Also, find someone who knows a house inside and out to inspect the properties. Someone who works on houses everyday, has a waiting list of clients and pay them to go with you to find the hidden things you don't know to look for yet.

Take a van down by the river then build a cabin a little high off the ground. The. U can get a drive put in and landscape. Doesn't take much to be happy

30 year loans are spendy. When you factor the amortization schedule, you can buy another house with the added interest they charge over that time. 15 year fixed rate mortgages are the way to go.
