Hello! Thanks so much for your videos! I do have one question about the short position though. When you mention about looking to short a market, it means that you had to be long first in order to even short, right? I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around the concept of riding a downtrend for profits as a trader that way. Does that mean that when a trader is shorting due to anticipating a lower price, and after going short he's staying short; that is the trader is not buying/longing at all, and only finally going long when the trader anticipates that the weaker leg of a downtrend (a retracement back up) is coming next, so that the can short it later due to anticipating a resumption of the bigger move (the downtrend)? Or for riding a downtrend taking the short position, is the assumption that the trader has to borrow (use margin/leverage) on the instrument in order to take a short position without having had a long position beforehand should he want to go the short route in say, a downtrend? I feel like I understand your examples easily when they involve uptrends and the key points for going long, as well as the concept of going short after going long and riding uptrends, but have a lot of difficulty understanding how to ride a downtrend in a way that results in gains for myself as a trader. So if you could do a more in depth video on taking the short position and riding the downtrend and how would the long position, or the borrowing of an instrument would have had to take place for the ride throughout that downtrend to result in a profit would be great!
    All the best!
