After having the card for two months I asked for a 3x increase I went from 2k to 6k easy peasy. Thank you for the info
I ask Amex for a 3x credit limit increase on my first attempt. Amex approved my request for a credit limit increase by 2x. I waited three months. I request a 3x credit limit increase to Amex. Amex approved my request by 2x again on second attempt.

How would this work for gold amex since it has no preset
Literally went on amex and requested a 3x on my everyday card and got approved immediately, I did the same thing a couple of months ago and they denied it… I think I requested too much. Thanks!! I sure didn't understand because they gave me an increase on my gold delta card without me even asking and the limit is much higher

My girlfriend’s card had a 2G limit hardly use’s the card. Asked online for 15G they gave the 3X now 6G.

I just did it on a lark. Trebled my Amex credit increase and it was automatically approved. Total effort was less than 10 seconds, and that is being generous. Thank you, Brian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You forgot to mention that if you go past $32,000 on a single personal credit card it will send you into a financial review with American Express.
