I want to open margin account but do i have to borrow the buying power they are offering you or can i just use my available cash only on margin account?
In India brokers provide 10-100x Leverage for intraday
For clarification Ricky I trade 3x leverages ETFs with TDA as well. They allow only 10% margin on those.
I am having difficulties understanding options and why would I need to use them. I find day trading and swing trading an easier pattern to understand. Anyone?

Very glad that you don't use leverage and you teach new traders not to so as well.
What website do he use to trade?
I use leverage in my M1 because I can easily do nothing and still be able to pay the low 3.5% interest. Tax time I can get a refund for the investment expense (can't day trade in m1, I know).
I would use leverage in my webull and rh accounts but the interests are a bit too high. Even though they are play accounts there's just too much pressure to gain alpha and also gain enough to pay the interest.
