Only because of discipline few times I've made over 100k but still in loss for over trading . Even after withdraw the Money into my Bank account. Then reinvest and loss again 🙄
Nice video
Great advice!
SUPER SIR
Go big or go home? chances are go home. Hahaha.. True. Baby step.
what trips me up is i'm in a chatroom with people who take tens of daytrades a day. i'm thinkin how are you guys really that undisciplined and still consistently profitable… if i take one solid perfect gameplan trade i'm usually done for the day..
i am currently using a few strategies, should i focus on one?
I've started to use a checklist (as my plan) for each trade before I get in. This at minimum prevents impulsive trades, and also reinforces the discipline that I will only take a trade if it meets the criteria per my checklist. I then add comments after the trade, so in effect I have a trading journal whereby I maximize my earning & learning from each trade.
rayner, at begining we all learn from somebody and at the end we actually compile and decide which style that best suited you. even trading there are hugely variable strategy from richard denis style turtle trend following to a intermediate style eg swing counter trend swing trading to momentum trading breakout. and scalping. Plus market is dynamic from forex future commodity equity options where by principle is the same but there is minor variabilty eg forex use pips and equity number of shares and future will be number of contracts. of course there is no single best guru out there. if you can give a lead to some learning skill for the beginner or intermediate – then follow with the advance module where should this group getting it from. that will be fantastic. thank in advance. is there any particular trading system that you use to find trade. and is there any software where you screen for golden cross over. and major breakout, did you look at vix fear index, and CRB index, follow with baltic dry index.?
thanks
Hi Rayner , can you make a separate video about Risk Management and Trade Management and how many open positions do you prefer to have at a time .
how long does it takes you to become consistent at the beginning….?
I'm a new trader practicing on paper first, but I'm learning to discipline myself first with the trading plan I have and being consistent. this is a great post-simple, yet profound!
That hits the issue of trading discipline right on the button. Great post.
