But I’ve gotta say, right now there are a lot of swing trade opportunities out there.
Earnings season is starting up, and that’s often a great time to explore slower-moving stocks that keep grinding higher...
Here’s what’s going on today…
Yesterday, I talked about International Business Machines (NYSE: IBM). It checked every box on Tuesday night. I said yesterday that I loved it as a swing trade. It’s continued to grind higher since then.
If you’re risk-averse and don’t like sketchy penny stocks or you don’t have a schedule that permits day trading, stocks like this could be worth watching...
Ocugen Inc. (NASDAQ: OCGN) was my big watch yesterday. It ended up making the move I was hoping for … but later than I would have liked.
Even though I don’t suggest after-hours trading for newbies, I do want you to check out yesterday’s chart. I want you to see what happens with a play like this when it breaks highs in the afternoon.
Sketchy or stupid? A brief visit to the Skillz Inc. (NYSE: SKLZ) website alerted me to quite a few red flags. The stock is also higher float than I like.
But it’s in a hot sector, and it appears to understand the penny stock game. It could be a chat pump. I talk through potential strategies for plays like this.

A follower asked about vTv Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: VTVT) … Nope. No news. The chart sucks. Red for days in a row. Let’s move on!
Interesting … It appears that Greenpro Capital Corp. (NASDAQ: GRNQ) made a pivot into NFT (non-fungible token) territory The chart’s a disaster, but it’s capitalizing on a hot sector and grabbing attention. It could be an afternoon VWAP hold contender…
Uxin Ltd. (NASDAQ: UXIN) had a big move yesterday. As for today, my general sentiment is “meh.” I’d consider it an afternoon VWAP-hold play only.
