I don't see why you're that experienced and still using ToS? It's known for being slow, freezing, lag, etc. Why are you not using paid and fast brokers like Lightspeed or something? Would it have even made a difference in this situation, though?

left td and got with lightspeed, you'd be a beast on lightspeed con. fastest platform I've ever used.
TOS is not fast enough for day trading. My last trade with tos I lost $6k and that’s the day I signed up with lightspeed.

Trying to avoid making mistakes is definitely the most important lesson of the markets. I also do finance videos.
3 things wrong:
1. Didn't take profits at major resistance and you were up 300
2. Didn't have a stop in
3. Took eyes off screen and looked at something else, especially on a volitile penny stock at the open
You're still the GOAT. At least you aren't like the poor saps who got into UONE at $50.

The problem with stock trading is not that it is frustrating/too risky. However, when someone who is not knowledgeable tries to trade stocks, he will definitely lose money. The problem is that people are very anxious to make money and they don’t take the time to learn business. There is no luck in stock trading it only works perfectly with the right strategy, Luka Godfrey got the winning strategy, trading with him, got me to where I am today.

I can confirm Connor can trade with Market orders easily as he selects very well his stocks. Even with slippage he makes good money. Different traders, different strategies. To me, the only issue in this trade was a bit of FOMO. (ps: I sometimes do trade myself market orders too and that doesn't make me red on my P/L).

This very thing happened to me before. So with all my penny stocks I started only doing limit orders but found out that even in limit orders they allow price slippages

Its the Ameritrade TOS shit platform that screwed you. Had similar incidents happen to me before.
This is EXACTLY what happened to me today on WIN. Tried scalping at the top, stock was put on pause and crashed when unpaused. Lost all profits that I had built up since March lol. It's okay though, there are so many lessons to be learned trading stocks that a person acquires over time and effort. Just one more rule to add to my list.
TOS is a piece of shit, I would NOT put real money into it, even paper trading was not working today. Only good thing in TOS is their charting, but that’s all.
