Let's talk about Tesla, Elon Musk and ARK invest. Elon went back and forth with Cathie Wood on twitter, and in the process dropped a major piece of news about Tesla's future which we will analyze and breakdown in this video.
This is strictly my opinion, so do your own research and make up your own mind.

Never bet against Elon. This has been said for many years and it has always held true.

Great vid Tom! Any new stock picks?

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars James West says:

Tesla's success can be measured by the attempts by the other auto manufacturers trying to compete with electric cars and trucks. This means that we may actually be driving electric cars charged with power derived from the sun or other clean resources.

Tesla is overvalued. Tesla is a great company, but they sell cars and need to build cars. They can't just ramp up manufacturing with the click of a button. P/E ratio is 1100. That's crazy for any company. Forget about most of the the old car companies. They are dead mainly because of poor management and unfunded liabilities. Some will catch up and new companies will enter the market. Tesla needs to build and sell cars. Tesla is worth 25% of Amazon. That's not reality.

Can you cover possible number 2 or third place? Like workhorse?

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mike Sizzle says:

I think TSLA is by far and away number 1 but who y'all got for number 2 & 3?
Seems like placing a bet on them could net you a pretty penny as underdogs

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mike Sizzle says:

Only time I sell Tesla is to cover my margin from buying Tesla ๐Ÿคฃ

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars zeake13 says:

DAmn, I need to buy some Tesla….I wish I had wasted some money on it many years ago. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Elon Musk invents nothing new that hasn't been invented.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Derek Semmence says:

Get that lady off. Elon not a tech guy?????????????????????????????????????Thumbs down. I wish I was there. I will never listen to this channel again. WHAT ARE YOU DOING INVITING PEOPLE WHO ARE MAKING STATEMENTS LIKE THAT. IT IS LIKE SAYING TESLA@S LOLGO IS BLUE>

Meet kevin did an episode on this…complete analysis of battery day he gave a estimate of 4800 I believe it was someday in the future.

I believe unrealized potential when you combine what all elon has done.

You'll have a million cars with no self driving…a sale of $4000 on a million cars will result in instant profits, battery life, performance, maybe lifetime subscription to teslas connected features music/maps/weather etc. Combination of solar & batteries is huge. People continue to build, go to green technology. Energy companies want batteries for backup.

The real question is can the grid handle such a massive transition. Kwh demands will increase significantly, fortunately most of it at night, off peak, but solar is useless at night.

Elon, the next time you get asked whether you think Teslaโ€™s stock is overvalued instead of saying yes, please respond with: โ€œon the contrary, with all of the new innovations I didnโ€™t talk about on Battery Day that are coming up, Tesla stock is actually a steal at current prices.โ€ Thanks.

Like Tom says, "in my opinion…" There will be an upward trend in the production of green hydrogen and consequently a downward trend in the cost per kg. Large fleets of heavy vehicles can be converted from diesel to hydrogen, and it has the advantage of faster refueling than BEVs.

I'm all into TSLA, but one can't say what the future holds. Toyota, Hyundai and others have invested a huge amount into FCEV R&D and they're not playing games. California already has 45 hydrogen fueling stations and there are more being built. Hydrogen also acts as a storage like batteries, so it can be used for stationary generation of power.

There are other forms of energy storage. There is even a car that runs off compressed air. ๐Ÿ‘

EVs are already less cost than gas cars. Life cycle cost is $1k a year less. Also how much is it worth to breath clean air, not give billions to Saudi's, no oil spills and much more.

Tom, I subscribed to your channel to support you in your fight against Nicola.

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Steve S says:

The rosy numbers are limited by how many battery packs you can produce. Rememeber it is not just about cars, but big trucks which may demand more batteries, and small utilites at the houses. I question the car number with other high margin Tesla product vying for more batteries, but again it is how fast Tesla can produce battery packs not cars.

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars FoolishInTheEnd says:

Are people not worried about the market cap to gdp ratio? Are people still buying i dont understand

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Sukesh Kohli says:

What makes you think other car manufacturers like Toyota, BMW, Mercedes-Benz or even GMC, Ford or FEAC canโ€™t hire qualified engineers to make EVs to compete Tesla in next couple of years. If EVs parts were to become 28% cheaper to compete with conventional auto parts then these companies will be forced to venture into ELECTRIC Vehicles thereby eroding any gains made by Tesla. Google or even UBER will have ripened auto pilot technology to be integrated for other leading auto players. Tesla will NOT be #1 EV manufacturer in next five years and will potentially trade below $100 ๐Ÿ™‚

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars J.M.Campbell says:

Toyota is done for. No interest in making EV's. They're irrelevant now. Their so called great reliability of making ICE cars can't save them either. Tesla for the win ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Yvan Pajevic says:

Tesla already claimed they would drop the price by 56%…THAT'S MORE THAN HALF! A fifty thousand dollar car will drop to twenty five! That's just from their current innovations! That's not even considering Wright's law.

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars RCdiy says:

When does Wrghts law bottom out?

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars RCdiy says:

He is the chief engineer at spaceX.

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars C Sandberg says:

Tesla could later on scale to heavy equipment machines, buses, boats and airplanes.

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars John E says:

I am thinking about buying Tesla stock.

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars 1pros1t says:

Mercedes is starting to roll out Busses with solid state batteries with 25% more range. The first car company to roll out solid state with 350kw+ charging will have a chance to beat Tesla.
