only thing id remove on that checklist is RSI below 50 requirement. you can still get plenty of upside with a RSI in the 60's (for day/swing trading).

Appreciate you keeping it real Ricky. I made similar mistakes on Crude oil yesterday. I rode an upswing after the API report and the upswing after the EIA report. It was one if the lowest inventory counts all year and I expected the price to head towards 58-59, but for some unexplainable reason it dropped to 55 in a matter of about 2 hours after the EIA report (I should've paid attention to the RSI which was heavily overbought). I've still kept my position open as I can't afford to do away with that much money. I hope to recover it in the next couple days. My broker charges me overnight interest every day, smh. Wish me luck

I had $3,800 set aside for when the crude oil report came out.
So I had my watchlist all set up with what I was gonna focus on.
Right off the hop what I expected didnβt happen. I chose to hold out because what was happening wasnβt was what I though would be expected.
In mean time. I locked in some profits and sold some AMD @34.19.
Immediately thought I made a bad decision.
By the days end saw the pullback. Tomorrow Iβm gonna (potentiality) buy back with more shares with the same money. (AND didnβt use a PDT ding) πͺπΌ Swing trade I guess we call it?
Either way at the peak of the day Iβm deep in(stop loss limits set)
We will see how this goes.
If it goes up I will raise the stop loss order.
If it goes down I have locked in the profits Iβm willing to gamble.

I was locked into DWT yestday because of the PDT rule. I forgot it existed cause I usually swing trade. I went from being up 2%, to being down 4% by the end of the day. I sold today when I market open. Sadly it recovered as /CL tanked. As long as I learn from that mistake, I don't even see it as a lost. By the way my account is down 1.5% from that trade. But that trade itself depreciated 4%
