I’ve got good news and bad news…
Let’s start with the bad news. Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) had a nasty wake-up call thanks to this morning’s big FDA announcement … As of the premarket, I predicted it could create a sour mood in the stock market. It might be a day to stay conservative.
As for the good news? There’s a big crypto IPO happening tomorrow … Bitcoin’s at all-time highs.
Here’s what’s going on today…
Given the Coinbase IPO (to be listed as NASDAQ: COIN) happening tomorrow, I’m carefully watching sympathy plays like Riot Blockchain Inc (NASDAQ: RIOT) and Marathon Digital Holdings Inc (NASDAQ: MARA). I talk about what I’ll be looking for in the next few days...
Sos Ltd (NYSE: SOS) had some news the other day. It doesn’t seem to have had a big effect on the stock — it failed yesterday morning. I’m not sure if anyone will care about it today...
Ebang International Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: EBON) is green today based on an open letter to shareholders. What on earth could it say, “We’re not sketchy?” Blah, blah, blah. No matter what they say, I think it’s a rotten stock.
We talked about Auris Medical Holding Ltd (NASDAQ: EARS) … They dropped some news, but it’s dead.
Overall, I’m bullish on Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT). I love the company, and it’s had some moves lately. Yet despite my positive outlook in the long term, I explain why I don’t know if today is the day to be trading a stock like this…
On the other hand, Novocure Ltd. (NASDAQ: NVCR) is a cancer play with some amazing news. It had a massive move in the premarket. This is a higher-priced play, so it might not be accessible to everyone depending on account size...
