO last 2 days.. These OTC's, although CRAP, can multiply your account QUICKLY.
MADE A KILLING on OPTI the last 2-3 months. Probably traded it 10x. Great Video. I bought it @ $0.0305 & next morning, NAILED top due to level 2 @ $0.064
