Well, yesterday was interesting.
Between cryptos crashing and the ugly market, there wasn’t a lot in play. Many traders chose to stay in defense mode.
There seems to be a little more activity going on as of the pre-market today … Hopefully we’ll get some movers!
Here’s what I’m watching today…
I’ve talked about Peloton Interactive Inc. (NASDAQ: PTON) as a swing idea so many times that a lot of you are probably sick of it. But it’s held above the $95 area all through the past shaky week and a half.
I definitely gravitate toward swing trade ideas in this type of market, so I’ve also got a backup swing watch — HyreCar Inc (NASDAQ: HYRE).
I love the space race! I think we could be going into a new golden era of space exploration. Could that be a good thing for stocks like Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc (NYSE: SPCE)?
They just announced some solid news. I was looking at it as a potential dip and rip in the premarket, but it could be in play all day.
Aerpio Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: ARPO) was one of my top watches yesterday. I thought that if it broke $2, it was gonna rip faces off. It broke $2, but it didn’t go wild. That being said, if it goes from red to green this morning, it could be in play.
A follower asked about Uxin Ltd. (NASDAQ: UXIN) … As of the premarket, I thought it had potential as a weak open red-to-green or afternoon VWAP hold. That’s the standard plan for a stock that closes at 52-week highs and the high of the day...
I like that it’s low float … but I don’t like much else about Lexaria Bioscience Corp. (NASDAQ: LEXX). It’s CBD-related — that’s the deadest part of the weed sector. It also has a disgusting chart. Personally, I’d focus elsewhere...
We talked about MoSys Inc. (NASDAQ: MOSY) in the SteadyTrade Team quite a bit yesterday.
It had some BS news and gapped up big. It’s relatively low float. It had great volume. But it was a chop-fest. I mostly blame the sell-off yesterday more than the stock. I talk about what levels I’ll be looking for today…
