The lesson here is not to be afraid to take your profit and re-enter the trade.
When you're $3,000 up, why would you gamble on taking more when you don't need to? It's up to you to make your own rules on targets, but I would personally be banking trades over $1,000 at a time. You can always re-enter if you're sure a trend will eventually continue in the same direction, but if it completely turns, you'll be ruing not cashing in while you were up.
Go look at SES now , a week later and it’s $7. He said it would go to 13,14,15 even 20. I don’t think it ever went past $12. I know we all want to make money but these kind of moves will keep you poor longer. Warren Buffet and William O’Neil didn’t get rich over night. It takes time for real investments to grow and after a year you make even more because long term capital gains tax rate is low. Bottom line, stop wasting your time and money with pump and dumps. Invest your money more wisely and it doesn’t have to be stocks. Get a website and monetize your skills. Or go to college and learn a skill that is in your field and will get you a pay bump. Be smart out there!
