What happens when the masses crowd a niche in the stock market?
Things change.
When I started trading, I mainly went short. But then, in 2015, a lot more people started shorting. It made things more difficult, so I shifted my strategy.
I don’t care if you go long or short. If the market changes, you must be willing to adapt.

Here’s what I’m watching today…
No big surprise that Alfi Inc. (NASDAQ: ALF) remains a watch. But I’ve gotta explain something to the newbies out there. This is not the type of stock anyone should believe in. It probably shouldn’t be at all-time highs. And it probably shouldn’t be breaking out...
But traders with no understanding of risk management are trying to guess the top. It keeps squeezing the price higher, and there can be an edge in that.
It’s similar to what happened with Clover Health Investments Corp. (NASDAQ: CLOV) a few weeks ago. Look back at that chart and check out its big spike and what happened in the aftermath. Now, CLOV is back at an appropriate level.
It’s not over yet with ALF. I’ll be looking at whole-dollar and half-dollar levels all day…
Speaking of CLOV, someone mentioned a bounce. Personally, I’d love to see a squeeze but I see too much overhead resistance at the moment. I’m in no rush...
Bio-Path Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: BPTH) is a former runner. It’s low float. But it’s a one-and-done chart, so as of the premarket I’d say it’s a 9:45 a.m. or later play only.
Former runner vTv Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: VTVT) has an OK float but the chart is terrible. I think more eyes will be on ALF, so this one is fairly low-priority for me.
A follower mentioned that Moxian Inc. (NASDAQ: MOXC) had a nice short squeeze yesterday. It sure did! It could be a contender for a weak open red-to-green...
After a nice breakout, Adial Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: ADIL) continues to be a watch. The volume and news are there. I’ll be looking for breaks of $4 and VWAP holds…
