Nikola Founder and Chief Executive Chairman, Trevor Milton, resigns from his role as the chairman as well as a board member on NKLA, following fraud and personal misconduct accusations. Milton's departure comes at the worst time possible for Nikola, on the eve of multiple class action law suits and active SEC and DOJ investigations. In this video I will share with you my thoughts about the future of Nikola (NKLA) following the departure of Trevor Miltion and my predictions for the future of the company.

Looks like they are making Trevor the fall guy..

Any bets to see of he takes his private jet and flees since out on bail?

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars JohnWick says:

The ultimate question is will TM get prosecuted or at least investigated for this? I mean Elizabeth homes is facing prison does he hold the same fate? I hope so!

Nikola still have not deliver one single product! No credibility and no trust! TOO MUCH DRAMA with NIKOLA!

Yes, on Long hall fuel cells. Should have stayed with that.

Putting some millions into a start-up to help it build its first product, I can understand. I have trouble understanding putting those millions without seeing anything concrete though, a prototype fuel cell, a prototype electric engine, something. But putting billions on the table with only the words of a man, that with due diligence you could find was a bit sketchy, I really don't understand. I'm not a Tesla fanboy, I don't believe all the hype and I feel it's overvalued, but there is no denying that they have a product and they're selling it, and they've started with something small scale, the original roadster, based on an existing chassis and laptop batteries. There is no excuse for Nikola not having a prototype truck with at least the electric motor(s) running, even if powered by a Tesla battery !

Nikola Motor Company has been lying to share holders. Not Trevor Milton by himself, but the COMPANY has lied. It is not "ok" that Trevor quits, gets his billions of dollars, and Nikola contiunes. With what? Hydrogen Cells? The COMPANY has been lying, not just one individual!

You do well covering the financial misconduct but Nikola never had the technology to succeed. Nikola was always headed to bankruptcy it was just a matter of how fast. GM is also gone this decade, maybe sooner. GM is being disrupted. Fuel cells are truly a non-starter foolish tech. Nikola's goal is to give the impression they can succeed long enough to fool naive investors and let the insiders cash out.

Why does GM need NKLA, at one time they started the electric movement. GM could just go alone on this.

Been in truck and rail transportation since 1973. Hydrogen has not worked and will never work. Hyundai makes a few hydrogen semis for sale in Europe for a very very small niche market. It takes tremendous energy for separating hydrogen atoms from the molecule. The price of that energy makes hydrogen useless, plus the hydrogen stations cost 50 million dollars. Itโ€™s much much cheaper to run diesel trucks around. Hydrogen gas is a pernicious compressed liquid and very difficult to work with, It hates everything including stainless steel. Trevor never had anything and now GM has nothing. This is just another quarterly money grab by GM to try to look good good and temporarily boost the stock. Itโ€™s the same Detroit Corporate strategy used for half a century. Mary Barra and her friends are there to collect a paycheck , nothing more. Anybody that thinks different has been fooled by GMs propaganda.

Happy to see Milton out…what a douchebag. I'm now kinda bullish on Nikola, wierd I know. I understand Steve is an old GM ex who moved from the # 2 poistion to #1 in Nikola. Probably a catalyst to the GM NKLA deal. Still more fallout to come but I think GM seen this coming and did a power grab to gain capital in their EV race.

Iโ€™m suppressed it took so long, he should have left months ago or better yet he should have never been hired…

Great video as usual, very timely too! Just recently found out about your channel and I'm having a great time watching your old content and your takedowns of sleazebags.

As for new video ideas, can you look into eToro? I'm not sure if they are a scam but after they kept bombarding me with annoying ads I decided to look into them and I saw some shady stuff compared to other legit brokerages.

    Keep up the great work!

If it was so obvious from outside imagine how badly it'd had stunk from inside.

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Aad says:

What do you think of the recent news on his exit deal? I might be too simple-minded to fully comprehend but it sounded like he's getting away with a decent shares packages and also Nikola covering his legal expenses?

Sounds like he's getting off easy.

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Hellya says:

yeah for sure those executives have no idea whats going on, trevor is just a spokesperson

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars bArda26 says:

GM people are dinosaurs. They will fuck it up for sure. GM will maybe use nikola to sell trucks like ford sells electric suv as mustang or something. GM is swallowing this up because they don't wanna seem like bunch of idiots after the hilderburg report. I'm in disbelief that people bought this in. Even with little automotive engineering background, you could see this is very shaky with a lot of hype and not much about engineering. Some people just made millions and others became the bag holders in robinhood, unfortunately.

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Anne Archist says:

Hydrogen is purely political. It really doesn't provide any significant benefit. Weight isn't an issue, because 90% of trucks are under 73,000 pounds. So, the few thousand pounds lost on a BEV doesn't impact the vast majority of loads. Hydrogen keeps people dependent on suppliers, whereas BEV can provide freedom with solar panels. They don't want people to be energy independent.

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mr. Random says:

    Damn should have got puts

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Alex Funk says:

Has anyone considered the possibility that this is simply the way GM has taken over Nikola? They get the entire company for free. All they had to do was get their man in there and get Trevor Martin out of the way, and what better way than to get Hindenburg to do their dirty work for them?

It wouldn't surprise me if they then simply allowed the disruptive electric business to vanish. They couldn't make Tesla vanish, but they certainly could make Nikola vanish.

Wall street analysts are still backing a price of $30 or more – probably to give themselves time to sell off before the price collapses.
