If this lockdown contineus for more than a few months you could see massive mortgagae defaults and foreclosures due to this forced economic shutdown. Time to be realistic.
Educating consumers and understanding their needs, great suggestion

New Agent Here … I have a question (maybe a concern) that pertains to the long term affects of our current shift/pivot to maintain business as usual using virtual resources, such as Zoom, Docusign, Virtual Tours etc. I understand these shifts utilizing tech are pretty essential during this time, but is anyone thinking or wondering how these shifts towards a more virtual home buying selling experience could in the long haul actually result in ending the need for agents all together. So I keep hearing stats about ibuy and redfin and how they can no longer exist, but what about Exp, Zillow … are we not essentially educating the public, the buyers and the sellers that we, agents, are actually non essential and everything can be safely and more efficiently done without an agent. Are our activities actually helping to shift this industry, much like the car sales has been shifting towards online buying without the need for an agent (Carvana etc)? Just wondering if anyone is actually forecasting this or thinking about the long term affects … ARE OUR CURRENT ACTIONS HELPING OUR EXTINCTION ????
My sister owns a bar New York City. One of her big concerns is that even when they let her open up again they will severely restrict how many people can actually be i. the bar at any one time. They may say you can only have people sitting 6 feet away, which in a tight urban environment means she’ll be running at half of her capacity or less. Better be han nothing, but not full steam ahead. Just a thought.
Not in real estate but shared with my friend who is, great information!
TOOOOOOM! You are on Fire with the value bro! My YouTube channel is growing. Thanks for the inspiration!
