Good video but what you are talking about is not using margin margin is when you use their money and you pay a very high interest rate on it what you were talking about is instant deposit where you don’t have to wait two or three days for your funds to clear that is way different than margin in case some people are confused🫡

Such a garbage rule. I’ve lost out on more money opportunities than I’ve made due to this idiotic rule. It genuinely makes me angry that someone else can regulate what I do with my own freaking money

Dude you are just great! What's not to like. I've already had my butt kicked as a new margin trader. It can only get better.
Just use a cash account and you can make 10 trades a day at ten percent of its value or even more.
If you know what you're doing the PDT rule is your best friend because it wipes out so many people who don't know how to work around it. There's no need to make so many trades or to be daytrading anything. There are also ways to "trade" a position intraday without ever making a single daytrade. Those who don't know this likely make other mistakes.

It still makes no sense why its a $25k gatekeep minimum. Its seems like an unfair privilege for rich people. And being rich doesn't mean you're smart about risk or smart in general.
On webull it is saying something about settled funds unsettled funds violation I am trying to make about 10 trades a day can someone help me with this without having $25000 in the account??. I see traders all day trading in and out of trades throughout the day and don't understand why it's not allowing me

how does having 25k "earn" to do unlimited day trades? The system is set up to help those who have money and not the poor man trying to come up. Otherwise, what's the purpose of the workaround rule of 25k? For those who don't understand the power and freedom of unlimited trades, you don't know about scalping, minimal gains/losses multiple times a day, safe from big losses.

This video had nothing at all to do with the title.
It's not the governments place to tell me how to trade and when to trade. Forcing a trader to take only a few trades is not a benefit but a hindrance. Not every trade is going to work when you plan it and send an order but the same trade can show it's self again the exact same way again and work. People don't become profitable or become good traders by analyzing and watching charts. It's risk management and emotional control and a new trader can only get this with exposure to the market.
I just wish the government would step out the way and let adults be adults and stop treating people like children.
Paper trade does not help for one they don’t let you set up stop loss and that’s a big feature thats needed for day traders
I've never heard a sensible justification for the pdt rule.
It doesn't empower anything. It's a nanny state rule that stands in the way of individual wealth building. if it serves to protect against a real risk, that risk is only greater at 25k+. Those who seek to limit your abilities with the claim of doing so for your protection, usually have an ulterior motive.
Hope someone else can tell me – but a Day trade is 3 out of 5 weeks. So if on Monday, can I buy and sell an infinite amount of stocks? If I buy Apple at @ $10 share and sold it for $10.50 and thorughout the day I get some opportunity so I keep buying and selling the same stock. Is that considered 1 day trade? or is it 1:1? meaning I can only buy and sell one stock in a day? What about if I buy and sell facebook, apple, amazon throughout 1 day?
