amazing
This is the best trading lessons that I seen🎉
For method 1-3, do we only look at engulfing pattern? and if there isn't any, what should we do?
Thank you so much
Hello teacher thanks for your help
I have a question about ATR: let’s say dax ATR is 150 points . Let’s say it closed yesterday at 15500, today it gaps up 40 points and the low of today is so far 1580, is the ATR then calculated from the close of yesterday and 150 points up or from todays lows I.e. 1580 ? So basically is the gap up that happened today included in todays ATR calculation or no it’s just from the todays range based on the low and high excluding the gap up it self ..? Would appreciate your thoughts since I searched on google and YouTube without any clear answers ..
Thanks again Rayner
Your content is awesome!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Can this concept use for long ?
Good knowledge
Hi, Can you let me know what does ATR = Less Volatility or ATR = High Volatility Means
If its Less Volatility does that mean market might move the order direction
If its High Volatility does it means that it might keep moving same direction as it is moving to (e.g. BUY)
CNT WE USE BOLLINGER BANDS FOR THE SAME?
It's work good in intraday 5min or 15 mint time ?
Great stuff, nice and Clear! Thank you Rayner!
nice video ! but you should really use dark mode my eye hurt lmao
Excellent presentation to the point.
I can suggest to consider ATR based on percentage instead of absolute value when considering the lowest ATR value.
This is because if the value of the instrument varies in an important value the ATR will exhibit meaningless number because a 10$ price might have an ATR of 0.75$ and once the price reaches 25$ the ATR might be 1.88$. In absolute value there is a difference of 1.13$ that has completely different meaning. But in % both have a value au round 7.5% that shows a consistency in the volatility.
Also it could be compared to other instruments with considerable difference in ATR in absolute value as for example a stock with a price in the 300$ range that can exhibits an ATR of 30 !
Food for thoughts.
Keep the good work.
Awesome content! Thanks Rayner. But, how to screen for multiyear low ATR?
What's best for trading I don't like think or swim
who secced in this strategy. please suggest optimal atr period and milti for whta timeframe
If I’m trading on the 1hr timeframe and the 4hr timeframe is my higher timeframe, can I still refer to the weekly ATR when it’s at multi-year low value to watch for something big happening?
Awesome work Mr R . Can you show more Long stop loss procedures, love your TA mate
isnt it that when you have your highest/lowest plus minus 1 atr. it will be hard to achieve R:R? with the setup you might end up with 150 till 200 pips SL. you need to put 300 at least for 1:2 RR… that is very hard… dont you think ?
Thanks for your teaching. I appreciate!
Hey hey hey Rayner.. Just wanted you to know that I am a very huge fan of yours. I literally understand now and improving too while trading. Credits to you as well 😘
Can you please take an example of NIFTY index and show 1.5 ATR , Support/Resistance breakout concept
GOOD CONTENT
Why ATR(20) is used ? What"s it's significance ?
You are superb. Very lucid explanation
can i use this for options trading ?
Thank you. Very well presented.
Great video. Do you use volume?
Better just to draw trendlines. When trend is over buy/sell signal. Works on all time frames. Simple strategy.
It looks to me that the indicator is moving in line with the candles therefore it’s not letting you know before the fact therefore is useless.
