Here’s what I’m watching today…
Clover Health Investments Corp. (NASDAQ: CLOV) remains a top watch. It was absolutely beautiful yesterday and had an early morning gap up today.
Short sellers are licking their chops … I caution about the dangers of attempting to short a stock like this.
As of the premarket, I’ll be looking for morning dip and rips and afternoon VWAP holds. If it dies, it dies. Let the shorts have their crumbs.
A follower asked about Clovis Oncology Inc. (NASDAQ: CLVS) over $7.50. Yep — I love it at whole-dollar and half-dollar levels. I have fond memories of this stock spiking during TradersExpo in 2019. I talked about it live, and it squeezed — as if to prove my point.
More recently, WallStreetBets has been talking about this one, which makes it a definite watch…
Another top watch? ContextLogic Inc. (NASDAQ: WISH). It had a beautiful squeeze after hours. I’ll be watching this day-one squeezer today.
But remember — this ticker has $10 of range. If you have a small account, you don’t want to go into a stock like this with a huge position size. I go into detail about proper sizing for stocks with wild range...
As of the premarket, I’ll be looking at a $17 dip and rip with risk set around $16.
Antelope Enterprise Holdings Ltd. (NASDAQ AEHL) was a breakout in the premarket...
However, I think there are a lot of eyeballs on a lot of other ideas like CLVS and WISH, so this one is on the back burner play for me. Personally, I’ll let this one set the top and keep an eye on it at 9:45 or later.
Dang … 20 million shares traded in the premarket!? Aethlon Medical, Inc. (NASDAQ: AEMD) is proof of just how wild the stock market has gotten since 2020.
However, with a big move and a big pullback like this, I suggest waiting to see what this stock does. It might be a better contender for an afternoon VWAP-hold play...
I didn’t really get a chance to talk about them in detail, but for the record, I’ll also be watching
AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. (NYSE: AMC) and Ocugen Inc. (NASDAQ: OCGN) for potential red-to-green moves.
